Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As I've said, I know you are the Supply House for Wayne Dalton and not Wayne Dalton itselfA lady finally called last week from customer serviceShe said that I have the procedure correct as far as how the warranty is to be handledShe said that I do need to go through your supply house to get the warranty handledI know this because I own a heating and air conditioning business and that's how we and our customers do it.I hope he will be able to get it doneI look forward to hearing from him Sincerely, [redacted]

We are a dealer for Wayne Dalton product, we do not manufacture the door here and are bound by the same warrantyYou need to contact Wayne Dalton in OhioThey will be the ones that will or will not warranty the product they madeWith the section you got replaced before,it was done through the manufacture in OhioYes it was shipped here due to the dealer you purchased from bought it from us and we purchased from them Wayne Dalton Manufacturing in Ohio - here is their customer service # [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Your company is listed with the Revdex.com as representing Wayne Dalton DoorsI understand you are a Wayne Dalton supplier which is the company that we, the consumer, need to go through in order to have our door warrantiedI have tried to get a direct number to someone at Wayne Dalton, but all I've been given is a customer service number which I've had no response fromAs I stated previously, Wayne Dalton's response is wrongAs they were originally when they warrantied our door the first timeI have the emails between [redacted] doors which shows Wayne Dalton trying to say it's the frames that were cracked and that it wasn't covered under their warrantyThey apparently thought our door was a model which had a frame around the windows, as I understand [redacted] explained that our door is a model which is one complete top section and the frames are not replaceableThat was when Wayne Dalton honored their warranty in and sent your company our replacement section for [redacted] Doors to pickup for us and replace I've been trying to get Wayne Dalton (or whatever your company's name is) to warranty this same section that they warrantied beforeThe warranty you have attached says it is for a modelOurs is a 9700! When I wasn't sure where our warranty was, your company sent me a warrantyWell, I found my original warranty and noticed the warranty you sent me has been revisedMy original warranty should still be upheldI will attach my copy of our original warranty, in which I've highlighted the sentence that states coverageI will also attach pictures of the cracks on our door I am under the impression that Wayne Dalton doesn't want to cover this door section again because they know they have a problem with this modelI've heard they have a fix for this specific problem which seems to have issues as wellI'd like for Wayne Dalton to stand behind their Lifetime warranty against defects, as they have beforeAfter a year of trying to get this resolved, I am sick and tired of being blown off and being told the frames (which our door doesn't have) are only warrantied for years and ours is years oldThe top section that they warrantied was only years old when these cracks appeared again and I've been trying to get this resolved for a year now Sincerely, [redacted]

We have been? talking with our salesman that represents Wayne Dalton's product with us? along with their customer service manager in Mt HopeI believe this is who you ended up talking to last weekThe Wayne Dalton salesman is buying you a new top sectionHowever there is a part here that he wants you to be aware ofThis is a stained product, and he cannot guarantee that the stains will matchDue to age / weathering etc.? We will be processing this order today- it will take about three weeks to get in.? We will need your contact information, so we can let you know when it is hereat that point you can arrange for pick up either by yourself or [redacted] doors? ?

We here at *** have reviewed the complaintLet me first point out that this complaint really is with the wrong businessIt needs to be lodged against Wayne Dalton Manufacturing in the state of Ohio We are not Wayne Dalton manufacturing, nor do we
manufacture Wayne Dalton doors here in Denver in any capacityWe sale and purchase their product, just like *** doesLike ***; there is not a lot we can do on our end and our bound by what the manufacture will or will not do We reached out to Wayne Dalton manufacturing in the State of Ohio, for help and or guidance along with forwarding them your e-mail and attachments. Below is the reply, we received from them. As to a door being years old with the lite frames cracking that would not be covered by a warranty claim. We will go out 2-years even though the warranty specifically states year on components (which the lite frames fall under).

Revdex.com:I assume you mean that Wayne Dalton is finally going to uphold their warranty on our doorThe last time they warrantied the top section, they sent out color samples to pick a color that best matched our door as it had faded someI surely don't want the top section to look totally different from the rest of the doorCan we get some color samples to try and match the rest of the door?My contact info:*** ***

I am rejecting this response because:I just called the customer service # againThere is a message saying to contact your local Wayne Dalton Dealer for warranty issues...that would be your companyI've left a message with their customer service againI am the owner of a Heating and Air Conditioning business and I understand how the warranty works on products such as thisOur door was replaced under warranty once before for the very same issue it has nowI don't understand what is so difficultFor over a year now, I've been getting the run around and quite frankly, I'm sick of itI really don't think it should have to go to a lawyer, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere.
