I am not satisfied that the business is saying that they have no control over their mailings. I would be very happy to close this case, if indeed the mailings stop, but we have been told about a dozen times that this and the mailings have continued. Can you please advise when the company has contacted their advertising company? Was this in response to this case? Or was this done months ago or when the request was initially made. I find it very troublesome that they are admitting to not having control over their advertising by a "saturation mailing". Please respond. Thank you.
First used Family for service on my 2011 Sonata. Service, service staff, dealer location were all very good and deserved a return visit when I was in the market for a new car purchase. My wife and I went to Family a couple days ago and as soon as we entered we were immediately greeted by Ricardo. He determined our reason for the visit and directed us to Mark. They assisted us in looking at different models on the floor. Both men were well versed in the vehicles, answered our questions, Ricardo helped us in the test drive of a model we selected. Meanwhile, someone else inspected the 2011 Sonata we were considering as a trade in . We had a comfortable and productive discussion on the trade in value, incentives and purchase price of a 2016 Sonata. I required a specific Sonata Limited color and Mark determined that the vehicle I wanted was at another dealership so he arranged to have that car brought to Family for us. The next day, we test drove the Limited with Ricardo, discussed our offer and desired monthly payment amounts. Mark worked with us to come up with an agreement on all figures. At no time did we feel pressured or rushed. Both Mark and Ricardo along with others in the sales and finance staff made the entire process smooth and easy. We were sad to leave our 2011 Sonata, we enjoyed all 109000 miles with it but that moved us to purchase our 2016 Sonata. We plan to top 110000 mile on this car and return to Family.
Overall experience was ok, but my sales person was certainly interested only in making a sale. He seemed inconvenienced about any questions I asked, and after just a reaearching Hyundai for just a few weeks I certainly knew more about both the vehicle and incentives than he did. For example, I was guaranteed that a vehicle he found for me from another dealership had a sunroof when I knew that option was not available on the model I was seeking. I received a confirmation call again guaranteeing that, even after telling him I already knew (and was ok with) that not being an option. Also received a phone call stating the rebated ended that day, but was able to inform him that the Hyundai rebates actually ended 4 days later. Lastly, I was called to confirm our appointment the morning I was purchasing the vehicle, and when I arrived the vehicle was not there, my sales parson did not know when it would be arriving, and we got no notification so my wife and I had to wait for it to show up. Overall would not recommend this dealership being there are several others in the area I would visit first.
I have been a very satisfied customer with Family Hyundai in Tinley Patk for the last 10 years! Not only have I purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership, I have also completed all required vehicle maintenance and added features via the service department at Family Hyundai in Tinley. They possess a customer oriented customer service approach, knowledgeable staff, and go above and beyond to satisfy the customer.

lack of communication in our Business Development Department, this customer was in fact contacted several times in one day, we have sent the consumer communication apolizing for the excessive number of phone calls and we have offered to pay for their next oil change. We have asked that they contact our Internet Sales Manager [redacted] so that he can personally take care of this. We hope that this will be satisfactory to the customer.
Turned in our Elantra to get a Tuscon from Frank at Family Hyundai. Frank is better than a Salesmen, he is a great person truly caring for his customers. This is our third Hyundai from Frank and the Family Dealership and it will not be the last. (the Tuscon was a great choice, this is a fantastic SUV, well designed and well engineered, we are going to enjoy it) Thanks Frank!
