Item # 3 states either party gives at least 60 days written notice of termination or intent to move out. Item #5 states before moving out, you must give our representative advance written-move out note as stated in Par.36 in the lease contract. We received Mr. [redacted] Notice to Vacate in his May rent evelope. The notice was back dated April 1, 2015. Mr. [redacted] was contacted about the required 60 day notice. On May 6, 2015 there was an email sent stating we received his notice and his lease requires a 60 day notice to full fill his lease as discussed the day before on the phone with the bookkeeper. He was advised to refer to his lease contract for additional information. Mr. [redacted] was billed for insufficient notice and a reletting charge as stated in Item #10 on the TAA Lease Contract it states you will be liable for a reletting charge if you fail to give written move-out notice as required in Par23 or 36. To whom it may concern,Mr. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] lived in apartment #[redacted], provided Provenza at Barker Cypress a notice to vacate for 11/1/2015. After conducting a move out inspection we found that one of the bedrooms had carpet damages due to pet urine. We referred to their lease and their pet addendum for deposits. The total deposit paid was $200.00 for their apartment home, in which it was deducted from the balance that was due at move out. According to their pet addendum they paid $0.00 pet deposit, $0.00 monthly rent and $600.00 additional fee that is non-refundable. I have attached a copy of  the residents lease, pet addendum, account ledger  and water bill statements for unpaid balances along with the pictures of the carpet. Ordered a brand new unit
for this resident and have given him a temporary unit in the mean
time.   Received the new unit Thursday evening.   I spoke with the resident yesterday and explained
the situation to him and he seemed fine and understood.  He did not

up with him again before I left yesterday and got his voicemail so I left him a
message.

Can you please let us know the name of the apartment complex you are referencing in the complaint so we can address the issues?  Thank you.

Greystar has taken 2 months to send me my security deposit, but it finally arrived today. You may close this complaint now and disregard.

I called Avana Brazos Ranch about their response and they did finally give me the name of the collections company, but they are still saying that there is nothing that they can do and that it is up to the collections company and I called the collections company and they are saying the same thing, that I could dispute it but it will end up looking worse on my credit. We asked to be present during the walk thru at time of move in, as well as when we moved out (see their attached e-mail that they provided). Also, still no word on the ruined patio furniture.
