WBG helped me so much as it was confusing on how to start paying for my loans at a lower rate because of Public ServiceTHANK YOU SO MUCH!

I had a negative experience with this agencyI was contacted in regards to my Student Loan debtAfter the initial phone screening I was told I qualified for a plan called the Income Driven Repayment Plan at $a month but I needed to pay the enrollment fee of $After reading and signing all of the paperwork, they split up my enrollment fee into paymentsDuring this time they consolidated my student loans as well as submitted an application to Educatio*** for the Income Driven Repayment PlanIt was after the $was paid that I began having issues and noticing that I was getting emails from the entity who had my loan about a denial of my applicationEven with the denial they still began taking the $a monthI received one approval for the Income Driven Repayment plan stating my payment was over $a monthAfter complaining to Western Benefits Group they resubmitted my application more times and all times there was an IssueThey listed my household size wrong for one, They listed my income wrong for another and my Income was lost or not readable for the thirdI soon had to contact my loan servicer and go over the application on my own via phone correcting their errors and found out that I was approved for $a month payment for my student loansSo what was the $35? It was explained to me by Western Benefits Group that the $a month would be for years and then drop to $a month for years for a total of payments at which point the remainder of my student loans would be forgivenThis was a lieThe $a month I later found out by a different rep at the same company was for benefits such as pet care, online farmers marker, identity theft protection, road side assistance...etcThis all sounds very good except for the fact that I did not ask for the benefits nor was I given the opportunity to accept or deny those benefitsSo the $a month was not going towards my student loans what so everMind you this is the first time I have ever had students loans so I thought this was all ok and a good way of paying my loans backBut after all of this, I found out that I could consolidate my own loans and apply for the Income Driven Repayment Plan all on my own and that there was not an enrollment feeIt was freeSo I am out that $and the few $payments that they took all for nothing because I ended up having to complete my own application and get my own payment plan with my loan servicerI know it might be my own fault for getting involved in this but like any human being I feel I was taken advantage ofI struggled with buying groceries and necessities for myself and my children while trying to pay them all of that money that I could have used for groceries and billsI am embarresed

We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention, and as conveyed to you on June 29th via email by [redacted], our customer care representative, we have fulfilled your request to no longer be contacted by Western Benefits Group and extend our sincerest apologies again for the apparent confusion.  Specifically, we have contacted all parties involved and have placed your number on our internal Do-Not-Call lists to assure that you will no longer be contacted by us or any referral agent.  To clarify, however, WBG does not conduct any outbound calling and only contacts individuals who have expressly inquired about member benefit services such as student debt/loan servicing.  I must reiterate that your complaint was a case of mistaken identity.  That said, if there is anything further we can do for you please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at either [redacted] or [redacted].  We hope this satisfies your request.

Hi, my name is [redacted] and today I filed a complaint with you on western benefit group. I was contacted and the complaint should not have been put on wbg but on the outside agency that I spoke to. The agents name was [redacted] he was with the referral company [redacted]...

address is [redacted]. The agent did not explain everything clearly, and I have received verbal affirmation that I will be refunded my money in full for the miscommunication. I did not realize that it was not a direct agent with wbg, but an outside agent that is no longer working for that company.  Please confirm that you have received this message. Thank you for your time.

Everybody I spoke with was very helpful and courteous, finding the right program for me and answering questions readily. I am happy I am working with this company to get my finances in order. Thank you!

It's been a huge weight off my shoulders knowing WBG has helped me with my student loans and made them affordable for me. IT has also given me the chance to get back on my feet. Thank you WBG>

WBG is there for me! They took their time to understand my situation and created a plan that I could afford. My agent was very detailed and made sure to answer all of my questions. He was personable, down to earth, and genuinely wanted to help. Thank you WBG, I couldn't be happier with my outcome.

WBG has been so helpful and willing to help me find ways to lower my student loan payments in my financial state. They know exactly what they are doing. I am SO thankful for WBG; they are saving me hundreds of dollars every month.

I have reached out to [redacted] and confirmed that she has received a full refund and feels that the complaint #[redacted] was resolved in a satisfactory matter.

I recently had been stressed on the amount of student loans I owed. It felt like I could never come back on top. I finally searched online for the Student Loan Forgiveness Program and ended calling the number on studentloanease.org and came into contact with WBG> That day when I contacted them, I spent 3 hours working with my counselor from WBG. He never showed frustration, explained every step, and made the process way easier than if I did it myself. So happy I found them and recommending them to friends.
