I am so disappointed in Penn Foster , I regret considerably for enrolling at this school
I started out this program with a goal of finishingBut I soon realized I don't have time for online school right now and that eventually going to real classes would be a better approach for meThis school is so slow in sending out your materials , they told me there was usually a 6-week waiting period between classes for my shipments to arrive..again, a complete waste of my time

I paid $down, instead of the $down payment - for the payment-match programThey have mailed me two contracts to sign, that indicate my cost is $1,(instead of the $1,advertised on their website) - so I have refused to sign themIt has been business days and I have not received the (transcript credit of $150) or the payment-match credit of ($to match my initial down payment)

You get questions at the end of each chapter, not practical questions, definitions The answers are not in the readings or the book An instructor told me not to use the Internet to look up information Where are the answers? The course takes a year and has filler in it that has nothing to do with medical coding This is not a certified school; now I know why The book for the course is written poorly and some of the course material is chunks of different courses slapped together without being updated too often The book does not accentuate the important parts well enough nor does it provide enough detail in some parts There are several teachers for each p

I have had a wonderful experience all 3x I have dealt with Penn Foster I even had to lapse a year in one of my programs due to an extremely difficult pregnancy and delivery They allowed me to pick up once I was well enough I had already paid the entire fee so they just held my spot open I had a year to complete the program at the time but with so many health issues I couldn't thankfully they worked really well with me on it and I finally was able to complete it My husband did his high school through this over years ago and it was so easy for him to work with them and on the courses He had no problem with it transferring when he attended college after that I have done courses on my own through them and about to do a 4th to work towards what I am hoping will be another advancement in my career I have recommend them to several friends who have also completed courses with them as well

Penn Foster College is billing my under-aged son (*** ***, P.OBox ***, Kaneohe, HI 96744) for services that I didn't consent to and not completed
