Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/10/05) */
Your vehicle was reported abandoned for more than hours and was requested to be towed by the propertyWe are required by law to report every vehicle to the local police department to confirm that it is not stolenAt that time, your vehicle
had still not been reported stolenYour vehicle was towed on July 23, at 6:13pmYou have days from that date to claim your vehicle before it becomes our propertyFurthermore, we are required to send certified letters notifying all parties with interest in the vehicle that we have possession within days of your vehicle being towedAs of now, we do not intend on any refunds
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/10/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We as the ones on the registration of the vehicle never received a letter from the wyatts towingFurther more we or my wife was given the wrong datesThe only thing we had to go off of was what we were told by some one that works for wyattsSo they may have notified the lean holderFor the actual persons that the car is registered to and insured tooWhy wouldnt you send them the letter? Doesnt make since and isnt they way it should beBoth owner and buyer should be informed with a letterI still think you should be responsible for not informing us properly and misinforming us to benefit your companyBy the way wyatts towing has and continues to do dirty to many peopleSome one needs to stop them from continuing to misinform and lying to benefit themThey say that they send a certified letter to the parties that have interest in the vehicle that would mean the person that is lean holder and the person the the vehicle is registered toI will say show me you sent us a certified letter with my name and address on it

On Tuesday January 31st we received notice that a *** *** was parked in an apartment complex parking lot that requires a valid parking permit. When our driver arrived they did take pictures of the *** showing there was no valid visible parking permit. The car was towed back to
our yard. When Mr*** arrived, our Customer Service Representative did make an error in her initial quote of $The actual balance was $so the representative made the adjustment of $on Mr***’s credit card. Mr*** did sign the credit card slip acknowledging the sale

You indicate that my car was towed because "it was not authorized." Your inadequate signage is intentionally misleading, and you know itYour drivers create revenue for your company by towing people who have no idea that they are illegally parkedThe signs are both virtually invisible (a violation of state law) and purposely vagueWe checked with the desk clerk at the hotel that evening, and he knew nothing about our car being towed, so your driver didn't even attempt to verify whether or not our car was authorizedThe photos below show, first, the spot that my car was towed from, with no visible signage anywhere near the spot, and second, the sign that we had to search for posted by your company which is completely invisible at night(image)

Your vehicle was towed because you were not authorized to park in their parking lotThe hotel has contracted us to help maintain their parking lot because there are issues with patrons of local bars, restaurants, etcparking in their lotThis creates problems for the actual guests of the hotel
We do not intend on refunding any part of the towing invoice or cab fare

Wyatt's Towing takes the [redacted] laws very seriously and every [redacted] complaint is handled with the utmost sensitivity. We are familiar and follow all laws that we are subject to. After reviewing this specific instance I found that we were well within the law with the current signage on property. We do not...

intend on refunding this invoice at this time.

What you are suggesting would be illegal. I can assure you that we pride ourselves on conducting business in an ethical manner that is confined by the law. If there is nothing specific that you are claiming, we understand that it may be inconvenient when your vehicle is towed, but we cannot take any further action at this time.

I am rejecting this response because: spot was not clearly marked. Without an above ground sign at night and with dirt and snow melt/water, the painted sign on the ground is not clearly visible. Also the employee took my wife's card into the office with her then came back later and swiped the card. Do you record the employees at the counter? Review tapes see if she took the card. Back with her.
Sincerely,

Your vehicle was towed for being too far out of your parking space. We do apologize for a miscommunication from our customer service representative. Our tow record reflected no parking area because it is a default violation that is set in our...

system. Our internal notes do not go on the tow invoice that you received. Had our representative looked more closely at the on scene notes they would have seen the correct information to relay to you. However, we do not intend to refund the amount paid for this violation.

street. The driver did not hear or see [redacted] approach him before he was off the property. Rather than just keep driving, the driver pulled into a neighboring property and had a conversation with [redacted]. Since he was no longer on the property the vehicle was towed from, the driver did not offer [redacted] a drop fee for drop fee notification card. The driver did offer to release the vehicle without chargin any mileage or storage since he had not taken the truck to the impound facility yet.Furthermore, the Public Utilities Commission has dismissed this case having no merit. We do not intend to refund any amount at this time. Thank you for providing [redacted]'s complaint and giving us a chance to respond. [redacted]'s vehicle was towed from an apartment complex known as the Rise at Cherry Creek because it did not have a permit.  The tow was authorized by Tony Manchango, who is an employee of Wyatts Towing.  He can be reached at 720-490-2662.  [redacted]'s vehicle was parked just a space or two into the property.  By the time he approached the driver, the tow truck and the truck being towed were already in the street.  The driver did not hear or see [redacted] approach him before he was off the property. It is unfortunate that your experience with us was not positive. Unfortunately without more information we will not be able to address the specifics of the property. While we would love to have a yard closer to each of the properties we service it is not always possible due to financial and zoning...

constraints. While Wyatt's is open 24/hrs a day 365 days a year there is an after hours fee that applies not during normal business hours (8am to 5pm). We apologize that your experience with our customer service agent was not positive. Our customer service agents do not tow vehicles and therefore are unaware where on property they have been parked. Our unique contracts with each property allows us to completely manage a properties vehicles without any support from the office. We apologize that your experience with us was not satisfactory but hope that you can understand our unique mission in servicing the properties as there management instructs.

Customer's refund was submitted for approval on Friday March 3rd.  The refund request has been approved and a check will be mailed within 48 hours.

I am rejecting this response because: The apartments told [redacted] at wyatts that all tows were put on hold because Wyatts...

was taking cars off the property they were NOT supposed to they ignored the request from the property and stole the car off the property. Wyatts the needs to be held responsible for their actions and also filled a complaint with the P.U.C OFFICE steeling property to make moneyis really embezzling and extorting money out of people when they did nothing wrong it was all the company and then treat people disrespectfully and to tell someone you have the right to steel the car because your name is on the signs on the building even though the property told them not to

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/09/11) */
On the morning of September 9th 2015, we received a phone call from an owner of a vehicle that claims we scratched her vehicle while placing a warning sticker on her driver side window. We retrieved our log of the vehicles that were tagged and...

her vehicle was not on the list. She claims that it looks like the monitor tried to remove the sticker. When our monitor is on property and finds a vehicle with expired tags, he creates the orange warning sticker and applies it on the window. He is now required to follow through our warning system by entering the Make, Model, Color, and License Plate along with pictures of the violation and the warning sticker (as to why he creates the warning sticker before completing the record). When he completed the record on this vehicle, our system alerted him that the vehicle is restricted. He then tried to remove the warning but was unsuccessful to remove it completely. The owner of the vehicle demanded that we come and remove the warning from the vehicle. We kindly explained that it is not procedure for our team remove warning labels. We explained the best way to remove the warning sticker is using a razor blade and Windex on the sticker and it will come right off. She became very defensive and explained that she is not willing to use a razor blade on her window. Regarding the alleged damage, it is highly unlikely that our team would have caused any damage to a vehicle while putting a small sticker on the window. Scratches are very common on vehicles and would be considered normal wear and tear. We do not intend on paying for any damage unless substantial proof that one of our team members is responsible can be provided.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/09/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There are several scartches on the window where the sticker was trying to be removed as well as a deep scartch in the paint between the widows. on the first day I contacted them I asked for there insurance carrier which in required by the state of colorado. Spoke to [redacted] who refused to give me the insurance information. I then contacted the PUC they gave me a insurance agent and a policy number which I have been unable to verify it seems this company is going without insurance. my apartment complex called them four day before and alerted them not to touch my veichle there policy as they say in they in their responce it is first to sticker the car then return to their veichle and then check which is appernently why he came back up and tried to remove it because it shouldnt have been stickered in the first place. this policy makes no sence and should be checked before hand. as in there respone and the day I spoked to her they use razor blades to take these stickers off the veichle which is the damage to my veichle. My car is a 2015 with less the 2000 miles on it the only damge on it is right by where the sticker was. This company needs to give me the insurance information and if they dont have any they should not be runing this company in Co. All I have wanted from the begining is for my vehicle that they damaged is fixed.

Your vehicle was towed for illegally parking in a fire lane. The tow was not related to your plates or registration. We do not intend to process any refunds at this time. Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because: this company is not morally right! Revdex.com needs to do some investigating into this company. You can find TONS of reviews online of this company towing cars that are NOT in violation! They've towed cars from people's residences where they have permission to park, along with many other examples of you look up their reviews. I DID eat at that McDonalds that day, therefore I WAS a customer & should have never been towed in the first place. These people are vultures & just running a business off of PURE GREED! They need to be investigated & SHUT DOWN! It is not ok to treat people in the community like this. They are not providing an ethical service, they are bullies! They could care less about your situation, they just want to collect the money. That's all they are about. I am going to submit a complaint with the local tv station & get others to submit their complaints as well. This is a SHADY business, extremely unprofessional & unethical. I hope I can contribute in some way to get them closed down for good! I've never dealt with a more awful company in my life! I will never patronize any business that is partnered with Wyatts & I will be sure to let them know why. Hopefully these businesses will eventually stop working with Wyatts & hurt their business. To be successful, you should care more about your reputation & how you treat the people in the community. Wyatts should be ashamed how they run their business! Disgusting!  (P.s. I uploaded a copy of my receipt from McDonalds that day showing I WAS there & towed for NO reason!!!)
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,

It is unfortunate that you had a negative experience with us. Without more information on the vehicle or the property it was towed from I would not be able to comment on those allegations regarding the signage. Do to the sensitive nature of our business our customer service agents may not always...

disclose their names if they feel uncomfortable with the way they are being communicated with.

We understand your position, but we do not intend to refund any money at this time. We stand by our initial response to your complaint.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:i am suggesting you are purposely doing something illegal and the facts are that you are a company that has the attitude you can do what ever you want and have no consequences for it you return tthe vehicle because you knew you were in the wrong [redacted] was told specifically not to take cars off the property and your company chose to do it anyways that is stuffed there are consequences to actions guess you had to eat the cost on that car but you took four other cars off this property when you weren't supposed to according to the owner and manager you think because you turned the car over with no cost that you made it right but what you are doing is illegal period and you should be held responsible for your actions of your company Wyatts Towing has always been known for a company that has no boundaries has the mentality of doing what they want taking money from people extorting money from people not one good person in Denver has a good thing to say about you yes [redacted] said the you have been in business for 15 years but that's because nobody hold you accountable for your actions I am going to continue pushing this matter until you are held accountable I understand we all have a job to do but you go out of your way to make your company money by taking Vehicles off properties that you were not supposed to take and you need to be held accountable for that
Sincerely,
[redacted]
