I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The reason this does not resolve my complaint, is because my complaint is related to refunding my shipping costs of $12.28, not to refunding the original purchase price of the item. Please refer to my original complaint which I pasted below for convenience. In short, they sent a broken item yet they will not pay for the return shipping. Naturally, if they hadn't sent a broken item, then I would not have needed to ship the item back, therefore WUDN should pay for the return shipping. See the attached refund which does not include the $12.28, only the item cost of $63. Original Complaint: I purchased a case for my iPhone 7 from WUDN. The product arrived about 1.5 months after I ordered it. One of the volume buttons on the case was locked into place, as in, I was unable to raise the volume on my phone while it was in the case. This is clearly an issue, for obvious reasons, such as the need to raise the volume when taking a phone call. I emailed customer service and asked for a refund, they provided the instructions to do so, but stated I would have to pay for the return shipping. I reminded the customer service representative, "Emma" that they sent a broken item to me and if they had not sent a broken item, it would not need to be shipped back. If I simply "didn't like" the item, I can understand that shipping is my responsibility, but to send a broken item, then require that the customer pay the return shipping is not the right thing to do. The business is at fault in this case.
