I have been trying to close out an fraudulent account since a week that AT&T without my authorization has transferred to my nameAT&T does not want to take responsibility for their error and are holding me responsible for dues on a number that I never authorized or have any knowledge aboutFurthermore, they are accusing me of lying about the fraudulent account, so they don't have to deal with it

Dear AT&T, I have been an AT&T customer consistently since the mid-80's We moved last year and had to change our phone number if we stayed with AT&T phone service and because we wanted to keep our old number, we just kept Internet service after the move Prior to the move, we had Internet service and phone service with A&T for years with the same number I have never received such poor customer account handling as I have the past months I forgot to pay a bill last November, and when I received the next bill, I paid both months and the late payment fee In January I received a $charge for "Restoral Fee" When I called up asking to cancel our service, the fee was removed, but I don't feel I should have been charged that for being late with one payment And the fact it was charged months later makes me feel as if it was charged in the hopes I wouldn't notice Because DSL is just offered in our neighborhood and I couldn't be told if UVerse would ever be available, we have switched to Cox Internet I canceled our AT&T service on May 9th I received a bill dated June 5th for the entire month of June for $ I called customer service on June 16th and spoke with Vina and she said I would receive an adjusted bill in July and I should wait for that bill to make my payment And that I would not be charged late fees because I have cancelled my service I feel like AT&T was just trying to get another full payment from me I guess you need the you probably would have earned in interest from the $some dollars you would later have to pay me back I think good customer service and fair billing would be worth more than that On July 14, I received a revised bill from AT&T for $dated July 5th with a due date of July 27th On this SAME day I received a letter from AT&T Credit and Collections dated July 9th wondering if I've overlooked the bill and please pay immediately On July 15th around 10:AM Central time, I called the customer care line at 800-288-to complain about this collections letter I was told by the agent that this was due to not paying the bill in June and before I could explain that I had called, she told me I needed to speak to a billing agent at 800-288-(the number I just called was on hold for some time so she could review my bill) and then SHE HUNG UP ON ME I paid you your $by July 27th And I will never use AT&T again unless I hear that their customer service has been tremendously improved On July 27th my neighbor explained that all the utility flags in our neighborhood is because AT&T is getting ready to install uVerse Maybe if you had told me this was coming when I asked in the spring, this annoyance could have all been avoided Your loss

I have been an at&t customer for over years and as of lately (yrs) my experience has been hair raising!!! 8/2/I called at&t because of robo calls stating that I owe I have ALWAYS PAID my bill and TIMELY please check my recordsYesterday I spoke with agents and neither could help me I was transferred repeatedly incorrectly to agents that could not assist me I changed my phone service to Plan Old Telephone Service at the beginning of the year and as of this day, I have not received a correct bill amount I have had to continuously call at&t each month for my correct billing payment amount This is very frustratingI have spoken with supervisors and they have assure me my bill would be correct only to find that once I received my bill its not accurate Please listen to the history of my calls, the proof is there Yesterday I finally broke into tears, begging for someone to help me, only to be transferred to a number that was no longer in serviceI am again begging for someone to look into my history and you will see the terrible experience I have endured My current situation is this fee of of which I do not understand because I paid what the supervisor asked me to submit I do not understand, how is it that the agents talk a good game and convince you that your situation has been resolved only to receive the bill and it is still incorrect It is like pulling hair to get to speak with a supervisor I live in the US why am I speaking to agents in others countries to help me with my issues They do not speak good English When asked to speak with an American, you get disconnected or transferred again to someone who cannot help This has been my experience for over the past years Your company is to big for this type of customer service Your buying up everyone, leaving us no choice but to come through you....AT LEAST YOU COULD MAKE SURE WE AS CUSTOMERS ARE HEARD AND GET THE SERVICE DESERVED Again I beg of someone to just take a listen to my calls, I have worked in customer for over years, I know how this thing works I review our agents on everything and trust this type of service would not fly at our company Contact Me Pleaseif no answer please leave me a number other than that so that I can speak with someone who cares PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE....Someone NEEDS to hear me I am OF YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS but I don't know how much more I can take

I would like the Revdex.com to start a real review of A T and T We have had this service for more then years and each year I am calling to get my bill fixed I go over the bill and come to a fixed amount for the year and within a few months the bill goes up so I call backMy daughter who has the same program as I do calles too, but she is not as treated as well as I am Because my husband and I are in our late 60s I always bring that up At this time I am paying about $a month and my daughter is paying about $ We have the same program in everywayIf the Revdex.com is not looking into this company you sure should be This is a make up the bill and they want to group and we are about to drop themBut, I feel that there are many people who need refunds for the way this company works

Spent over an hour on the chat feature, asking a simple question about a billThey continued to tell me I was in the wrong 'department', shuffled me around and then ended the chatCalling is not much betterThey have the WORST customer service

I switched to AT&T under the assumption (based on their phony advertisement) that I could get buy one, get one free phones for my wife and I, plus enough in credit to cover the remaining cost on my wife's phone from our previous carrier I spoke to a representative over the phone, as they were "offering" the best deals at the time The representative on the phone explained that, as long as my wife and I got the same phone, one phone would be free by means of monthly bill credit Additionally, when I explained that my wife still owed approximately $on her phone, and that it was in excellent condition, the representative stated that AT&T would provide the value of her phone in bill credits, and the remaining amount would come via gift card, once I submitted a final bill and sent in her old phone Once we started service and received the new phones, we sent in my wife's old phone using the online submission tool and a prepaid shipping label provided through the online submission service Fast forward approximately 1/months After a few billing cycles, I noticed that my bill was coming in higher than expected After review, I noticed that I was not getting full credit for the monthly payment of the one phone When I called to inquire, I was told that the "free" phone was only up to a value of $ Yet, when I ordered the phones, the customer service rep knew that I was ordering phones over that value, and declined to tell me that it would not be free Strike one Then, a few weeks later, I decided to check on the status of my traded in phone that was sent in almost months ago I was transferred to AT&T's 3rd party traservice The service said that they had not received my phone and had no way to track their pre-paid shipping label Strike two and three I spent many hours on the phone with AT&T, with no resolution Twice, I was told that this issue had occurred before, and the customer service had to check into how to resolve the issue and get back to me, but the calls were never returned I went into the store, no luck It literally took my wife's comments addressed to AT&T on [redacted] for someone to finally start actually doing something However, this is where things got more convoluted This representative accused my account of, at one time, being past due Yet, over the course of two billing cycles, I never made a late payment She said that since this was the case, I didn't qualify for the traprogram That still didn't answer where my phone was Then, she also claimed that our phone was likely broken, so it wouldn't qualify This was based on an accusation that someone called from my number before starting service and asking if broken phones could be traded in I was flabbergasted It was like they were trying to find any reason to not give me credit for my traded in phone, or to find out where the phone was I had had enough at this point, and I gladly switched back to my old carrier I am unfortunately out ~$due to AT&T losing my wife's old phone, but I wanted out of that mess so bad, I ran as fast as I could to a better customer-serving company with some integrity I would never recommend AT&T and their terrible customer service to anyone

Att&t you are not the business you use to be.Had Att for years.A couple of years ago starting having trouble with internet,After modems house calls.I was finally told that because I live in a rural area that internet business had grown out here.My internet got slow.U verse didn't help.When theres no gate way now no phone.I kelp up with the times u verse went down on the calendar.I as for the corpoffice address these people didn't know who the CEO was.Now I am battling about final bill.The Bill was in my dead husbands name until I switch to u verse they owe me$dollars from that bill.Thats has been a year

I have not been given credit for bill paid and my uverse bill is NOT the price I was quotedI have been lied to and cannot even call long distance from my house at the moment! A recording tells me to try again later!!!

I just had the experience of a hour call with an AT&T Rep, "Dana" who took very long pauses every time we spoke and we had a lot of issues to cover since the bill had many errorsI was fine with her taking her time, but then her shift ended and she transferred me to her supervisor, "Tammy," just as everything had reached the point of resolutionTammy then asked me to rehash everything, so I explained to her what Dana and I had discussedTammy then said she was just going to "check something," and she hung up on me! I then called back and the Rep who answered, Nick, said there was no record of a Dana nor Tammy having spoken with me - even though I had asked them to spell their names and taken their employee ID #s! He said he saw a record of a call with PiaWhatever the names of the female reps are, neither of them called me backFour hours of my lifegoneVery disappointed

At&t has came a scan, messing with Americans here that have At&t, they lied, to me and cheating me on my bill double billing me, China owned once At&t and was brought to Federal court now they are doing it again to ussince they bought it back., am paying now $just for phone and slow internetI was paying for all $a month for both Paget deal including fast internet I played times up grade itone day my friend talk me into u Verse witch was a night mare .they down grated on internet and charged me for fast internet which I was always paying forI bereave it was a good play I was on and once on u verse and going back they sock it to me in price which they already planed this way they can double there moneyThis is America and you badly treat us we will take you to federal courtyou owe me month in advance give me back double charge in internetNow I have to look around for another companyOH there employee threaten me and my friend also because we would knot give him are credit card numbers and soc numbers or he will turn off are services which we had for fifty yearscalled and written CEO and straighten mess out and month later this is what they do to up and I cant have DSL like I did have before no longer have DSL but they abertise it well knot in are area I was told I ask what area do you He didn't know? doom Mrs [redacted] Fontana Ca

The absolute worst company I have ever had to deal withWe had both business landlines and home internet service with them and I have absolutely nothing good to say about this company at allRegarding my home internet service, they came out and dropped an internet line to the house and ran it up the middle of my drivewayThey did such a horrible job that my driveway was impassable!! I called and they gave me a complaint number and said someone would call me and they would come out and fix my drivewayAfter repeated calls, they never came out to fix it and we had to fix it ourselvesAfter all of the destruction they did to my driveway the line was visibly sticking out of the ground all the way up to the house When we first went to AT&T business landlines, the porting of the lines was messed up so badly that our business was without phones for daysThen, after years as a customer, they cut off our business phones after not receiving our payment, which showed cleared at the bankNo heads up or anything, just cut off our business phonesAny fool could have seen that we never made a late payment before and according to them it was only a few weeks late! According to the bank, they cashed the checkLater, we went to an internet based service so we ported all of our numbers over except line that we kept for fax and credit cardI had to call these mns every single month without fail because they kept billing us for all of the lines that were ported overI should send them a bill for all of the time I spent on the phone with these mnMonth after month they kept billing us for all of the numbersI can't count the number of times that they told me it had been taken care of When they finally (after almost a year) got the other numbers taken off the bill, they began to bill me for land line when I had been told that it would be I had to make the dreaded call again, knowing they were going to screw it up againThe lady changed it to and told me not to pay the bill, since they now owed us moneyShe said it would be reflected properly on the next billdays after the bill that they told me not to pay was due, they disconnected the fax/credit card lineI called and the first mn I spoke to told me they had not disconnected the line but that I had to pay the bill now or they would disconnect it and it would take days to get it turned back onShe repeatedly told me the fax line was not disconnectedI got irritated and hung upI called back and got someone else who told me that they had indeed disconnected the line but could not tell me why they would have disconnected it in such a short amount of timeShe also told me she couldn't fathom why the first mn told me they had not disconnected it and that under no circumstances does it take days to turn back onI can't wait until next month when the bill comesI know it will not be correct and I know I will have to call them back and waste more company time dealing with these mnIn the meantime I am looking for another landline providerOnce that is said and done, I am sure it will take another months for them to stop billing me This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt withIt's fine to make mistakes occasionally, but these people NEVER get it right and I am convinced that they DO NOT CARE! Their sales tactics are also exceedingly shady!!! Do yourself a favor and do not use this companyThey are worthless in every single aspectIf anyone ever begins a class action suit against AT&T, count me in! AT&T is horrible they don't care how loyal you been I've been loyal since they have horrible customer service they don't work with you in anyway they just tell you there's nothing they can do their website is horrible never works there iPhone app is absolutely horrible they give you Sy Apple phones that only works for a year and don't warrantee them and when you buy a warranty through AT&T you still have to pay $for anything that happens to your device it covers nothing like cracked screen falling in the water anything like that etcthey don't work with you or help you in anyway the worse company in the world

My mother passed away recently and I was trying to cancel her service and return the equipment The process of even getting a person on the phone was such a hassle, minutes before a human could be reached The representatives were impatient, rude and unkind, given the circumstance I was in I could have just let the bills lapse and throw away the equipment, she has no estate or assets to settle debts I was trying to do the right thing and they made it very difficult and stressful

What I nightmare it is to deal with this place! The customer service is terrible! I just called to pay my bill (keep in mind I am calling to PAY THEM) and the automated service would not recognize my card numberI entered it twice and then tried speaking itThis didnt work so they transferred me to a customer service repThis customer service REP then placed me on holdShe finally came back and told me I would need to Pay $to pay my bill because I needed a customer service repIM SUPPOSE TO PAY THEM BECAUSE THEY INCONVENIENCED ME!!!!! I asked to speak to a manager and she told me the same thing, either pay them $or go online This despicable company refuses to let me pay my bill without charging me, There customer service reps , and managers cannot help a customer who is trying to pay them for servicesIts down right ridiculous!!!!! I told the manager that I will cancel my services when my contract is up, and she said " Ok have a nice day" and hung up on meWhat a terrible way to be treated!!!! I will cancel my services the very day my contract is upHORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!

Every month autopay date is changed and I have to call and change itThe payment amount is different too every monthI explain to customer rep that I receive disablility and I don't receive it until the second week of every monthI signed up for the service on the 16th of May, That should have been my due dateI am feed up with calling every month because AT&T wants to take money out of my account on the date that they feel like they want to be paidThat doesn't work for meWhen Social Security dicide to pay me on the first of every month then and only then will what ATT wants to do will work

I am writing this because of your terrible customer serviceMy AT&T U-Verse internet was disconnected days ago on FridayYour technical support said "we don't have technicians on weekendPlease wait till Monday"!!! This is how your 24/support works?! A big company like you shouldn't have enough technicians on weekends?! We have to wait!? You wanted to schedule a technician on Monday 5pmI told you that your time slots doesn't work for me, because I work till 6pmPlease send technician after 6pmYou agreed! you put a note on my account for Monday 7pm Monday 5pm, your technician called me and said because you are not at home you need to reschedule it! This is complelety unacceptableI do cancel this crazy service that you are providing

My husband and I have had at&t wireless service for years with the same phone numbersHis is the main number on our accountOver the past month I have received text messages on my phone saying someone will be at my house to install dish and uverse service We did not order these servicesI contacted at&t, gave them my number, and the representative pulled up another accountI tried to explain that the person gave them the wrong phone number To no avail I have tried several times to correct this I cannot pay our bill from my phone because I would be paying on someone else's accountI am at my wits end dealing with at&t on this matter

I was a loyal AT&T U-Verse customer for several years, and we loved everything about U--Verse EXCEPT for its ridiculous pricing practices! You must fight for every rate adjustment! Every year, whatever "promotion" you received is canceled without any warning, and you receive a bill as much as 30% higher than you've been paying! You cannot get away from paying that one month's higher bill! You have to call and cajole someone into offering you a new "promotion" for the following year My most recent bill went up by 30%, and the three different customer service repsI spoke with could not offer me any promotions, so I canceledThey acted as if they could care less what my situation wasI am retired and living on a fixed budget and cannot afford an increase of $a month to watch TVI remember when TV was free and "Pay TV" came along with promises of "commercial free TV" for a small monthly fee! What a joke compared with how far we've come with Cable Companies!

AT&T Wireless held my phone hostage even though I owed them no fees As a result, I had not ability to make or receive phone calls with my new carrier This hurt and posed risk to my pregnant wife and two kids, as well as to the people that work for me
