The Peanut Factory Lofts, an apartment complex managed by Windmill Investments owe me and my roommate about $1,079. Were were offered discounts that were not added to our accounts. We were forced to pay the negative balance in the months of December 2018, January and February 2019. When confronted with the issue the company requested our bank statements which were provided. They claim some months were
missing, but the bank statements reflect the charges. This is an accounting mistake from their part. Leasing company has stopped returning our emails and phone calls.
We have copies of the ledgers and our bank statements showing the money taken out of our account. In addition, the security deposit was never returned.
I’ve been involved with *** about his ledger questions on multiple occasions. He moved in while peanut factory is under Greystar management. He was given multiple concessions upon moving in or when they renewed their leases multiple times.
The change of management from BH Management to in-house changed his ledger look in our system but is still accurate.
We reviewed all of *** and his roommate’s bank statement to ensure all are matching with Yardi. We reviewed their ledger with them line item by line item and created a manual one that combined both ledgers and still balanced the same final amount with him.
*** left and came back about a month later with an excel sheet that he created that shows that he has a credit of little over a thousand. I responded to him using his own excel sheet and showed him that based on his charges and the total payments they provided; they still don’t get the credit amount he is requesting.
Again, he didn’t like the fact that he didn’t get what he wants. Jason(Manager) and I(Mohannad) told him that we reviewed his ledger and bank statements and confirmed that all the charges are correct and that he was given all the credits he was promised. Unless he can provide us with a proof of payment that is not posted in Yardi. We can’t give him any additional credits and his ledger is correct.
Please let me know if its required from us to provide his ledgers to you to confirm accuracy.
