Sent in a check for my monthly payment of $and someone there put a in front of where I wrote and they cashed a check for $

If I could leave zero stars, I wouldTheir internet speed and consistency was mediocre at bestCome to find out when I want to cancel, they have auto-renewed me into another month contract after completing my original agreementNow I am stuck with a $cancellation fee! This my friends is what you call deceiving business practicesNot even Comcast stoops this lowBUYER BEWARE!

Double payment made to account XXXXXXX on 7/5/Bank faxed proof of clearing on 7/6/ To date, no refund or contact has been made
A double payment was made to my Knowlogy/Wow account (XXXXXXX) on July 5, 2016(I was double prompted to pay) I contacted Customer Service when I saw that a double payment had been debited from my checking account (7/5/16; *** I was told to wait for Corporate Office to contact me When called by corporate office (*** & *** I was told my bank would have to fax to XXX-XXX-XXXX proof of clearance which was done on July 6, at 4:p.m I called Customer Service on 7/8/(***)told me that no, there was no record of the FAX being receivedI was advised to call back on the next day I have called back each day excluding the week end and have been told that there is no record of the Fax being received; I was told Corporate Office has not noted the receipt in my account recordI was assured by each customer service representative

Recurring billing problems I have had an issues related to billing whether it be the incorrect amount or added fees or unauthorized withdraws
On 5/5/I attempted to pay my monthly bill of $on 5/10/$was deducted from my account without my authorizationI called WOW customer service times on 5/10/The 1st time I was told that I likely authorized auto pay on 5/5/when I tried to pay my bill and I should contact my bank to dispute the payment since it was showing as pendingI contacted the bank and they basically told me I needed to contact WOW to make sure they withdrew the chargeI called WOW back and spoke with another lady who told me it was nothing they could do since the transaction had already been processedShe said it took billing cycles to be enrolled with auto pay, so I questioned when it was that I enrolled, and she was not able to answerI am not sure what transaction was completed on 5/5/but it is very unclear to me how I could have been e

We were told that due to service problems we would be compensated with an upgraded service at the same price we were already paying
In April my husband called in to report service problems with our internet and cable We had missing channels and our internet service was consistently going out The Wow representative explained that we were missing channels because of the digital box upgrade that we were forced to get and to have the additional channels would be an upgrade to the account (i.ecost more money) My husband asked that because of the issues we had been having in service if we could be compensated for it The Representative told my husband that they would give him the additional channels at no additional cost He agreed July 16, we realized that the Wow company had been deducting $plus tax and fees each month since totaling unauthorized charges of over $ We called the company to try to get everything straightened out and they refused to acknowledg

I have had phone service interruptions for nearly a year They can't fix it nor will they let me out of my contract
I have been keeping track of our service issues since April of this year WOW confirmed that there is no problems with the equipment or wiring in my office and that it is an upstream issue that is a WOW issue I reported issues times in April and times in May Because all they did was restart the modem, I did not report the issues again until July In July, I requested to be let out of my contract They refused stating that there was not enough evidence that my service was interrupted Since August 11, until October 17, 2016...I have reported service interruptions WOW can not fix the issue and still refuses to let me out of my contract I am in the insurance industry and phone and internet are my life lines for doing business Without these, lose business Yet WOW refuses to let me out of my contract to find service with another provider

Earlier this year this company stated that I was due a refund of Then they stated that I owed for unreturned equipment and filed a complaint with the credit bureausI paid the because I had no alternative to satisfy the collection agencyI have been owed since March of this year with no resolutions after repeated phone callsThey also have not informed the credit bureau that I satisfied the debt

Failed to install service twice
On Jan I set up an appt time for Jan btwn 5-7pmNo technician showed upSo I called customer service they said they were told the tech was with me and I rescheduled for Jan Which was a lie
So I talked to a supervisor who gave me an all day appt on Jan
I waited all day, called every two hours to make sure the same thing wouldn't happen again
I then get a phone call from the tech at 827pm stating he can't make it
I immediately call customer service again, which I am now rescheduled for the third time
Installation fee was waive but doesn't seem sufficient enough for a new customer and inconvenience times
