Wolfgang installed my new A/C and ever since the roof has been leaking, during raining. They have had their repair tech out upon several occasions, but no luck in actually repairing the damage that is allowing rain water to leak into my house. Tom has agreed to pay for $600 of roof repairs, which will cost $850, but he still has not supplied anything in writing after verbal agreement was reached. I would like to move forward with my roof repairs, as rain has been more frequent as of late, but Tom has delayed in getting the agreement to me.

Homeowner requested in writing that we would help with the costs of the roof leak. We have sent an email confirming our agreement to help cover the cost to repair a roof leak.

Thank Youd

I filed a complaint with Revdex.com and it wasn't resolved, Wolfgangs terrible job caused health problems with an odor that was never there until their installation and it shows here on Revdex.com that it was resolved to our satisfaction? They kept denying this and that and making excuses to keep their perfect record. Well I don't believe that record now that I see nothing is showing on the Revdex.com so how many others have had problem that doesn't show. I do not trust the Revdex.com now that I have tried to go through the process.

We're sorry that your experience with our company fell short of your expectations. We sometimes can't provide a solution or fix something if we can't find the issue or a problem that is intermittent. We strive to be the best at our job and the services that we provide.

Wolgang's is supposed to be the "experts". How is a company who has been in the business for so long not be able to distinguish between an open drain under the drip pan that CAN collect dirt and debris in the attic and the closed drain that is directly hooked up to air handler that had water sitting in it with whatever was causing our asthma attics, chest pains and headaches, starting ONLY after WOLFGANG installed a new air conditioner and only happening when the air conditioner was used? We never had this issue before replacing the air conditioner with Wolfgang. Wolfgang put in that drain. All they ever did was check the air handler for dust, never checked the drain. We found the problem after researching the internet for plenty of companies that talk about cleaning the drain line, that mold that can grow in there but they told me THEY NEVER HEARD OF THAT IN ALL THIER YEARS? Then how good are they if other companies know about it? How is that they put the responsibility on the customer to find the problem and fix it? Instead they tried to sell us a Remo Halo to patch the problem, give them more money with the problem not fixed, and not admit the problem for fear of a lawsuit, a lawsuit we never considered until now. We still have bottled what came out of our air handler drain that was connected to the enclosed system, the trap holding the water connected inches from the air handler opening; whatever was growing in there was in our air handler and spread throughout our house when the air conditioner went on. We spent hundreds for a professional, hospital grade cleaning of our ducts for our son with chronic health issues when we moved in, that they knew about before installation, then Wolfgang ruined it with this drain problem. They tell me you never heard of a drain problem so nothing will be done? I tell you what, how about that Reme Halo you kept trying to sell us, for even MORE money when you were going to "cut us deal". Do right by us. Put it in there, your treat!

.

On very short notice, Wolfgang's Cooling & Heating sent out repairman Chris B. who quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it. We were very pleased with the office and the repairman.

My family has been using Wolgang's Cooling and Heating Corp. for many years now. They are always honest, no matter how good or bad the news. They explain every situation thoroughly and will answer any questions with confidence. Chris did a great job. No pressure to do any unnecessary diagnostics, just honest opinions and options. Thank you!

Thank you for the positive comment. We strive to be the best at our job and do it right.

We've been using Wolfgang's to service our HVAC for years and are very happy with them. Chris is professional and knowledgeable and great to work with. He explains clearly to us our unit's condition. If he sees any potential problems, he explains thoroughly our options. We feel confident our system is in good hands with Chris.

Chris B - Great job, Thank you!

We have been using Wolfgang's annual maintenance program for 4 years for our 4 air conditioners. Chris B has been the one conducting the summer maintenance. He is always friendly, on-time, asks good questions, thorough with his work. He provides a detailed explanation of how our systems are functioning (both good and bad), options for me to choose and recommendations of next steps. Because of the professional demeanor, and C&H knowledge, consistency I trust his recommendations. If you are thinking about hiring a Heating and Cooling team, Wolfgang's is the best I have seen and Chris is a 10 out of 10.

We recently called Wolfgang’s for our semiannual tune up and as usual we received the same stellar service we have experienced with this company for 8 years. Cody’s expertise, professionalism and courtesy are a real credit to the company and the reason why we are loyal customers. We enthusiastically recommend them!

Chris was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional as he performed our summer inspection. They take pride in their job and company and are willing to answer any questions or concerns you might have. We were very pleased with Chris's work.

We had a brand new Trane air conditioner installed in our home on March 23rd, 2017 by ***. After the installation, there has been an attic type smell coming through the vents that was never there before. We have two air conditioners and the one that wasn't replaced does not have that smell coming through the vents. Not only is the smell not pleasant and my daughter complains of the house smelling bad, but it is causing asthma attacks in two members of my family. The asthma attacks were also not a problem for 4 years previous to the the new Trane installation. When *** reps came out to check on the smell, they would say everything is fine. A Trane rep did say rarely some houses have a smell, that just happens in some homes, and it is our home, not the unit. Nice try. Never had the smell before and we don't have it with the other air conditioner! We did have a *** worker out to check the unit and the smell came out strong halfway through his visit. He admitted it, it was strong, but when he came out with reps, he would not admit it or say a word. Summer is back, the smell and asthma. A call yesterday, 5/25, from *** ended by telling me to hire a company to spray a chemical sealant throughout the vent system, adding chemicals to the the air output and contaminating our air even more? Passing the buck, literally? He just said that if was the ductwork, the intake would cause an accumulation of matter in the unit but it is clean. The output wouldn't let anything get in because the force of the air blows out through any holes, not take anything in. Why these problems only after the new system? Lastly, the replaced air conditioner was original to the home,1992 Trane, 25 years old. SRP told us after an energy audit, the blow test of our duct work passed with flying colors but the original Trane unit is what's costing us. We installed a brand new Trane from Wolgang and our electric bills did not go down and now we have bad air causing health problems!

We have made as many as 5 visits to the home to find and diagnose the odor. There is an air handler in the attic that provides the air circulation during a heating and cooling cycle and we haven't found any type of a foul smell or odor that would cause health issues. The homeowner maintains a very clean home with no obstructions or chemicals present that would create or cause an odor. We were told the odor is intermittent and sometimes stronger than other times and reminded them of what attic insulation smelled like on a very hot day in the attic. The homeowner said they added insulation to the attic after we installed the new air conditioning system. We checked for attic insulation inside the air handler and ducting and found nothing. Homeowner also indicated that the odor seemed to be more present when doing laundry and running the washing machine. We found no connection between the air conditioner air handler in the attic and washing machine. A factory rep from Trane was present to check for any unseen issues with the new air handler. Again no odor resent on that day and nothing was found. During our most recent visit in June 2018 again to see if we could smell or diagnose an odor came up with no findings. The homeowner said the odor wasn't present unless she stood on a ladder next to a vent. We stood on the ladder to see if we could smell the odor. The odor that we detected was a harmless wet coil smell that sometimes is present during the cooling cycle when humidity is present. We explained to the homeowner how that odor has never caused any asthma related issues. We did offer to add an purifier or have the air tested in the home for chemicals or hazardous materials. Homeowner declined the test. We asked if they had any interest in a 3rd party company coming out to provide a test on the duct system and possibly seal the ducting from the inside out if necessary. That was also declined.

At the bottom of the response by ***, they mentioned several things. One was about testing the air. Because we have a child with health issues, we are familiar with air quality testing and did this before we bought the home during the 10 day inspection period using a highly qualified business/lab that found no mold and other air contaminants. Not just anyone can do an air quality test so we declined that offering. We have established that the asthma reactions happens only when the air is running!

Another comment was about offering a deal on an an air purifier. That is only patching the problem, not remedying the source. Also, the "deal" offered on their last visit on June 7th was $1100 on a Reme Halo, the "deal" $150 MORE than they offered when they installed the air conditioner. How is that a deal, charging more, especially with all the trouble and health issues we have endured.

On the visit June 7th, they said that the secondary fan was causing the musty smell so they turned it off. The asthma attacks continued and was worse. We spent numerous hours again researching what could be the cause and finally found companies mentioning that if the drain connected to the air handler had mold, etc, it would go into the the air handler and circulate throughout the house. We saw two drains in the attic. One for the drip pan and another connected directly to the air handler, We disconnected the drain to the air handler and poured water through it while my wife caught it outside in a pitcher and it was disgusting. We proceeded to clean the drain and refill it with clean water. After that, the asthma attacks stopped. We told this to *** and they wrote back that it couldn't be the problem and that was that! Instead of helping us, they seemed more afraid of facing that something was wrong with the installation from day one (it was a new drain they installed from the air handler) and to please help us fix it so ti doesn't happen again!

I have attached two email correspondences between us and the homeowner. We are getting conflicting information. The odor seems to come and go which makes it difficult to locate and trouble shoot. The homeowner sent an email to us that they flushed the condensate drain and cleared dirt and gunk from it. It's not uncommon to have gunk in the drain line due to dust and dirt particles in the air. We are waiting to hear if that cleared up the odor because we've never had a case where odors come from a condensate drain especially since it has air blowing through the drain instead of pulling air in like some air handlers. I sent an email response to the homeowner on 6-14-18 asking for additional information if the odor was cleared up after the flush but I didn't get any response. I called today and left a message for them to call us back to discuss if the odor was still present and we're willingness to help. We're awaiting a call back.

We have used Wolfgang's for over 20+ years at various homes we have owned and have always found them to be very professional. Their service techs are helpful and you don't mind having them in your home. You feel very safe with them and the service they provide. We continue to have their yearly service contract and have bought a new unit through them as well. Highly recommend them.

We have been clients of Wolfgang's for 30+ years. Every time year we renew our annual contract all of the technicians have been friendly, professional and very knowledgeable and timely. This last renewal was performed by Kris and he was great and hopefully he will be the tech for our follow up in October. Thanks again for the great service!!!!

Justin did the spring maintenance on our home. He has been our technician now for several years. He does a great job -clean, efficient and friendly. We have been using this company for over 12 years and would highly recommend them. We have never had a bad experience.

Just had our summer tune up on our installed Wolfgang's Cooling & Heating system. This is the 5th year of service. All technicians have provided excellent service during this time. Justin W. has just completed our summer tune up. He is a very thorough, polite and skilled technician. A true credit to his organization.

I requested a second opinion and quote after another valley company said my 8 year old Trane was leaking coolant and need an new evap coil for lots of money. Called Wolfgang's and they had VP Tom D promptly responded within one day to offer a second opinion and conduct a full test of the AC unit. After his inspection, he determined the unit was fully functional with no leaks detected and no need for any additional repairs/servicing. Prompt, direct, honest, and true professional! Plus their employees do not work on commissions. From now on, Wolfgang's has earned my future business and I HIGHLY recommend Tom and Wolfgang's for any future AC/heating needs!!!

Cody W was through and took time to explained everything to me. He was helpful and friendly.

Service was professional, courteous and friendly. Chris walked me through everything that he is doing. He showed up when promised with a phone call from the office ahead of time letting me know when he was arriving.

Cody W. From Wolfgang’s was here for the third year in a row to service my air conditioning unit. I have complete confidence in his work and will continue to request Cody when having my unit serviced. I’m very pleased with Wolfgang’s business.
I’m a retired Air Force General and am used to outstanding technicians. Cody is near the top of my list.

Been using Wolfgang's for over 10 years. Always on time and very courteous. All the tech's explain what they're doing and are very willing to answer any questions.

I received the referral through the Save with SRP website.
The office staff answered the phone quickly, were polite, and called with a timely service reminder.
Technician Cody was prompt, polite, and took the time to explain what he was going to do. Once the PM was done, he had a couple items to recommend for my 5 year old unit. He did not pressure or hard sell; in fact, he said these were items to monitor but did not require immediate service.
I've lived here for more than 25 years and this is the _first_ time I was impressed with a HVAC and plumbing company. Well done.
