On two occasions the inspector found major flaws that the seller could or would not remedy saving me from buying something that would have been dangerous or unhealthy or prohibitively expensive to repair. The sellers of one house had represented that the property had passed recent full inspection without a flaw so I almost did not inspect. Fortunately my son advised to the contrary stating emphatically ..."you always have an inspection!"
Seagate is exceedingly thorough. When purchasing after their inspection, I knew.not only that the property was sound, but what upcoming maintenance would be required as well as minor flaws needed attention.
