ABC Financial has been calling & harassing me for a gym, whom I AM NOT UNDER CONTRACTI would like them to quit pestering me.It is MY CHOICE WHICH GYM I CHOOES TO GO TO.I have told them several times to quit calling me.Threaten my credit...Really have NO RIGHT.NOT CONTRACTED!!!

Abc financial services is one of the biggest scam billing services everThey are tied with workout world (gym) and when I tried to cancel my membership it was a complicated process of sending emails andWaitingWell guess what that went on for almost months and I was billed for each month sinceHuge pain to unsubscribe from their membership, avoid at all costsWhy wouldn't it just be as simple as calling the gym and asking for it to be cancelled? Oh that's right because then they couldn't f* you by billing you again because you didn't submit it before the next day cycle continues

It took me SIX MONTHS to end my contract at a gym in Hinesville, GA with ABC financialI sent in my husband's military orders in July of with a message saying "Hi I would like to start the process to cancel my 24seven gym contract with military ordersWe are leaving the area now and will not be by another gym so we can't continue service
My name is Hannah *** and I'm attaching my husbands military orders to this email." and they told me I could not cancel until the date of the orders which was October 10th, even though I was no longer living in the areaI called several times over the next few months to check on things and they kept telling me the "special cancellations" dept would handle it and get back to me in a week, which they NEVER didI had one bill taken out AFTER the date of October 10th when my contract should have been cancelled, and I called and they didn't even cancel my membership until almost a month after that! Then one employee told me I was due a refund and to wait, so I called over the next FOUR weeks and finally I was sent an email by an employee who couldn't even speak correctly, and was told that I was not due a refund AND THAT THEY DON'T EVEN DEAL WITH MILITARY! They are such liars and scam artistsI would NEVER do business with this company again

I am writing this review as they are joint partners with my gym in Las Vegas, EOS Fitness, handling their billing and cancellationsMy membership with EOS fitness has always been on a recurring auto-draft, so I have never had problems with late payments that I have seen other customers complaining aboutMy problem is that I must give a day notice to cancel the account, pay a $cancellation fee to cancel the account (two accounts, one for my wife and myself, so $30), plus pay the recurring fees of my gym for an additional days (about $25), so $just to leave the gymI am moving to another part of the country and cannot utilize the gym, even if I wanted to, which I find absolutely ludicrous
Not to mention I had an extremely poor experience with EOS Fitness and their training staff in which I was forced to pay approximately $per month for training from incompetent staff, which I ended up not using and could not cancel for an entire yearThe staff was revolving constantly, and even if I found a trainer I could work with he either quit or was moved to another facilityThis seems to be the fault of EOS and not ABC, but the fact that I've paid so much money to EOS (And ABC, directly), to squeeze me out of another $aggravates me to no end
I realize all of these terms are in contract, and I did in fact agree to them (well, my wife did, since she signed me up), but it has been by far, one of the most horrific experiences I've had to endure in dealing with a business (or partnership of businesses)

I signed up for *** *** in pearland, tx in which abc financial handles the contract side The gym was fine but signing up for the contract was a big fat negative thing to doI lived in pearland at the time and a pearland address was filed for the contractFirst I go to *** *** to cancel my membershipThey said it would be no problem because I have a dl with my other address, which is clearly not within an mile radius of any gymI talked to a representative of the gym and he said that my dl wont work So he gave me a card to call abc financialI called and I was on hold a good long time Finally I talk to someone and they told me what to do in order to get my gym membership cancelledFirst I send a dl pictureThat got denied so then I called again to complain about my dl pictureThe lady I talked to didn't really help but told me another way to get it cancelled A month went by and I got an automatic phone call from abcfinancial regarding a payment that didnt go thruI had to cancel my debit they had on file for the auto pay because I lost itSo I gave them a ring backI got another lady to talk toSo I answered some questions for security purposes which I answered with my new address She noticed I gave a new address and insisted on updating it on fileI said do not file my new address because of my cancellation situation She even read the address she had on file which is from pearland, Tx Now I did not give them my new billing information because I did not want to get charged another month what so everSo now I emailed a screen shot of my electricity bill from my new address online for cancellationThat got shot down because abc financial needed a picture of an actual letter that has been sent to my new address The next day I email a picture of a real billing letter from my electricity company Abc replies with another denial of cancellation which read, "I am sorry but the address on the Entergy Bill is the same address that you signed up withI was unable able to cancel your membership with the proof providedHowever, your auto renewal has been deleted." I reply by email telling them that this is ridiculous Its so funny how they have my new address on file nowI'm just disgusted on how this company can manipulate customers like this I wasn't born yesterdaySo apparently they updated my address without my approval from the phone call the day before I will never recommend anybody to a gym that abc financial services, inc handles the contract sideNeverThis is a poor mishandled company that disrespects customers by not approving cancellation requests with legitimate info per abc financials cancellation process

This company holds my contract for a gym I signed up for in my areaTheir cancellation policy is fairly standardIf you move miles away from any gym, you need to provide proof of that move (they give you a list of acceptable proof) and then they run your contract for more daysI provided proof (a credit card statement) to this company on June 3rd via email, June 4th I received an email back from a rep saying my proof was not sufficient, despite being on their list, and then the rep said she had attached the list (which she did not)I sent a response back saying I had already been provided a list and that my proof was acceptable per their termsI received no response to that emailJune 13th I sent an email to check up on my previous emails and attached my proof yet againOn June 15th, a different rep contacted me to let me know my cancellation was finally in progressThe catch is, the billing cycle runs every 15th of the month, so this company deliberately waited until June 15th so that they could bill me for an extra monthI find this very unprofessional and will flag the transaction with my credit card company once billedWatch out for this company as they will do everything they can to get extra money from you

I have been trying to cancel my gym membership because I have moved out of state for workMy contract contains a clause that states I can cancel my membership if I am able to provide "sufficient evidence of relocation." So far I have sent them my new job acceptance letter, bills addressed to me at my new out of state residence, as well as my new employee IDThe company continues to pretend that this information is not enough despite the fact that all three of these items appear on a list of what they consider "sufficient evidence." I am now considering legal action

So after many attempts to cancel my membership with *** FitnessPhone calls made, letters sentI have now been contacted by ABC Financial stating that I have been turned over to collections because have not paid the fees due
They have stated that I have received many phone calls and letters attempting to collect my money "NOT"
All I can say is beware of this company and any contract that you may sign involving them!!!

I joined a *** gym in Spartanburg, SC while on a work assignmentThe assignment was over at the end of August so I requested that my membership be terminatedI was told I had to put it in writingSo I submitted it in writing at the gym locationI assumed that they would stop charging my cardToday 5/19/I notice a charge for $dollars on my card from ABC financial Services for the gym feeAfter further investigation I realize that I have be continuously charged for my gym membership for the last monthsI call their customer service line and request that they honor my cancellation and remove the charges made for this monthI was told that they have no record of my cancellation and I would have to mail them a new cancellation request and receive additional charges until they can process the letterFirst off my membership should have been cancelled in September, and secondly I should not have to resubmit a cancellation request so that they can keep charging me and pretend they never received it especially when I call and verify my identity and explain this whole situationThis is absurd and immoralI would suggest that anyone thinking about adding a membership should beware of these unethical practices of ciphering money from customer who no longer wish to be a member of their gymgym membership number XXXX-XXXXX

I recently received a charge on my bank statement from ABC Financial which made no sense to me Upon calling I realized that the monthly payments I had been applying with automatic pay was not being paid on my gym membership but on a membership my husband had opened and closed about a year ago He had jointed my then year old daughter on the premises that he could quit it at anytime knowing that she wouldn't stick with it He did call and cancel and sent them an email canceling He also stopped payment on his card Somehow in the interim they somehow managed to switch my credit card # over on his account They said that someone had called in and gave the new credit card # He doesn't have access to my credit card and he wouldn't do that anyway and I never would call to put his membership on my card I didn't even remembered he had a membership Also if I had called in wouldn't it have said it was for (his name)? Anyway, after two days of on and off calls trying to get this straightened out and agreeing they would take care of it I called back after not hearing and they were so rude to me Told me the only way they would reimburse my money for the last months is if I filed a police report that my husband stole my credit card I have never been talked to so rudely as when I spoke to this last person She refused to give me her name also So the deal is they were applying my scheduled payments for my gym membership to my husband's old account that he had cancelled a long time ago They refuse to reimburse me and I could almost go with the loss of the $ but you know in about months they'll be hounding me saying I never paid my gym membership when I did! I am definitely taking them to small claims court but I just want everyone to be aware to double triple check account numbers and never use their automated system because if there is a gliche it's obviously their opinion that it's not their problem

I spoke with an agent several months ago regarding canceling my Charter membershipShe advised me at that time I needed to send a cancellation notice by regular mail, certified mail, or I could go in to Charter FitnessSo I mailed a letter by regular mail They claimed they didn't receive itI called again and the next agent advised me to do the same thingThis time I drove to Charter on my lunch and they advised me that I couldn't cancel there, I would have to go to the place I signed upNow I'm just frustrated because I am following what supposed to be in my contractInstead they want to give you the run aroundIf the only way they will accept your cancelation is by certified mail, that's what should be saidI called back to complain, the rep couldn't do anythingI happen to work in a place where I mail things all the timeI sent several correspondence the same day and Charter is the only one that claims the letter got lost in the mailI haven't been to their facility in months due to medical issues, but I continued to pay monthly Now they want to give me a hard time to cancel and continue to charge meI was in contact with them several times trying to cancel

I never had so many issues with dealing with two companies*** in Nashua and ABC financialsWhen I signed up for the membership, it was no contract, no hassle based on what the person at fitlab mentionedI was told that I could call anytime to cancel the membership in which I did in October and *** said they couldn't help and I tried to get a hold of ABC financialWhen I got a hold of them they said I need to send a letter (they didn't mention email) to cancel this accountI don't recall signing any agreement stating that I agree to that termThen I just decided to dispute it with my credit card company which helped a little but the charges keep coming to my accountNow I am in the process of cancelling this account via email and I am dealing with different people each time I email them to make it more difficultI am tired of this and want to just pay the remaining fees but they are making it more difficult by saying that I need to pay the november and december fees but november fees have been already charged to my accountTo go through this much struggle to cancel a gym membership is ridiculousThe gym membership was a month, then they charged me late fees

The worst experience everI tried to cancel the membership months agoThey still charge my accountI have proof and still want cancel my accountThe supervisor *** said I need to clear my account to close my accountBut when you cancel it three months ago when it was clear and you continue to charge it it will not be clear cause I want pay for itThis business is a scam and needs to lose it business licenseThey supervisor also said they she did not care if I contact the Revdex.com cause I was wrongGreat customer service
