I have been charged a late fee of $for one business day late on my gym membership, which is absurd considering most businesses will waive late fees or give you more than one day to set the account straightIf all businesses charged $late fees after one day of being late, this economy would self-destruct and bankruptcy would skyrocketThey sent me an email on Sunday notifying me of the insufficient funds and then ran my card AGAIN today, before I even had an opportunity to make other arrangements

I never had so many issues with dealing with two companies [redacted] in Nashua and ABC financialsWhen I signed up for the membership, it was no contract, no hassle based on what the person at fitlab mentionedI was told that I could call anytime to cancel the membership in which I did in October and [redacted] said they couldn't help and I tried to get a hold of ABC financialWhen I got a hold of them they said I need to send a letter (they didn't mention email) to cancel this accountI don't recall signing any agreement stating that I agree to that termThen I just decided to dispute it with my credit card company which helped a little but the charges keep coming to my accountNow I am in the process of cancelling this account via email and I am dealing with different people each time I email them to make it more difficultI am tired of this and want to just pay the remaining fees but they are making it more difficult by saying that I need to pay the november and december fees but november fees have been already charged to my accountTo go through this much struggle to cancel a gym membership is ridiculousThe gym membership was a month, then they charged me late fees

I personally went to my local [redacted] and turned in my key and requested to cancel my membershipThey accepted my key but continued to bill meWhen I filed a complaint with my credit card company and blocked them from the ability to continue to bill me - only then did they contact meThey told me that my turning my key in was not good enough! That I had to send a certified letter to them! Still waiting for them to refund me

The worst experience everI tried to cancel the membership months agoThey still charge my accountI have proof and still want cancel my accountThe supervisor [redacted] said I need to clear my account to close my accountBut when you cancel it three months ago when it was clear and you continue to charge it it will not be clear cause I want pay for itThis business is a scam and needs to lose it business licenseThey supervisor also said they she did not care if I contact the Revdex.com cause I was wrongGreat customer service

Employees are not well trainedAfter submitting an email to take my son off my account I called in and asked to cancel the entire account because of the Many problems we had at the gym (including a gym employee saying he had canceled our account for us* back in March)
First of all you wait on hold for minutes before speaking with anyone EVERY time you call in, secondly the gentleman was poorly trained or misinformedMy account continued to be billed for months after he said he would cancel
Now when I call in to speak to someone they tell me they can only** go by my email, not the phone call with their employeeThey admitted to overcharging, but are doing NOTHING about his incompetence in telling me he was canceling my accountAfter reading reviews on ABC Financial Services on other websites I looked on Revdex.comYou all did not have ANY reviews on them and listed them as "A+"I am not sure what drives your rating, but I beg you to look into it and have it align with how poorly the company actually does business and treats their customers
I will NEVER give my business to ANY Company that uses ABC Financial Services as their 3rd party billing

Abc financial does billing fir *** ***The 3nd of December ABC fraud entry billed my credit cardInformation needed to be updated and expiration sat chsngedThey kept trying and somehow succeeded they billed too muchI calked them and told them I have medical note and am cancelling my membership and if they needed to bull me anymore to please send statements that I am nit giving them credit card information after tgat experience abd asked that automated messages stopped being kwftThey still contnue to leave automated message or tines a weekThis is been going on months now since I notified thrm begin inning of January that I was cancelling nembership they say doctor nite isn't acceptable that it needs to be in letterhead and have phone # in case they need to call to verifyI also enclosed picture of handicap parking permit to show I am disabled

ABC Financial Services, Inchandles my Anytime Fitness gym membershipI was charged a $service fee plus a $late fee for my account which is $The total late fee and service fee totaled MORE than my account payment a total of $They did this on BOTH of my memberships, so instead of me being charged $I was charged two separate charges of $and $45.98, totaling $They also raised my gym fee without my approvalThis business is an absolute scam and I have never had such a bad experience

I had gym membership with *** *** with the billing handled by ABC financialWas a member for a few years but my work moved and the new location had a gymI kept my membership with *** until I finally decided to try to cancel itFound out the process consisted of getting a cancel form from the gym then calling ABC financial with the cancelation numberWell I went to the gym the first time and the staff there said the manager had the cancelation forms locked in his desk and since he wasn't there I couldnt get itFrustrated I called ABC to see if I could cancel without this form, explaining what happened, but they refused saying I needed that formWell life goes on and I put it off a couple of months then finally decided it was time to get this formWent to *** *** again and I got the form and started the processThis was on 8/19/I received an email from ABC financial on 8/19/advising me that I was responsible for the annual fee per the contract
I called and spoke to a representative a few days laterShe acknowledged the fact that it was unfair and was going to try to get this annual fee of waivedPromised to get back to me in a few days but I never heard from her
The next contact I got was from ABC Financials as they weren't able to process the annual $fee as my card on file was declined
I writing this complaint to let others know about this companies practicesThere are a lot of complaints against them but most of us don't say anything cuz we don't want our credit hurt from thisNot fair at all and I'm sure I'll pay the annual fee of $even though my membership is canceled so my credit isn't effected

Last year I signed up with GOLDS GYM next to my officeI was working relatively close to the gym and was a student at the University of HoustonWhen I first signed up everything was greatAbout months into the I was not able to go to the gym for various reasonsI called to cancel and they told me there was a 100$ cancellation feeI decided not to cancel at the time as I was moving more than miles away from all gyms soonAfter moving back to my parents house, I attempted to cancel my membership per the moveI was told to provide a credit card statement with the new addressI asked if I could fax or email them, seeing as we are in the 21st century, but was denied and that it must be sent via mailI sent the documents almost months agoWhen they received my document they informed me that a scanned copy of my credit card was not sufficient, and she stated that she attached the list of appropriate cancellation methods, which she did notI asked her for the list and days later received itNow the list had changed stating that the credit card must be the original copy...as if something would have changed in the scanI am still battling back and forth with this company as I do all of my billing online, and some of the other forms of cancellation are not valid since I am not the owner of the house
This company does everything they can do keep squeezing money out of hard working people who just want to cancel a membershipIt's not right and it's not fairI don't know how the people that work for this company sleep at night knowing that they screw people around every single day

This institute does not represent it clients well at all I applied for a membership at *** *** *** in Mount Juliet, Tn It was not clearly explained to me how much session would cost with a personal trainer until I actually got home and reviewed the contract I immediately called to cancel the contract simply because I could not afford it I spoke with the manager the following day and we agreed upon finishing out the month with a personal trainer and then converting to a regular gym membership That did not happen I went through countless representative with ABC Financial gathering information as to how I could get my contract cancelled immediately Needless to say, it went back and forth from them to the manager and my calls were going unreturned I finally went down to the shop after a month had passed and spoke with the manager He assured me that he would take care of the matter I get a call a day later from the financial institute and they are telling me what I could do, not what I needed to do I want this contract cancelled and a person should not have to go through this my distress in doing soIt really makes it hard to recommend shops that deal with these types of financial institutions

Originally signed a contract for *** gym in West Roxbury MA a while back, and per the original contract that I signed I was only required to provide written notification to the GYM that I was using*** change over to ***, I never signed any new contracts, but deductions kept coming from my accountI cancelled back in November, and still ABC financial continued to attempt to make unauthorized deductions from my bank accountThey now say I owe them dollars for the contract and an additional in late feesThis is outrageousI did everything I was contractually obligated to do in order to cancel my account, and still they make unauthorized debits - luckily at the same time I had switched to another debit card, so the deductions were not actually taken, they just continue to bill me for more and more money each monthI will never attend a gym that used this financial company again, and I will be submitting a complain to the AG's office in Massachusetts if this is not rectified immediately

This business charged my account after my contract was overAuto renewal had been turned off according to my account information page, but they still kept charging me after the month contractMy card had expired and I did not update my information on their site so months of "fees" accumulated and they charged my account dollarsThis is ridiculous and I will never work with any of the gyms they're associated with ever again

claims under their termination cancelation policy for new contractsStates you can cancel within business days of the contractSent my certified mailed letter on 8/ buisness days after my agreement which was made on 8/24, which was a Wednesday afternoonFirst they told me I had to pay a $cancellation fee becaus they received on 9/after the buisness daysWhen I pointed out the contract states the letter needed to certified "postmarked" within buisness days and did not state the company had to "recieve" the letter "within" business days after signing the contract, they then stated they could not doing anythingTheir response yet again was because after "careful review" the letter was sent on 8/and which is after the "day time frame"If a business advertises "certified mailed and postmarked within buisness days" to my knowledge business days are Mon-Frid not including weekends! If you made a purchase on 8/a Wednesday, business days with is Thursday, Friday, MONDAY 9/

Seems like its a running theme Enrolled in a year long membership at a gym that I was told there would be no obligation to me at the end to cancel I SPECIFICALLY asked this question in order to avoid this disaster Magically, a renewal fee was charged to my bank account Upon arguing with supervisors and managers alike, nothing was done In fact, the ONLY way to cancel is to force two more months of membership fees on me You have to send them in writing a request for cancellation, which I think is ridiculous They will not consider that notice any sooner than days of receiving it They have really hurt me financially and people should be aware of this third party billing service These are evil people

I'm amazed at thisI was told by my trainer/owner if I signed In November I would not be charged until jan because I was gone the month of decso I signed the horrible abc contractMy trainer then did not show for two of the first sessions that I payed 60$ per session for upfront!! So I said keep the balance for the month and cancel our contractHe said call abcWell this is where I learned of the SCAM!! So the trainer doesn't fulfill his obligation (I kept all his apology text) and ABC says you don't have a payment due until jan but you'll owe 500$ to leave the contract!! I then called back and they have said I do owe dec and the 500!!!! They added a payment!!!! This treatment has to be illegalWhat are my optionsThe company still has 360$ of my unused training !!! I have cancelled all of my credit cardsPlease please don't use anyone with this company
