We r Wireless Reviews (6)

I wanted to let you know that I have never received a response from Go WirelessI called Verizon Wireless and after several days and speaking to different Customer service representatives ( all who were extremely helpful) who finally did a Corporate override to Go Wireless to correct the problem
with the Samsung Tablet. Verizon supposedly filed a complaint themselves with corporate regarding this matter and the supervisor and all customer reps were horrified that this happened and were extremely apologetic. I have been with Verizon Wireless for over years and have never had this kind of issue.Thank you for your assistance,*** * *** ***

This business sold me things I didn't need, do not communicate with Verizon corporate, have worst ethical business standards on earth, are very unprofessional, and lie to consumers. This is a terrible business and consumers should avoid them at all costs. Awful business.

Review: I purchased a new phone at this [redacted] authorized retailer in August 2013. They offered to keep my phone insurance, that I already had on my previous phone through [redacted]. Last month, my phone had broke and I went to the store to get it replaced - I was told that they no longer replace phones, as the insurance company was bought out by a different company, [redacted]. I was given their number and was told there is nothing that We R Wireless could do. After reviewing my original contract from August 2013, I saw that it clearly states that We R Wireless would take care of all phone insurance issues in the store. I went back to the store with the contract, and they would do nothing about it. I am also angry that they gave my credit card information to a new company that I was not alerted on. It has been over 3 weeks, and I still have not received my replacement phone.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a replacement phone be given to me, as per our original contract.

Review: On 4/*/14 I purchase a Samsung Intensity III cell phone from this store. I asked the salesman, [redacted], why the telephone was not encased in plastic and I was told it came from the factory that way. Upon arriving at home, I saw that not only was the phone not encased in plastic, but the battery was not encased in plastic and was floating around the box. I called Samsung the next day and they insured me that neither the phone nor the battery is shipped without being encased in plastic. At this point, not wanting to deal with any further mistruths, all I wanted to do was to return the phone, which although I had been told that it was not activated, may have been used as a floor or demonstration model (it was no longer encased in plastic) or was a return as the battery had been removed from its package, and get my money back. I wanted no further dealings with someone that was dishonest. I contacted [redacted] so that they could communicate with the We R Wireless and they said that they would not waive the restocking fee. I returned the phone on 4/*/14 and was charged a $50 restocking fee for returning an item which was not "brand new" as it had been represented. The receipt indicated that I changed my mind but I actually did not want the "used" products. When I went to purchase a phone the next day, I was told that We R Wireless had not removed my upgrade from the system as they were supposed to do when I returned the phone the previous day. Wanting nothing further to do with the establishment, I called [redacted] who in turn called We R Wireless and had the problem corrected. However, this caused a great delay in my purchase of a new phone. I do not think this was a mistake, I think it was retribution for my return of the "used" products.Desired Settlement: I would like my $50 restocking fee refunded as the merchandise was not "brand new" as it had been represented and I did not want any further dealings with the mendacious merchant.

Review: I purchased a new iPhone 5 for my husband at We r wireless on July 9 2013. Not knowing it's actually a 3rd party store, not Verizon Wireless. This store told us we could purchase insurance in advance, on the new line we were adding, for $150. So we would save money from paying monthly. We thought that would be good so we paid $150 for the insurance.Unfortunately our iPhone 5 stopped vibrating. With Verizon, when I have a problem with my phone I go to Verizon, they find the problem, then they send me a new phone free of cost. They just sent me two replacements for my 5s iPhone last week and the week that I had the issue with my other phone. When we went to We R Wireless, they said the phone is in fact broken BUT I need to pay $175 for a deductible? I found out this is 3rd party insurance and not infact the same insurance as I have always had. I told them with my other phone on the same account, I just got 2 new iPhone 5S's replacement for free, because the insurance covered both issues. The store manager wasn't helpful and said they no longer carry this insurance, and the company we bought the insurance from was sold. I emailed the area manager asking him to correct this issue because two employees from Verizon on the phone told me that this store sold us fake insurance and that this store "scammed" us. The store manager said they could try and push up my phone upgrade date and I could buy a new phone. I just want our phone replaced since I paid $150 for insurance. He said he couldn't do that and the insurance company would replace the phone for a additional $175. I said that I just wanted my $150 back, he said that wasn't a option because they gave the $150 to the insurance company. The insurance company wasn't helpful. My issue is according to Verizon, we don't even have insurance on the iPhone 5.We are a military family as is many of the patrons of this store and community. If we moved we wouldn't even be able to track this "insurance" and the store clearly is misleading customers!Desired Settlement: I want the $150 I paid for "Insurance" refunded. They misled us and I am sure they misled many other military families who have moved and are unable to even locate this "Insurance" The "Insurance" company was sold, and now another insurance company has it and they aren't helpful. Everyone keeps passing along the fault and the fact is the store misled us, sold us insurance without clarifying that it wasn't the same insurance we have on our other phone, and has no remorse or resposibility.

Review: I paid $379.99 for a phone I can't activate, the phone is not what the rep said it was. Address for location[redacted]Samsung i800 Galaxy Tablet.I was not told it was a 3G device. There was not even an line for the device added to my plan. I have contacted [redacted] wireless two different times, last night and this morning. I need instructions as to how to return the devices and have my cash refunded.I am an over the road truck driver, I will be locked into my truck for the next two weeks thus voiding the return policy if I can't get it returned with in 14 days, it is extremely difficult to park a 53 foot trailer any where near a [redacted] store. Yesterday was my only shot at getting a new phone added and the rep in talking with me knew that, as well as more than likely he wouldn't see me return at that location.I am shocked that I was lied to and deceived, into buying a device under those circumstances while their rep knew full well that I being taken advantage of. He even jokingly said he didn't rip people off. He sold me a three year phone for the same price he should have charged me for a brand new phone.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of of purchase price.
