Worldwide Mobile Homes Reviews (32)

Revdex.com: (World Wide Homes) Anyone can print any type of document and/or paperwork and make it look professionalThat doesn't prove a thingI'm letting this go in respect for Mrs [redacted] because she asked me to, not because of World Wide HomesBefore I do, World Wide Homes needs to NOT tell people that they will make money off of a sold mobile home then turn around and tell them they get nothingThis is bad for businessWhen the home was first sold, World Wide Homes (***) told Mrs [redacted] (her daughter was present, and as witness, this was told to Mrs [redacted] ) that "remodeling was done inside the trailer and that nothing was worth keeping within the trailer." Also said was, " The $15,that was made on the trailer had covered the remodeling." The lady that purchased the trailer was CONTACTED and confirmed the trailer was purchased for $15,and there had been absolutely NO REMODELINGShe also told that since around April she has been waiting for World Wide Homes to come and finish connecting the trailer togetherAlso that it had been around months that World Wide Homes still did not produce the title for the trailer and that she was ready to return the trailer because she could not move into it, nor could she hook up utilities because she still had NOT received the titleIt doesn't take $15,to move, wrap, store a trailer (which the trailer wasn't stored but maybe a day before it was purchased)I can see that it would cost that much IF the trailer had been stored for several months, but the trailer wasn'tAlso, employees get paid by the hour to move trailers and there is no way all of this could have ever reached the sum of $15,Telling people what isn't true is bad for business and hopefully down the road this will be a lesson

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10467332. ***e [redacted] and [redacted] came out to my home on 03/02/15 and made a work order list. They were both stunned at the poor work that was done on the house. The reason my husband signed off on the previous work order is because the tech( [redacted] ) that came out to work told him World Wide would have to send another sub contractor out to fix the remaining work. All the tech did that day that my husband signed off on, was paint 1 wall and literally messed up the marriage line in the middle of the ceiling.... Thank you [redacted] ***

Re:  ID 10239354
[redacted] purchased a manufactured home from Worldwide Homes in April 2014.
Mrs [redacted] lived in an older doublewide.  Due to the age and condition of the used doublewide, Worldwide Homes could not take the home in on trade or resell it.  Worldwide Homes agreed...

to try to help broker the sale of her used doublewide from Mrs [redacted] to the purchaser, in order to save her the expense of removing and hauling the home to the county dump.  We explained to her at the time of purchase that removing the used doublewide from her property could get very costly.  The expenses would include" breaking and wrapping the doublewide (which was extremely difficult due to property size), welding tongues on each half, and fees charged by the dump for disposal.  We did think there was a good chance that we could broker the sale and help her avoid these expenses by selling the home directly to the purchaser.  Worldwide Homes at that point hired a mover to break and wrap the doublewide, weld the tongues on and bring it to a storage facility.  We eventually found a buyer, which purchased the home for $15,000.  The doublewide was sold as is; with the exception of delivering, blocking, tying down with all new setup materials as required by the state.  We titled from Mrs [redacted] to the purchaser and sent registered letters on Mrs [redacted]'s behalf due to the circumstance.  All of these expenses added up significantly.  We explained all of this to Mrs [redacted] as it happened.  Several months later her son, [redacted], called seeking money on Mrs [redacted]'s behalf.  We explained to him that he was not part of this contract and we could not talk to him regarding this matter.  At that point he became abrasive; we ended the phone call and contacted Mrs [redacted] directly.  We explained to her the cost of everything that had been done and told her we would gladly give her a copy of the paperwork to back up all of the costs and a bill of sale.  She said that would be fine.  The following Saturday, we once again received a phone call from [redacted], her son, seeking money of behalf of his mother.  Once again we told him that he was not part of this deal and could not speak with him regarding this matter.
The expenses incurred by sale of Mrs [redacted]'s old house were only a few hundred dollars shy of the $15,00 purchases price.
Thank you,
[redacted]

their home in May of 2014.  On August 18, I received a phone call from Mrs. [redacted], who was upset and wanted to know where her skirting was.  At that time I asked her to hold and went to pull her file.  Once I pulled the file, I got back on the phone and explained to her that I had the breakdown of costs which she and her husband both signed.  That breakdown shows she was not charged for skirting, which was the reason she had not received skirting.  She got very upset and threatened to get a lawyer because she was told she was getting skirting.  I offered to bring a copy of the contract to her that afternoon to show her she was not charged for it.  After going back and forth on the phone on who was right and who was wrong, she hung up on me.  However, after our conversation I went through the file and found where [redacted], the Salesman, had them sign a piece of paper stating what color skirting they wanted.  The next morning, I went over the paperwork with [redacted] and found the mistake.  At that point I called Mrs. [redacted] and asked her to call me back, Mr. [redacted] returned my call at that point, I apologized about the heated conversation between his wife and me.  I also explained that even though they were not charged, I see where the salesman made the mistake and could see why they could clearly think they were getting the skirting.  I agreed to get their skirting and make the salesman pay for it.  I am in the process of having their skirting delivered.  The reason I did not submit a proper response on this letter is because on August 20 when I received this letter, the issue had already been resolved and Mr. [redacted] said they were going to retract their complaint.

Complaint: 10239354
I am rejecting this response because they told my mother that she would IN FACT receive money when they sold my mother's double wide. She did not agree on letting them just have the trailer. She is owed money for the home and expects to get a good sum of the $15,000 World Wide Homes sold the home for. There was no paperwork from World Wide homes, so now they are taking advantage of the situation and are not paying my mother regardless if they made any money or not, they still owe for selling the home. World Wide homes, regardless if they made money or not, the home was sold and my Mrs. [redacted] is in fact entitled to a good sum of the money. World Wide Homes has been giving her nothing but the run around. The only thing Mrs. [redacted] agreed to was getting money made off the trailer. She needs to get paid or she will keep pursuing or even getting legal assistance until this matter is resolved.:
Sincerely,
[redacted]
