New to the StPete area I contacted several Shutter Makers/RetailersMost if they turned up were flying by the seat of their pants; guessed prices, junky samples, promises which never appeared on paper

The small showroom led into the plant were the shutters are built from scratchMargaret walked me around and employees when asked stopped their machine and explained the part or feature for which they were responsible
Margaret was never flustered when pestered for an earlier delivery dateWhen the time for the install came she competently and with good humor solved the little problems that cropped up
The shutters are now installed, painted by West Coast to match the existing trimPerfect fit and beautiful to look atComprehensive care instructions and details on adjustments were given by the installers who were obviously proud of the product and their workTo top it off, since we were told somebody always falls into the shutters and so spare blades were left in readiness!
Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, a beautiful product with exceptional fit and finish

We recently bought a new home in a Tampa area retirement community and wanted to install plantation shutters throughout Our first contact with West Coast Shutters was at a home show in StPetersburg We decided to visit their factory location and were very impressed They gave us a full tour of the facility and the owner spoke with pride about their work He even demonstrated some of the tools of the trade The quality of their product was quite evident and the quote for what we wanted was reasonable, so it was an easy decision to sign an order
Since our home was still under construction, we had to delay the actual manufacture, but West Coast Shutters kept in close touch and we were able to get our windows measured as soon as the drywall and window sills were installed After settlement, we scheduled installation and two guys came out at the appointed time Everything went smoothly and we are extremely pleased

I have been looking to replace blinds wilth shutters for years. Have been going to home shows and evualating the different offering. Finally decided on West coast after having three other estimates. I like the fact that the shutters are and the opening and closing mechanism is not visible in the room. also, I can open either the bottom top or hole shutter as I wish.
