I purchased the Penn foster high school program and I have it 60% completed so was calling the school that I was going to attend and found out that Penn foster is not accredited programthat I wasted a year out of my life and money to pay for this program that's not even accreditedI am very upset and Penn foster told me that is was an accredited schooling program when its not

I enrolled in the Vet Tech program and paid the registration fee and began paying monthlyOnce I began the program I realized it was not worth my timeI already have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and did not want to continue with Penn FosterI knew the cancellation policy so I withdrew far before I finished 50% of the programI finished only assignments out of the total that would be if I continuedThe monthly payments continued for a few months and I paid enough money I thought should cover the 25% of the program I knew I had to payNext thing I knew they were charging me about $dollars moreI tried contacting many times and getting a breakdown of why I was being charged because I clearly did not finish a lot of the course and I had never received any shipments or anything extra I should be charged forEvery time I spoke with someone they said they would send me something in the mail with the breakdownEach time the mail came about days later a

On Aug28, 2016, I signed a contract and made a first payment for a course, "*** *** with Software," sold by Penn Foster Career SchoolI was given a student ID number and was sent many emails about privacy agreements, course deadlines, etc However, I was not given the software
I called Penn Foster several times before I got someone who actually spoke with me about thisI was told on or around Augthat I would receive a card by regular mail with a key to allow me to download the software When this card did not come in the mail, I called again on or around Sepand was told that "the software is on back order." When I asked when I could expect to get the software, the customer service agent told me that instructor "Ann Marie (I think her last name is M***) says she doesn't know when you will get the software." When I said I was on a Penn Foster-specified deadline, I was told on that call that "we will extend your deadline free of charge," but I don't k

I needed to find a distance learning veterinary technician program, after much consideration due to my financial situation, I decided to look into Penn Foster's vet tech programI inquired online via chat and then was encouraged to call the toll free number for more informationI expected to receive information regarding the program and I was transferred to several different phone representatives that kept asking me for my credit card number and agreeing with everything I said, and praised the program encouraging me to enroll, offering discounts on feesI submitted to the sales pressure, feeling a bit uncomfortable in my gut but decided to give the college the benefit of the doubtUpon enrollment I found myself without much guidance through the program when I asked for assistance with a technical issue (something they should be concerned over since the program is a distance learning experience) and never received any help for my technical issue onlineI had to learn about the prog

I was taking online classes at Penn Foster and they said that I couldn't take anymore classes until I finish paying off another program that I had previously taking and finishedAfter finish taking my dental assistant program I get accepted into the early child hood education programI was currently taking class on the early child hood program then all of sudden they canceled the programIn response to the cancellation they said that I owed on a previous programThey cancelled my program with no notification of the cancellationI was never told upfront that I had to pay off a course before I started another courseI assume my programs cost would be combined in one lump sum and I could pay all the classes off at the end of the programThen they said I owe on a medical assistant class that I never requested to take

On Wednesday April 27, I *** *** called Penn Foster High school in regards to my $payments etcThe rep that I spoke with on this above date and month/ year told me that she was going to defer my April payment for one monthSo I asked the rep was she cocksure that no payment for the month of April will not be debited off of my credit cardThe rep said sure the payment has been deferred for one monthThen on April 29, when I checked my credit card statement I detect that Penn Foster High school had an authorization hold for $to come from out of my accountA payment for the month of April never suppose to been debited off of my credit card; due to the requested deferment On Monday May 2, I called Penn Foster High School twice and the first rep that I spoken to in regards to this matter she became argumentative with me and then terminated our callI called Penn foster high school again and spoken with Linda and she stated that I didn't contact

I enrolled with Penn Foster on September 8, On September I received an email telling me that the bank account information that I had on file was incorrectI was on vacation, but called customer service on September and talked with someone in billingThey informed me that the amount that they tried to withdraw ($10) came back as NSFI informed her that no payment went against my bank account as NSF because I have not been charged a service chargeShe told me that I needed to talk with my bank and I told her that because there was no overdraft fee on my account that the bank would not be able to tell me anythingThen I requested that we verify the bank account number and was informed that she could only verify the last digitsRequested again that the bank account information be verified and found out that numbers in my account number had been transposed and entered incorrectlyWhen I first enrolled I verified my information at least or maybe times with the acco

Penn Foster deserves an A+I am new to Penn FosterMy son is in their high school diploma programThe customer service is EXCELLENTThey are very helpful, always willing to lend a handThe student account website is very easy to navigateLOVE YOU PENN FOSTER! Thank you for making the process from transitioning from a public high school to homeschooling a BREEZE!!!! Keep up the EXCELLENT WORK!

I enrolled at Penn Foster as a young new mother of small children to earn a degree to better our livesI worked very hard at my studies and made very consistent monthly payments the entire time! I completed my first semester with good grades and had it almost paid down to nothingI enrolled into my next semester right around the time I began to have serious health concernsI tried to get my work done and keep up with payments but it was hard when I was hospitalized multiple times a month where I had no internetWhen I would get behind on my studies I would reach out to my teachers who always seemed to work with me so I kept working at catching up in between hospital staysSo after a particularly long battle of illness I returned home with work I had completed in my hospital bed and tried to turn it all in but my student portal was saying I was not a student! I called them and was told that because my work was not turned in by my deadline (supposed to be work at own pace anyway!)

I signed up for Penn Foster high school diploma program they are such a rip off first of all I never gave those people permission to charge my card I just used the card to sign they were running a special online that said sign up for only dollar's I believe so that's what I did then they back and charge my card for I never authorized them to do that she told me I signed a contract which included auto pay which is a lie because I told them that I would call in and pay they took the funds from my card that I receive child support for my son no one seemed to care about the situation I had to use the money to pay for my son medication and then Penn Foster is still telling me that I have to pay more be of the orientation I took which was never explained to me they are total rip offs

After receiving a collections letter from Penn Foster I called and spoke with collection agency to inform them I never signed up for anything with Penn Foster ( I had to research what Penn Foster even was) The collection agency stated it looked like a cause of fraud and was going to close it out However, I just received a letter from a collection agency again in the amount of $ I never signed up for anything and I am very upset that I keep receiving this, it is damaging to my credit and downright upsetting I have attempted to call Penn Foster numerous times and can never get through to an actual person! I do not understand how a company can destroy your credit and send you to collections when you never even had any business with them!

Complete scamWhen I first signed up for this course in April of I paid in full when I saw on their website that their course prepares you to sit for coding certification examsFast forward to November and their website now only says they’ll give you a voucher for the CBCS examI have had numerous issues during my courfinal exam being the worstMy work has been rejected timescalls and multiple emails later I am no closer to being done with this asinine course and customer service doesn’t care to even try to help youI am so displeased with this course and PennfosterI would never recommend them to ANYONE

As stated on the website there is a six day refund policy, as stated in this hyperlink (https://www.pennfoster.edu/admissions/refund-policy) I enrolled the morning of 11/13/at aproximatly 6:A.MMSTI emailed them later the same day, and have not received any contact backI do not want to talk to them on the phone, I just want to cancel my enrollment, and get my tuition back
