Review: In 2012 we contracted Wisconsin Granite Depot we purchased granite kitchen counter tops for $4000.00 +. On the scheduled day of installation theworkers came late (4:00 PM) on a Friday. Upon arrival I told theinstallers that they should only do a portion of the installation becauseit was too late. They insisted they could do the complete job with noproblem. The finished at 7:00 PM The next morning The next morning I noticed the sink countertop was I" shorter then the rest of the counters.Now our island counter top does not line up with the sink counter top.When finally Tasa came to respond to my complaint he suggested that he would cut down all the other tops to match up to the short counter top.May I mention that the standard overhang for counter tops is 1.5 inches.It looks terrible. I tried to accept this sloppy work but everyday as Isit at our kitchen island I see this problem and it bothers me.Desired Settlement: If they will not replace all of our counter tops I would be willingto settle for $750.00

We are sorry to hear that Mr. [redacted] has a complaint

about his countertops. We installed them

in April 2012. At that time Mrs.

[redacted] signed a certificate of completion after the installation. This tells us that the customer is happy with

the work and material. We did receive a

letter in the mail from Mr. [redacted] .

We called to speak to him but we were told he wasn’t available and ask

him to return the call. We did not receive

a telephone call from him. Due to us

having the signed certificate of completion, we do not feel the customer was unhappy

at with their countertop and no compensation is due. However, we are happy to look at the job one more time too.
