Review: I had my car serviced on 3/**/15 for an oil change. The service building is about 1 mile away from the sales building. On 3/**/15 at 6:36 PM, I received a call from this same company. The woman started out asking how my service went and making sure everything went ok. Then she started asking me about my vehicle. She started asking about personal financial details about my vehicle and making false assumptions regarding the financial situation regarding my vehicle. Then she gave me a sales pitch to switch my vehicle to a newer more expensive vehicle. Then she asked me if I was interested in getting rid of my vehicle and purchasing a brand new, more expensive vehicle from her. When I said no, she immediately hung up the phone.

My number is on the do not call list. I thought I was being followed up on my service. Instead, this was a bait and switch to force me to trade in my vehicle which is in perfectly running condition. Lastly and most importantly, this sales woman was downright rude, inconsiderate, made false assumptions without any basis, intrusive and disgusting.Desired Settlement: I would like a written apology as well as the name of this saleswoman to make sure she never calls me again.

I would like to be permanently removed from your calling lists for any sales related intentions-------FOREVER!

I would like a refund of 37.88 for my service or a voucher for a free service on my next visit to any Honda Service Center in the United States.

I will be investigating if your company will be fined for violating my "DO NOT CALL" rights!

Sincerely,

I'm in the market for a used Honda Accord. Between multiple phone calls as well as emails the sales person ASSURED me that a 2008 Honda Accord, black, 96k miles, loaded, for $7,500,,, was available. This morning I woke up early n traveled one hour to said dealer.

Once on scene I was treated like a child and was giving the fake handshake and rehearsed greeting.

To no surprise the Honda Accord was not there. Story I was told was that the Accord was sent off to auction due to having various mechanical issues.

I believe it was a bait n switch scam. The manager then tried to sell me a car for $13,000, which is $5,000 over my budget.

I am writing your agency requesting you investigate the White Plains Honda used car dealer.

If you check the [redacted] reviews on said dealer you'll see many similar reviews.

Thank you

Review: This is a continuation of complaint [redacted]. We have never done business with White Plains Honda. We have never even been to White Plains nor have we ever owned a Honda. Despite our repeatedly telling them that they have the wrong number, they continue to call us. As a resolution to our last complaint, White Plains Honda stated that they had removed our phone number from their database. Apparently this was a lie as we have just received yet another phone call from them about service on a vehicle we do not own. It should not be this difficult to get them to stop calling us about a vehicle we do not own. We have also filed multiple complaints with the Do-Not-Call Registry as they violate that law each and every time they call us. When I called to speak to a manager, they were conveniently "unavailable".Desired Settlement: Stop calling us. Stop having your contractors call us. Stop thinking about us. Remove our phone number (###-###-####) from your database and never call us again.

Sincerely,

Review: I found a 2011 Honda Civic on Autotrader for $8,000 and talked to the dealership, gave them my credit card for a deposit and then paid over $400 in travel costs to fly up the next day to get the Civic; including having one of the "very nice" sales associates to pick me up at the airport.

However, once I sat down to print out the ad from Autotrader the price changed from $8,000 to $14,000. This was obviously not what was agreed to with the dealership or my bank. And had I not already made travel plans with Priceline.com, I would just walk away.

I tried reaching out to the GM of the dealership, and they offered me a much older (2005) vehicle for the same price which I am not interested in.

I asked if they could just reimburse me for my expenses or give me a civic at their true cost and even offered to pay an additional $1,000 if that helped.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for my paid travel expenses and an apology for all the time I invested in trying to purchase a used Honda Civic from them.i

Sincerely,

Review: I've bought Honda Civic 2012 model from White Plains Honda in White Plains NY on 10/**/13. When I filled and signed all the paperwork, I was promised to have my license plates withing a month of purchase date. In the mean time I was given temporary plates that had an expiration date of 11/**/13. Two weeks past and I was given a call that they don't know how to file a registration form for me because I did not do financing through Honda Finance. I asked them to contact Bank of America as that is where I got a vehicle loan for which I gave a check to White Plains Honda. A week prior to temporary plates expiring I made an inquiry call to White Plains Honda and asked what is the status. I was told that they just filed the forms for the plates. Since it was getting so close to the expiration date and they just filed the forms, I asked to extend the temporary plates. I was told it is not necessary as I will have the proper plates by the end of that week. It is 12/**/13 now and the temporary plates have expired 2 weeks ago. I still have yet to get a single phone call from White Plains Honda regarding status on the plates and nothing in the mail. I have made another call to White Plains Honda regarding these plates. I was transferred 5 times between people before I was given a person who actually deals with it. Once I was given a representative that actually works on registration, the woman asked me to hold and she will find out what is going on. Since it was taking her longer than she was expecting, she asked if she could call me in 5 minutes. Half an hour later, there was still no call from her. I called myself again and was told that she is currently on the phone with DMV regarding the registration.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the registration and plates for my car in timely fashion and be able to actually drive my car. It has been over 2 weeks as the temporary plates have been expired and I was unable to utilize the vehicle due to possible car being pounded for not having proper plates and registration. I would like the head company to address the how their dealer is treating the consumers and provides the services. It is not acceptable to promise something if you are not capable to meet the deadline you have placed yourself.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and I am happy to see that you are reviewing the case.

I would like to inform you that I have received my license plates after the calls I have made on 12/**/13.

However, it is still would be nice if the issue can be addressed with Honda regarding their service. I can not believe that it would be acceptable for any company that has such high regards to fail so bad in simple manner as communicate with the consumer and provide the service that they have promised to that consumer.

Sincerely,

Review: On 12/**/2013, I leased a 2013 CRV at White Plains Honda (sales person: [redacted]).

I did not realized White Plains Honda charged me with unfair market price for sentinel maintenance program when I leased it. Under the contract, White Plains Honda charged me $2,400 oil change program in 3 years, which is completely erroneous amount compare to all other Honda dealers. I asked to most of Honda dealers about my amount, all of them replied that the average cost for 3 year sentinel maintenance program is $700 – this means White Plains Honda charged me $1,700 over than other Honda dealers.

However, I called Honda Care to cancel this program, and they refunded me $1,097.00.

Additionally, I was paying $581.16 for 20 month, until July 2014, and 28 month left that makes the total leasing amount $27,888.00. When I purchased 2013 CR-V in White Plains Honda, I paid $6,821.19 for due at signing.

All the amount that White Plains Honda calculated is been bothers me all the time. I tried to come up with the amount of $581.16 every month but I do not understand how White Plains Honda charge me $581.16

I’ve been called and mailed to White Plains Honda about a few month now, first letter sent out on 08/**/2014, they didn’t even contact me at all. [redacted] is not trying to solve my letter and I do not want to contact them anymore. I do not deserved proper treatment as customer from this dealer not only the money but also trusting the name of Honda.

I would appreciate money back of difference they unfairly charged me.Desired Settlement: Refund

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in re ference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here]I talked to [redacted] from White Plains Honda and am notaccepting their response. In Closed-End Vehicle Lease Agreement form, the value of thevehicle is $34,722.00 (MSRP is $29,525)Before I trade-in into another car, 28 month left on CR-Vand left leasing total was $27,888.00. I paid $581.16 per month for 20 monthwhich is the total $11,623.20. Paid for 20 month is $11,623.20 and left 28 month is$27,888.00 so the total monthly payment is $39,511.20 if I paid for 47 monthbut in Lease Agreement said total monthly payment is $27,895.68. Monthlypayment of $39,511.20 ($11,623.20 + $27,888) plus down payment $6,821.19, the car value $46,332.39which is $11,610.39 over than the actual car value. However, after 20 month payment of $581.16, total due at endwas $34,135.71 and after 47 month pay off amount is $29,647.87. White Plains Honda said the amount difference is because ofthe interest, but I don’t think interest is way over higher than cancelling theterm before it ends.

Review: We have never done business with White Plains Honda yet they continually call us to schedule service for a vehicle we do not own and have never owned. We have told them repeatedly that they have the wrong number and to stop calling. They have yet to update their records even though it's been over a year since they were first told that they have the wrong number. Since we are on the Do Not Call Registry, we have filed complaints with them as well. To no avail. We received yet another call from them on Saturday.Desired Settlement: We want White Plains Honda to stop calling us. Period. For as long as they remain in business.

Sincerely,

Review: I was attempting to purchase a 2007 Honda Odyssey EXL that White Plains Honda had listed on their website for $12,774. I live in Buffalo and before making the 6 hour journey to White Plains I was sure to discuss with the sales rep ([redacted]) about just how much this would cost, she assured me the price was $12,774 and that I would only be required to pay sales tax as well as the registration fee on top of this list price. So my wife and I put a $500 deposit down on the vehicle so that we could reserve it. We then spent $85 on a car rental and started our journey as soon as I got out of school friday evening(our prior minivan broke down and we are students shopping for the best deal we could get, so we had to rent a car to get to White Plains). We got as far as Liberty New York where we payed another $80 for a hotel. We then got to White Plains Saturday morning and took the car for a test drive, everything looked great, we had purchased insurance for the vehicle prior to our arrival and were fully prepared to pay CASH for the list price plus tax and registration fee, but when we sat down to work out the details with [redacted]our [redacted], suddenly the total we were presented with was adding up to over $15500, almost $3000 more than than the list price. at 8.7% the tax comes to about $1100 and registering the vehicle can't cost much more than $100, so we were prepared to pay around $14000 at the most. the break down showed two other fees adding up to about $1200.00. We tried to negotiate a lower price, explaining that we were told only sales tax and a registration fee would be added to the advertised price and that we never would have made the long trip had we known about these other costs. [redacted]would not budge and we had no choice but to walk away from the deal, Not just because we were lied to but also because we can't afford to spend close to $16000 on a car right now. Trust me, we had no intentions of driving 6 hours and spending over $300 on gas, a rental car and a hotel just on the off chance that we could talk our way into a good deal, we liked the list price and were lead to believe we could actually purchase the car for the advertised price! It felt like a total scam, like they would tell you anything you want to hear just to get you in the show room and then the truth finally comes out at the last moment! I am not sure if the blame lies with [redacted]for telling us false information or if [redacted] was just trying to squeeze us dry, but either way we never would have made that trip had we just been told the truth the first time we asked. I also was unable to find any disclaimer about these extra fees on the dealers webpage of the Minivan listing, which kind of seems like false advertising. On our way home to Buffalo I received a call from a lady from White Plains Honda who was asking about my experience using their website, I made a complaint to her about my whole experience trying to buy the van, she said she would take my complaint to the right people.Desired Settlement: I would love for them to actually sell us the van for its list price and then deliver it to buffalo since we already made that trip once. Or have them pay for the quick overnight trip we made to White Plains since they completely mislead us!

Review: I took a test drive in a car on the lot on August *, 2013. I was told that I could put a $500 deposit on a car in the lot (different from the test drive one) and that it would be refundable should I choose not to proceed with the purchase. I called the dealership within the 5 day window I had to decide on the purchase and told them I did not want to move ahead with the purchase and wanted my deposit back. [redacted], the saleslady told me no problem, my deposit would be refunded.

I have called numerous times and have not gotten my deposit back although each time the dealership says no problem and then no action.

Sincerely,

Review: I visited White Plains Honda on Saturday March **, 2014 to inquire about a used vehicle that was advertised. The vehicle was not at the location so they made me pay a $100.00 deposit to have the vehicle brought to their location. I put the deposit on my credit card. Their salesperson, [redacted], handled the transaction, writing on the purchase order that the deposit was "100% fully refundable". My schedule permitted me to see the car on Thursday March **, 2014. The original salesperson was not working on that day so another one, [redacted] Middleton, let me look at the vehicle. I decided I did not want to purchase the car so I asked him for my deposit back. He made me wait almost 1 (one) hour to credit my account. He told me the credit would appear within 24 to 48 hours on my credit card account and did not give me a receipt. I called [redacted] on Friday March [redacted], 2014 to inquire as to why there was no credit after a week, and he said he was helping out [redacted] and he will credit my account for the $100 and call me back. He never called back. It is now Tuesday March **, 2014 and I have not received my credit. I feel that the dealership has no intention of crediting my account.Desired Settlement: I want White Plains Honda to refund my deposit and credit my account.

Sincerely,

Review: MY NAME IS [redacted], AND I CAME IN TO WHITE PLAINS HONDA DEALERSHIP ON 02/**/2014 AROUND 5:00PM WITH THE SALES GUY [redacted]. I SEEN A 2011 HONDA ACCORD THAT I REALLY LIKE AND WANTED TO PURCHASE. HE TOLD ME, I WAS ACCEPTED FOR THE CAR, HE CALLED MY CAR INSURANCE COMPANY CHANGED THE INSURANCE POLICY BY ADDING THE NEW VEHICLE, TOOK MY DOWN PAYMENT OF $1,500 AND MADE ME RING A BELL STATING I WILL BE DRIVING IN MY NEW CAR TODAY. ONCE HE DID ALL HIS PROCUDURES, HE TOOK MY PAPERWORK TO THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT. I WAS NOT EVEN APPROVED YET BUT YET THEY TOOK MY MONEY WITHOUT NO CREDIT APPLICATION BEING PROCESS FIRST. I THINK THIS IS BAD BUSINESS PROCEDURES, THEY TAKE YOUR DOWN PAYMENT WITHOUT KNOWING WHETHER YOU HAVE BEEN APPROVED OR NOT. UNFORTUNATELY, I WAS NOT ACCEPTED FOR THAT VEHICLE BUT THEY WANTED ME TO GET A HONDA CIVIC. I SAID "NO" THIS IS NOT THE CAR I AM INTERESTED IN. DUE TO THE FACT THAT ONLY ONE BANK ACCEPTED MY OFFER AND THE APR % WAS GOING TO BE 24.6%. I DID NOT WANT THE DEAL. THE BRANCH MANAGER, STATED THAT HE WILL GIVE ME A CALL SATURDAY 2/**/14 TO CHECK OTHER BANK OFFERS. I SAID THAT WILL NOT BE A PROBLEM. I LEFT FRIDAY 2/**/14 WITHOUT MY DOWN PAYMENT OF 1,500 AND WITH A CAR THAT IS INSURED BUT ITS NOT IN MY POSSESION. MIND YOU, MY 1998 CAR IS NO LONGER INSURED WITH GEICO. THE [redacted] STATED THAT IF I DO NOT GET APPROVED, THE INSURANCE WILL DROP AUTOMATICALLY AND GEICO WILL INSURE MY 1998 HONDA ACCORD AGAIN. BUT THIS WAS A LIE. CALLED GEICO AND THEY STATED IF I DID NOT CALL SATURDAY TO CHANGE INSURANCE INFORMATION I WILL HAVE TO PAY A FEE FOR MY 1998 HONDA ACCORD FOR NOT BEING INSURED TO THE DMV. THANK GOD I RESOLVED THAT ISSUE. MY BIGGEST ISSUE WITH WHITE PLAINS HONDA DEALERSHIP IS THAT TODAY IS 2/**/2014 AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY DOWN PAYMENT OF $1,500. ON SATURDAY, 2/**/14 THE SALES GUY BRIAN AND THE SECRETARY STATED TO ME THAT I WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL TUESDAY 2/**/14 TO SEE THIS MONEY BECAUSE THE BANK TAKES 24-48 HOURS TO PROCESS THE PAYMENT. I SAID ITS UNDERSTANABLE, BUT TODAY IS THURSDAY I CALLED THEM AND THEY STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE DONE WITH MY PAPER WORK AND NO REFUND OF MY DOWN PAYMENT. THE BRANCH MANAGER SAID HE WILL GIVE ME A CALL BACK BUT I HAVE NO HEARD FROM HIM YET. I AM NOW WITHOUT MY MONEY NOR A CAR.Desired Settlement: I WILL JUST LIKE TO SEE MY REFUND BACK OF 1,500 BUT UNTIL THIS DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED NOT EVEN $1.00 OF THAT MONEY..

Sincerely,

Review: Purchased 2012 Honda Pilot in September (Now December) at White Plains Honda. After a month of driving the car, front and back end grinding noise. Noise increasingly getting worse and worse. We were told having Honda-care warranty we can bring the car in to any Honda for repair. Residing in [redacted], [redacted] was a far trip to return so we first brought the car to [redacted] Honda. The mechanic got in the car for a test drive to hear the noise and pretended NOT to hear anything and kept talking throughout the test-drive instead of listening to the problem. In the end, he just brushed us off and said nothing was wrong with the car... We thought it would be better to bring the car where it was originally purchased. After several phone calls, finally got [redacted] on the phone. There was an issue bringing the car in during the week day because my husband works during the day. This is our only car, and we needed a way to return home. So week day drop off would not work for us. We had to borrow a car on a Sunday evening and bring the car to leave it there over night for Monday service. We asked [redacted] for a rental when we drop off the car, and he said we cant have a rental until our car has gone through diagnostic. Without knowing at the time, we were actually entitled to a free rental at drop, and is covered under our warranty agreement. The business manager had informed of this the following day. We were denied what we pay for in our contract warranty with Honda. Had we been informed properly, we would have brought the car sooner and anytime during the day, knowing we had a car to return. Monday morning comes along, from 9am to 3:30pm, the car was not attended too and after several phone calls, no one had an answer regarding the repairs needed for the vehicle. Calls were not returned when promised. We were getting the run around all morning and afternoon. Finally, I spoke to [redacted], who had been the most helpful in this situation. She told me she would look into the situation and get back to me. She had [redacted] return my call. First call, he told me that "they're working on the car, they don't have an answer to what the problem is". I get a call back from [redacted] around 4:30, he tells me that they "took the car apart, wheels, rims, etc, put the car back together and the noise is gone". Nothing is wrong with the car. I told him, does this make any sense to you, that the car makes a grinding noise (which he heard himself and acknowledged was there) and just disappears after taking apart the car and putting it back together? Then I asked him, if this was your car, you would be ok with the same response? Surprisingly he replied "NO". Then I asked, why I am getting my car back without the issue being resolved? He said he had two of best mechanics look at the car and that they cant find anything wrong with the car. Also, I confronted him regarding the denied rental, he said he couldn't give us the rental because the mechanic in [redacted] said nothing was wrong with the car. That same mechanic also informed us that shocks and brakes were after market parts, NOT GENUINE HONDA parts at the time of purchase, which is also indicated in our contract. So If [redacted] honored the mechanics findings and denied us a rental, why didn't he honor the sy shocks and brakes Whiteplains Honda installed and REPLACE them with GENUINE HONDA parts like we agreed!? PERHAPS THIS IS THE REASON THE CAR MAKES NOISE BUT I GUESS HONDA DOESN'T WANT TO PAY FOR THEIR INCOMPETENCE! Anyway, that evening we picked up the car, no noise on the way home... The next day, after driving and running errands, the noise was back! Did they think just greasing up the parts the noise wouldn't return? Today, I called White Plains to inform the noise is back... Im still waiting to hear back from them. Ive read the reviews, it seems like this location has an issue with customer service. I also believe the warranty is an absolute gimmick along with their mechanics! My husband works all day. Im 9 months pregnant with a 3 year old and 27K car that drives like a tractor trailer! At this point, seems like an attorney and filing complaints is what we have to do for a solution!?Desired Settlement: pick up the car from our location, REPAIR IT without charge and rental covered under warranty agreement!

Sincerely,

Review: I got a car that was priced at 18,500.00.(without tax) Now they want me to pay 23,319.00 (without tax)for it.

In Jan 2014 I was shopping for honda pilot online. I had a call from White Plains Honda, that they have what I was looking for. I was told the car will cost $18,500.00. I agreed to get it. At this time I talk to [redacted] who was the sale person. Later [redacted] called and booked the appoinment for to come their center; and also confirm the price. I drove up to New York for the car on Saturday Feb. [redacted]. They could not complete my credit report so I ask to come back after all the credit report is done. They did all the credit information on monday the [redacted] of Feb. and call me. I went there on Tuesday Feb. [redacted]. They did explain all the transaction to me. I did pay $3,000.00 as down payment but this did not get me to a confortable monthly rate. At this point I was advanced by [redacted] ([redacted])that if I can put some more down with 30 days that can reduce the monthly which will be calculated only after the final amount that I will able to add has been received. I did accept and promised to send some more money as soon as I get my tax return check. At this point because I was coming from far I had to sign a contract form so when they get the money they process my contract. So when I got my tax return check I call [redacted] to give him the payment, he said the papers have already been processed I should just do my payment for Six months then call him to recalculate it. I was fine with that until I receved my first statment, the amount on it was way more than the extimate he gave. I tried in vain to talked to him about it. Every time I called they will say he is going to call me but he never did. then on May [redacted]. I went for the first oil change, I was asked about fluids of the car I called them again for that to get this inform nobady gave the inform, at point I asked to talk to the [redacted]. I told him I have been calling that place since feb. for my papers no luck. He then send me the paper that is when I saw that the car that was priced at 18,000.00 is put down for 23,319.00. I called the [redacted] again and complained about this new price. He said the best he can do is to pay 4 payments of the car. I told him that is not correct he said He is going to tell [redacted] to call continue with me. since then [redacted] is not calling and is not returning my calls.Desired Settlement: Recalculate my contract from the price of $18,500.00 that I was told before I went for the car.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: I went in to the dealer and on the first day they took a $2000 down payment. After 3 days of paperwork they told me they didn't have the car on premises and the title needed to be cleared. They said I would get the car by the weekend. When I called Saturday of that same week they said over the phone they still didn't have the title that it would take another week or 2. I was frustrated after a whole week of going back and forth to check with them personally. I decided it was enough time. They started to give me an attitude. I went in Monday of the following week to get my down payment back because I was going to try another dealer. They said it would take 24-48 hours to have it back into my debit card. Is now Friday and they reject my calls. The [redacted] absences himself when I ask for him. I'm just tired of all the unprofessional conduct. I want my money back, I will never go back to this dealer.Desired Settlement: $2000 I gave them for down payment

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Sincerely,

Review: We are writing in reference to the attached complaint for two vehicles leased through Honda of White Plains. In summary, we chose to terminate a lease on our 2011 Honda Civic early (September 2013 instead of March 2014) due to overage in mileage. We returned our vehicle to the same dealership from which it was originally leased under an agreement we made with our [redacted] and approved by the [redacted]. The agreement was to roll the cost of the mileage and our remaining payments into the price of a new lease (inflating the cost of a 2013 Accord in order to cover mileage overage and remaining payments). However, Honda of White Plains has yet to remit the full amount due to Honda Financial Services which has resulted in the attached bill notices from Honda Financial Services. Additionally, Honda Financial Services (specifically [redacted]) took possession of our 2011 Civic immediately (September **, 2013) and never allowed adequate time for an appraisal which violated our rights. It took multiple visits and calls to both Honda Financial Services and White Plains Honda in order for the vehicle to even be located (at which point when it was located, it was up for sale at an auction on October **, 2013 prior to Honda Financial services ever appraising the vehicle). On October **, 2013 both [redacted] and [redacted] verbally agreed that the remaining payment issues would be resolved promptly, as previously agreed to. A certified and return receipt letter reconfirming this conversation was accepted by White Plains Honda on 11/*/13 and by Honda Financial Services whereby neither party responded nor challenged the agreement. Now, nearly three months later, the matter has yet to be resolved. We have both spoken to [redacted] this week and he has confirmed the matter is being handled, but has yet to cut a check to White Plains Financial Services and the matter has yet to find closure. Leaving us stuck with a car value price of $**,182.63, over $5,000.00 above the original sticker value and an outstanding bill due to Honda Financial Services. Not only has White Plains Honda grossly overcharged us on our current lease, but they failed to uphold the agreement and act in a manner consistent with the law.Desired Settlement: 1. Prompt payment of the remaining money due to Honda Financial Services for the return of the 2011 Civic. 2. Revised agreement for the 2013 Accord (or termination of such agreement). 3. Payment for time loss trying to resolve this issue over the past several months.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

1. My account with Honda Financial Services, remains "past due", as shown below (note date and time stamp on bottom right):

2. The lease on the 2011 Civic remains as "open" on my credit report and is incorrectly NEGATIVE REPORTING. I want this removed immediately as it is affecting my credit score and rating. Again, screenshot with relevant time stamp and date below:

3. As noted in my original complaint, my current lease is grossly over market cost - I am requested an amendment or credit for that lease as well.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Response:

We have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that the complaint has NOT been resolved because:

1. The payment was for less than the amount we are paying within our new lease (difference of $399.63) which we expect to either be directly reimbursed or credited on our new lease. We believe it was sneaky and unethical for Honda of White Plains to once again try to undermine and underpay their share of the deal.

2. Joann's credit report is still showing delinquent marks given the dealerships failure to remit payment to Honda Financial Services in a timely matter. We will not accept this as being resolved until those marks are withdrawn and the lease is appropriately closed out with "paid in full" status.

3. Our new lease (2013 Accord) is still inflated beyond the fair market value of the car.

If the dealership cannot offer a resolution to these issues, we will pursue further actions.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

Gentlemen:

I

am in receipt of the complaint dated January **, 2014 from the above referenced

customer.

We

contacted AHFC on behalf of the customer and were

able to reduce the charges that she owed for the excess mileage from $1677.63

to $1278, hence the difference of the $399.

As stated in our previous response the customer’s account has been

satisfied; there is no outstanding balance and a satisfactory letter was mailed

to the customer on January **, 2014.

We also addressed the customer’s concerns regarding her credit

reports still showing delinquent marks. We were advised from AHF that it takes up

to **-45 days for the credit report system to update, but there is nothing that

the customer is responsible for at this time.

Review: Contract was entered into agreement between complaintant (buyer) and respondent (seller) on February **, 2015 for the purchase of a used vehicle at the respondent's dealership. On February **, 2015, complaintant expected delivery of the purchased used vehicle to be informed by an agent of the respondent that the registration for the vehicle was not processed by the [redacted] as the insurance policy's effective date was February **, 2015 and not the purchase date of February **, 2015. Complaintant was told by the agent of the respondent that he would not be allowed to leave with his purchased vehicle until it was shown that the insurance coverage was from the purchase date. Compaintant complied with the request and supplied the respondent with a corrected insurance policy and was then authorized by the agent of the respondent to take the vehicle into his possession. Complaintant had contractually paid a fee for the respondent to register the aforementioned vehicle and was told his temporary registration was valid until April **, 2015, and that the permanent registration would be delivered via the [redacted] before the expiration of the temporary registration. As of April **, 2015, complaintant never received a permanent registration and discovered the vehicle was never registered by the respondent.Desired Settlement: A registration fee of $235 was paid to the respondent with the expectation and understanding that they would register the vehicle, which they have failed to do. Complaintant wants the full refund of the $235 plus an additional payment of $800 for the added stress and potential risk involved with the respondent's failure to comply with contractual agreements . Additionally, complaintant wishes to have the respondent issue an apology. Thirdly, complaintant wishes to have all of the respondent's agents involved to be terminated for negligence.

Response:

The registration was mailed to the customer on April **, 2015.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The dealership did not admit to fault at first nor did they issue a formal apology. Additionally, the dealership has not made any monetary contrition, up to nor including the amounts requested, nor acknowledged formally the negligence on their behalf. The vehicle was registered nearly two months after it was purchased and the only way the dealership saw fit to rectify the situation was to only upheld their agreement with no form of compensation. Furthermore, the amount paid to the dealership for the registration cost was more than the actual registration cost was; the dealership has not refunded the extra allocated amount; the contract was entered with the understanding that the registration fee was to cover the cost and only the cost of the registration, that all other fees were paid under the dealership fee section of the contract.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

We have been trying to reach [redacted] since we received his complaint via phone and email, but have not heard back from him. Attached is a copy of the [redacted] reimbursement check sent to [redacted].

Review: I placed a $500 deposit on a new car and then made a $2000 payment on the day of delivery. When the car came in, I was unhappy with the state of the car (interior damage, poor steering) so did not take delivery. They agreed and ripped up my contract. When I asked to credit the deposit and the payment, they said they couldn't do so and needed to submit a check request to get me a check instead. After two weeks, when the check did not arrive, I went back to the dealer. At this stage they said they couldn't issue a check but had to have a copy of my credit card to issue the refund. They also said that if I had asked for the credit to be processed on the day I made the payment, they would have been able to do that. (I actually did ask on that day and they said they couldn't credit the account.) I let them know that I wouldn't give a copy of my credit card as they had lied to me twice. We agreed that the best thing to do would be to file a dispute with my credit card company and they would authorize the bank to credit my account. Three weeks later, my credit card company still hasn't received authorization from their bank.Desired Settlement: I would like the $2500 refunded to my card. For now, I am willing to forego the additional interest and compensation for the time I have spent trying to get my money back.

Review: I was trying to trade in my 2011 Honda Insight. The Insight was leased and over-miled. After arriving at the dealership around 6:00 p.m. on 5/**/13, and picking a car, I informed my salesman, [redacted], at least 20 times that the Insight was over-miled. [redacted] ignored me each time, and [redacted] tried to have me sign the dealer lease form on the new 2013 Honda Civic before he finalized the deal that we agreed to. I wanted 12,000 miles, and [redacted] had 10,000 miles written down on the contract. I then went to the finance person around 9:30 at night. I explained the situation with the over-miles and the finance person said that "we can't do this deal, we'd lose too much money." I then met with the sales manager, [redacted] and we came to an agreement on a lease price of $384 per month and 12,000 miles per year on the lease. [redacted] said that for my inconvenience, the new car would be delivered to my house and the old car would be taken away on Thursday, 5/**/13 at 3:30 p.m. I arrived at my house at 3:30 p.m. Nobody from the dealer showed up until almost 5:15 p.m., after 3 phone calls from me to the dealership. The car that I received was damaged- someone smashed into the right, rear corner of the back bumper. The dealership tried to get me to accept the damaged vehicle and that they would fix it for free. I turned down the damaged car and said I wanted a brand new one. [redacted] offered me a 3 year maintenance package for my inconvenience. However, when I called American Honda Corporation yesterday, 6/**/13 to complain about this situation, the customer service representative from Honda stated that there was no service plan. Today, 6/**/13, I also called American Honda to complain that the dealership did not pay off my 2011 Honda Insight as stated in my sales agreement. I tried to call the dealership, but got the runaround and received no call back.Desired Settlement: I want the 3 year Honda Care full maintenance Warranty that was promised and explained to me and I also want the dealership to refund the payment $**2.90 that was debited from my checking account.

Response:
