Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 11, 2015/09/18) */ We will provide a refund to the bankA check will be issued next week and may take another week to be credited to the account We apologize for the miscommunication

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me That's fine but incorrectThey told me they had the title several times and was a different story each timeOn the title, it was supposed to be in my son's name but they put it in mine in errorWhen I found out I was given a fraudulent title, I told them to make sure the new title was put in my son's nameWhen the title person called I verified that the title was put in his nameShe said it wasn'tIt was put in the way it had been beforeI informed her [redacted] ***, the finance mgr, assured me the title would be correctShe then scratched out my name and wrote his inAs long as the DMV accepts it like it is and this is the real title this time, this problem is mostly resolvedI will see how they handle the extended warranty and see how it goes from thereThank you for your help Sincerely, [redacted]

Tell us why here[redacted] , Sales Manager, spoke with Ms [redacted] and discussed her concerns with her purchase of the GMC AcadiaHe explained that we do an extensive inspection on every preowned vehicle and the CV axle problem was not diagnosed upon our original inspection therefore we could have never known that there was a problemHe also went over the policy on all vehicles that exceed 100,miles and reiterated the fact that the price of the vehicle had no bearing on said coverage or policyShe admitted that they were just frustrated and had a different understanding of the policy but feel more comfortable with the situation now that there is a clear understanding of our policyMs [redacted] thanked [redacted] for the explanation and seems to be satisfied

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This dealership is outright lying that I did not tell them to include my sales taxI told both my salesperson, ***, and my finance manager [redacted] ***, the General Sales Manager, is the individual who hung up the phone when I returned his voicemail, after telling me to take care of the situation myselfThe fact that they are doing this again, from what I can see in the reviews for this dealership it is far from the first occurrence, is absolutely horrendousIt is absurd that a simple, stated request like including sales tax would not only be ignored at time of purchase, but would then not be correctedThe finance manager also overcharged me the state limit for a temp tag, which I told him about while in his office and he continued with the same price anywayThis dealership is blatantly breaking the law without correction and I am astounded at its belligerenceNonetheless, I will proceed no further as it will do no goodThey have done this before and will continue to do so Kind regards, [redacted] ***

This customer was told that the Auto Butler procedures were performed Monday thru Friday by appointment if she wanted to do it without an appointment she could but would have to leave it all day and it would be worked inWe also told her that if she wanted to do it on a Saturday she could but she would have to drop it off and we will call her when it was finishedThe auto Butler process takes to hours depending on how dirty the vehicle is and that is why the appointments are limited

The customer has a copy of the repair order that was performed on the vehicle before they purchased itThe RO states that we replaced the tpms sensors on the car not the tires

Complaint: [redacted] I reject based on the information below and the remedy I am remedy I am seeking: I went up there 11-30-and they did remove the warranty but told me they could not remove the GAP policy as this is a condition to get the loan This is would apply if I were leasing the car but cannot be required as a condition for financing a purchase(Missouri revised statutes Chapter 375) The root of the entire issue derives from the fact that the vehicle was advertised on the internet at 7, They added a hidden fee of This is a misrepresentation according the Mo merchandising act The only reason GAP would be a consideration is due to the hidden fee (599.00), the added warranty (1200), and the GAP policy (800) being folded into the loan and therefore causing the vehicle loan to be in an upside-down financed position - which they createdWithout these fees GAP is totally worthless Here is how it should have worked: Vehicle internet (Car Gurus) advertised price I had a traof and placed a down payment of This leaves a finance balance of approxThe sales person told me over and over that they can’t finance less than 6K and proceeded to add hidden fees and apply unneeded insurance and warranty in order to inflate the loan and then claimed I needed GAP I want both the GAP and the hidden fee removed from my loan and readjusted to reflect the sale price of with no hidden fees and no GAP or Warranty coverages and the loan re-financed with the proper payment adjusted reflecting approx finance (I do understand the small admin fees that were applied 10.00) If above conditions cannot be met – I request to return the vehicle and I will go elsewhere with a really bad memory of West County Honda If they are unwilling to accept the vehicle return, I will contact the state attorney general and file a formal complaint under the Mo merchandising act Today I will contact them as indicated in response and seek restitution indicated above If terms are met I will be satisfied If not I will proceed as outlined Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: as stated in my original complaint, I was given bad information by the finance manager about having to pay sales tax in Illinois which is why I had to return to the dealership to have a new contract written only after unsuccessfully attempting to get the car registered after a month had passed with no word from West County Honda concerning registration In the end I still feel scammed into purchasing a car for much more than I had originally agreed to pay I feel that I was not given a fair deal and then was not treated well throughout this ordeal When I requested proof of ownership I was sent by email the front side of a title that did not even have my name on it I was not sent the back side of the title where my name should have been after purchasing All that I wanted was proof of ownership so that if I was pulled over by police for any reason (such as the dealer plates that don't belong to me) that I could prove that the car belonged to me I feel that West County Honda was dishonest with me from the moment I walked through their door I informed the controller at West County Honda that I will return their dealer plate when I receive the registration paperwork in the mail from the state, which I still have not receivedToday is July I believe that if West County Honda wants to build a good reputation that they should accept responsibility for a deal that went wrong on their end and should allow me to return the car for a full refund Sincerely, [redacted]

Enclosed are the documentations showing the the Sales tax was never part of her dealThe customer is a Finance Manager with another dealership, and fully aware of how loans are processed in the state of MissouriWe've told the customer that we can't recontact her and if she wants her sales tax in her loan to reach out to her bank and have them recontact her loan

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I an rejecting this response because the salesman [redacted] used that invoice showed me the numbers and as matter of fact he told me that this was a invoice, that there were new tires put on vehicleeven if he made a mistake he lied to me salesmen are slick not everyone reads every word he showed me the bottom number and told me it was a receipt for new tiresperiodwhat car dealership big or small leave over 10year tires on vehicle thank you Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: the owner, I assume, did due diligence when he purchased West County Honda and was aware of both the assets and liabilities he accepted with the transaction. I do not believe he can summarily dismiss an obligation blaming the prior ownership for transgressions over which I had no knowledge, responsibility, or control. While cherry picking the previous owner's commitments to "dump" the coupon booklet may enhance his bottom line, it is at the expense of mine. Nor does calling the coupon booklet that I accepted in good faith a "fake" make it an illegal or a shady deal that I participated inI explained why I continued with the oil-filter-rotation in my original Revdex.com note and still am not complaining about the service or the cost, as the owner suggests. Rather than quarreling with the service writer, who had no choice in his rejection of the coupon, my decision was to contact the general manager to request a review of the issue. I do not appreciate the owner's of my contact by saying "...but he will pay for all oil changes and maintenance going forward." I believe I understood his position clearly in the general manager's telephone call response. I still desire that the coupon for the service work be honored either in a refund or service department credit for future work
Sincerely,
*** ***

We're sorry the customer feels this wayThe dealership provided him with all the information we had about the vehicle at the time of deliveryWe did offer the customer to replace the tires at our cost

The customer had her service performed on 11/9/There's no record that the customer ever notified us of their problemWe'd be happy to look into for her, just need a copy of her invoice from the repair shop that fixed her car

Mr *** wasn't charges anything for turning in his lease early to usThe outstanding charge on his *** *** *** account is for the personal property tax that was due since he owed the Pilot on 1/2/The $would've been charged to him regardlessWest County Honda has
nothing to do with the personal property tax that is billed to the customer from the state of Missouri

The breakdown here was the communication between the customer and the dealership Ms*** claims she presented an offer that we had accepted Our position is that her offer was not accepted We countered with a small adjustment, to which she agreed At that point, we
suggested she complete a credit application as part of the transaction process, as it was our understanding we had reached agreeable terms After the fact, Ms*** claimed she was entitled to more of a savings Again, we had not agreed to her perception of her offer Our understanding was and remains that she had agreed to our counter offer Therein lies the rub Ms*** and I spoke and she expressed her concern I explained that I would speak to the staff, as there are two sides to most disputes Consequently, I attempted to call her two times Neither time was she available Based on the counter offer we presented, prior to the credit application process, was overtly favorable for the customer The margin, or lack thereof, was one we typically choose not to offer My guess is Ms*** was unable to secure a comparable offer from the other area Honda dealerships, and that's why she is continuing to pursue a transaction with West County Honda If the customer wants to take ownership of the vehicle in question at our last counter offer, as we perceive it, we'd be happy to honor that If that works, she is to contact *** ***, Sales Manager, ***, and he will review the numbers with Ms***, and we can all move forward If not, we understand. Sincerely, *** ***, General Manager, West County Honda

See attachmentThe *** report that was signed by the customer at delivery shows no damage on the reportWe only use *** not ***

I'm sorry the the customer feels this way, I respect his opinion but this matter is closed as far as WCH is concernedThe customer will pay for all future service's if performed at WCH.*** ***

The dealership has fulfilled any and all obligations in regards to Mr***'s purchaseIf he has any other questions about his title/registration he can call *** *** office at ***I contacted J&J today and was able to get a copy of his vehicle registration that they will be mailing to himSee attachment
