It became impossible to work with the customer when they tried to do side deals with every employee or ex employee asking for a cheaper deal or gossip among the employees they could find by phone. We tried but could not reach any agreement with all the second and third opinions.
Our answer is we deny all of this story because each answer just leads to another complaint to the Revdex.comIf you read it, I hope you understand this long drout story for what it is.***

I am rejecting this response because:Here is my conversations with BM Transmission the day I pick up the vehicle and the next day when it broke downThey told me that the seal was replaced. This was one of the main problems that I needed fixI also agreed to pay for
half the cost of the new shaft but the vehicle was at their shop for days and no work was done.I paid another shop $to install a shafttook them daysI still need the seal replaced.the shaft fell off after BM installed it.I drove the vehicle over a week before taking it to them the first timeand after I pick it up the shaft fell off the vehicleThis complaint is only about vehicle #.I also have more text messages from BM in case there is any doubt about this BAD Transmission shop taking money and not honoring theit warranties or work. Also vehicle #that is not included on this complaint broke down last week, the transmission that was rebuild by BM transmission stopped working after I paid them $months agoit was under warranty but when I called them they refused to honor it because of this complaint, so that vehicle is being work on by another mechanicI will file another complaint

I have to talked to *** the manager several times about this vehicle and *** has told Mr*** that there is another underlying reason for example it could be the mass air flow sensor, tps, poor egr flowThe blazer has approx 198K miles on it which all of these engine performance issues I
listed above can effect how the transmission works after it gets to operating temperatureWhen the blazer left the transmission worked goodAfter Mr*** picked up the blazer and he called or days later the manager *** told Mr*** to bring the blazer back and we would check it outThis was almost months and Mr*** still has not brought the blazer back to the shop*** has told Mr*** to go get his engine issues checkout by licensed engine automotive repair shopB&M Transmission has another shop out near Round Rock TexasThe customer Mr*** can bring his blazer to the shop out near Round Rock Texas and we can check out the transmission and the engine performance issues. Sincerely, B&M Transmission Management

I am rejecting this response because:Nobody even contacted me???? I called and called, then finally a brand new manager answer the phoneI said omg can you just put my engine back in so I can get my car out of thereSeriously this is the third manager in the past two months! Side deals? What side deals! I just wanted my engine fix the right way before you going messed it up!
I went there a couple weeks ago nobody was around, just the *** mechanic and the *** mechanicThey were the only two working there, they hardly speak EnglishThey know me and my car though, they just laugh and said nobody’s been here for daysYou guys really need to close that shop downHow many managers in the past month seriously? Accusing me of side deals really?? Your mechanics know that my car didn’t sound like that when my car came in? Now it’s messed up and your last manager which was a couple weeks ago told the mechanic to keep his mouth shut! I just wanted my car fix! How hard was that? I paid money and more moneyThe car is still not running! Please put my car back together and don’t break anything else so I can come get it towed out of that shop! I don’t need to make any side deals! I have money! I need a good shop with good managers and mechanics! It’s sorry how you run your business because I know how many managers and mechanics you go through within a couple monthsThis is horrible, please don’t put anyone else through this!

other engine and automotive issuesThe customer knew this was a labor only no warranty jobSince the transmission was faulty that Mr*** had purchased from a junk yard, the junk yard paid for B&M Transmission to swap out the used junk yard unit againDuring the test drive after the 2nd unit was installed, the vehicle died due to his fuel pump going out or one of the other engine issues the vehicle already had when it came inB&M Transmission has explained several times in detail the other issues with his vehicleMr*** was given all of his receipts Sincerely,*** *** *** *** B&M Transmission

I am rejecting this response because:
First of all, I was absolutely not “fully informed of the procedure and risks associated with buying a used transmission from another source.” I received nothing in writing, and *** response to my proposition to provide my own transmission was a simple acknowledgement and agreementAnd I’m absolutely not expecting them to “warranty a transmission (they) did not rebuild.” I’m merely asking them to refund some of the installation costs due to their incompetenceMy complaint, which I articulated very clearly in my desired resolution, was based on the fact that they did not properly strip the old transmission of needed parts before installing the one I provided, even after I repeatedly got their verification that they had done so and, consequently, I lost the use of my vehicle for days unnecessarilyIn addition, it is obvious that they did not fully test their installation of the transmission, as they did not report to me that the transmission popped out of 5th gear every time it’s usedIn fact, I’m of the opinion that it’s not the used transmission that’s at fault, but rather their installation job which IS covered under their warrantyConsider this my rejection of their assertion, and that this needs to be escalated

I am rejecting this response because:
I reject their response based on two primary reasons (both of which I've asserted several times):First, because of their neglect (or incompetence, or ***' failure to communicate the necessary information), the technicians did not strip the necessary parts off of the old transmission that were vital to the installation of the new transmissionThey neglected to strip those parts off even after I obtained three separate confirmations that they had done so (twice via telephone with ***, once in person)Because they failed to do so (or, again, *** didn't bother to tell them), I lost the use of my vehicle unnecessarily for extra daysDoes B&M deny that basic set of facts?Second, the installation job they did with the transmission I provided was substandard, and, according to the mechanics I employed to fix B&M's work, was, in fact, dangerousThe bell housing bolts were extremely loose, the starter had not been properly secured after reinstallation, the transfer case was not properly reinstalled (also loose) and had lost much of its oil, and B&M used the wrong kind of oil for the transmission itselfDoes B&M deny those assertions?Again, the transmission I provided is not the issue at allThe problem lies in the lack of service I received, and then the shoddy work with which I take serious issue

out of our control and we sympathize with your frustration during this
experience because we strive to provide the best possible serviceWhen Mr***
originally towed in his vehicle for repairs it was only for his transmission
He authorized the repair and once it was completedMr*** started adding
numerous new repairs to be completed on his vehicleMr*** needed to have
his ball joints replaced, replaced spark plugs, replaced ignition cable,
cylinder head renewed (the top half of his engine), the front and rear window
regulators replacedMr*** paid $total for all of these repairs
including the transmission rebuildSince Mr*** was a repeat customer we
gave him a discountUsually this would cost $to complete all of these
repairs for any other customerThat being said Mr*** received more than a
percent discountHe gave the technician a $tip upon picking up the
vehicleAlso on the day Mr*** picked up the vehicle he brought his
mechanic who said that the repairs were completed correctlyMr*** was
informed that since he only chose to repair the top half of his engine due to
running out of money, our technician reminded Mr*** that upon pick up that
his bottom half of his engine need to be repaired as soon as possible *** *** *** ***

*** ** *** Revdex.com Complaint ID *** Buick Century R/O# *** TO WHOM THIS CONCERNS: After receiving the notification that *** *** had declined or rejected our first response we went back to the Manager ***) and asked him to write out his statement for us to submitThis is ***’s Written Statement: I clearly remember the phone call between *** *** and IHe asked how much it would cost to "rebuild" the transmission in his vehicle and I responded with the accurate answer of $That is the price for the exact definition of a transmission "rebuild" which is installing a rebuild kitHe did ask how much the "worst case scenario" would be and I explained to him that the "worst case scenario" would be that his transmission is unrepairable and would have to be completely replacedI then explained that the "worst case scenario" does not apply to his vehicle because his vehicle was still drivable and the transmission did not need to be replacedI NEVER said that $was the "worst case scenario" Once the vehicle was towed in ($75) and we had an opportunity to remove the transmission ($475) we found that the transmission needed more parts than what are included in a rebuild kitAn additional $in parts and laborI explained to *** *** that it would have been impossible to know if these parts were needed without seeing the inside of the transmissionHe agreed to the price of the repairs and asked if we had a "payment plan"I said we did and he would need to pay half of the bill to start and that he would have days to pay out the restHe then said he would come by after he got off work to fill out the necessary paperwork and pay the down paymentWhen *** *** arrived, I showed him the paperwork he needed to sign and explained to him that there would be a $fee if he wanted to use our financing planHe then became very irate, saying that I was trying to "rip him off" because I didn’t tell him about the $over the telephoneI agreed and apologized for not letting him know over the phoneI explained to him that if he didn’t want to agree to the terms of using our financing that he simply didn’t have to sign itI then explained that he wasn’t yet committed to continue with the next step in the rebuild process and that if he didn’t want us to finish repairing the additional parts needed to fix his transmission that all he owed us was $for the labor he approved to pull/remove the transmission from the vehicle and labor to tear down the transmission that we had already performed and how we came to know he needed additional parts to repair/fix his transmission and the $for us towing in the vehicle since we would not be completing the repairHe then became even more irate and said he should "take me outside and whip my as"I calmly explained to him that I was not going to tolerate him threatening me, that I am a much taller/larger man than him and that I would not be getting an "asswhippping"*** *** then stormed outside, ripped off his shirt aggressively while throwing it on the ground and stormed straight to the vehicle he arrived in and then retrieved TWO 4-foot-long about 2+ inches in diameter metal bars also known as torque wrenches Once I saw him coming towards the building, on our security cameras with those weapons I immediately dialed He never actually hit me with the weapons, but he did threaten me with them which was enough for the police to arrest him and file chargesHis wife returned the next day to pay the bill ($550.00) and said to leave the vehicle outside and she would have someone pick it upI informed her a flat-bed trailer or tow truck would be needed in order to avoid damage to the vehicleThe next day, she called and said they tried to "drag" the vehicle back to their house but were having too much trouble so they gave upShe asked if I could have our tow service tow the vehicle back to their houseI said I could for an additional $which she approved of(Our tow service to their house was on a flat-bed tow truck) After getting off the phone with her I went out to the vehicle and noticed a rope still attached to the steering gear of the vehicle(It had been cut off by the Causeys.) Trying to "drag" ANY car with a rope attached to the steering gear WILL DAMAGE THE VEHICLEThat damage was not caused by the work we performedIt was caused by the customer trying to "drag" the car by a rope tied to the steering gearWe verified his statement by listening to the actual phone calls between *** *** and our Manager ***, talking to other employees that witnessed the events in person and by watching all the video surveillance from every interaction associated with this vehicleThe complete satisfaction of our customers is our number one priority but the safety of our employees is extremely important to us as wellSincerely, B&M Transmission *** *** *** ***
