Review: My xbox live account was hacked and security questions changed. I have no access to my account. I have contacted Xbox support by chat, email, phone, and Twitter and have been given the run around. This has been going on for weeks. I just want my account back. I have all the original receipts and codes from when I purchased the Xbox and Xbox live.Desired Settlement: I would like my account back or an exchange or refund.

Review: I canceled xbox live Oct. [redacted] 2014, and have called numerous times to cancel and stop being billed. Yet every month I am billed $9.99 I want it to stop. Other than calling and doing it online there are not any other way to get them to leave me alone and stop billing me.Desired Settlement: I just want them to cancel my service that I haven't used in over a year and never bill me again.

Review: I currently contacted X-box live to refund me money they charged my card for with out my permission when k talked to them they would not refund me my money then the lady told me that they would charge me $9.99 for the refund I do not think this is rite an something needs to be done about it.. I have been battling with this company since September of 2015 to cancel a membership and have my credit card information removed. Apparently, a 15 year old can sign up for services with his own email account, and his own cell phone number but use his parents credit card to purchase via the internet. I do not recommend this company. I would think that after realizing what had happened, they would just cancel and remove my info and credit the charge. The supervisor stated the xbox had not used the service, but yet he still refused to refund the charge. Seems like bad business to me.

Review: XBox will not allow me to manage/cancel a subscription that I did not choose to renew, They changed thier terms of service, I could not access my account to turn off their newly instated auto renew. I cancelled my credit card but when I got a new card they somehow connected to it. I try and try to cancel this service but it leads me in circles never getting me into the screen they depict in the "how to cancel" subsection. To say thier service is opaque is an understatement. They owe me hundreds of dollars at this point!!!Desired Settlement: I want this auto renew cancelled and want a refund of all the charges I have been charged since they changed thir plan several years ago and would not allow me to access my account to turn it off my self! All of their links never directly go into your account. They just tell you how to cancel but never allow you to do it!!!

Review: 5 Years ago me and my wife signed up for Xbox live Gold 12 month auto renewal. The Xbox acct that was used had a email address attached to it that is no longer active ( old College email address), So every year we get a bill for close to 100 dollars for a service we have not even used or been able to use in 2-3 years. I tried to resolve this issue with Xbox live but their website always asked for a Sign-in which we do not have due to the expired email address. They also have no phone number to try to contact them at. They are impossible to reach.Desired Settlement: I want the business to CALL Me and Cancel our gold membership status. A refund would be nice for the past 2 years.

The main thing is ti get the issue resolved BY PHONE.

Review: Back in December of 2014 my yearly subscription ran out. At this time I was asked to renew so I opted for a 1 month membership knowing that I would be moving soon. Unbeknownst to me the 1 month membership renewed automatically every month without my knowledge. When I signed up for the 1 month membership it said 1 month membership not 1 month membership and we will charge your account every month. From January **, 2015 through July I have been charged $10.69 for a product that I do not even use nor was aware of until my fiance caught it on the bank statement. I was under the impression that I would be charged $10.69 at the time I purchased the 1 month subscription in December and the month would conclude in January. I feel like this is very devious on Xbox's end to mislead the consumer into thinking that when a product is purchased it will be for the stated period of time and not continue to renew without the consumer's consent. Furthermore after a conversation with a representative from Xbox this morning I was told I have to either call in or uncheck the box that says automatic renewal which I was completely unaware of. Seems to me this should be the other way around.Desired Settlement: From January through July I was charged $10.69 a month for a product I don't use and without my knowledge and consent. I would like to have $74.83 reimbursed back into the same account Xbox Live was taking the money from. 7 months X $10.69 = $74.83. I have the bank statements if they are required for your review.

Review: 12 years ago, when my husband was 18 years old he signed up for an XBOX live membership. He did not know how to sign up so a friend helped him to create an account. His friend created an email address for him because he needed and email address to sign up for XBOX live, then he created the XBOX account. My husband never knew the email address or password. The account at the time was charged to my debit card. We wanted to cancel the account but because we couldn't remember the account email address XBOX refused to cancel the subscription and continued to charge us. I had to go through my bank to have the charges disputed and removed. I had to cancel all my accounts & cards and get new ones so that XBOX could no longer charge us for this subscription. A few years ago, my husband decided that he wanted to sign up for XBOX live again. Again we wanted to cancel our subscription but b/c we did not have the email address they refused. I find this absolutely ridiculous. They can charge us for a service we have not even used in over a year. They have access to my credit card & no problem letting you sign up for a new account but when you want to cancel you cannot. My husband was told we have to go through the credit card company & report fraudulent charges, which I have done. This is criminal. This if Fraud. You are a huge company, ripping people off from their hard earned money. I do not see why an email address is the only thing preventing someone from cancelling the subscription. If we have a credit card number, the gamer tag, all our other information except for an email address, then we should be able to discontinue the service without any hassel. I'm sure you can look up the email address and give that information to the account holder who is paying all the bills. I will go through what ever legnths I need to, including filing criminal complaints with law enforcement as this is theft, fraud, scam. Your company needs to put something in place to be able to provide an email addressand cancel the subscription.Desired Settlement: I want a refund off all charges to my credit card made in the last three years. I am sure you can look up the fact that we have not used XBOX live under that gamer tag. I want to know the email address associated w/ the gamer tag and any passwords needed to access the XBOX account. CONSIDERRING I PAY THE BILL I SHOULD BE ABLE TO RECIEVE ANY INFORMATION REGARDING MY ACCOUNT THAT IS NECESSSAR. I WILL FILE A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. Following this, the Xbox Live Code was sent to the client on 06-**-2015 21:10:36 CET. First Contact On 06-**-2015 21:22:10 CET our Customer Service department received an email of the client: "I want a refund. Code not good." Following this, we replied and asked the client for more information on why the code could not be redeemed (Xbox Error code). This code provides us with more information on how to assist in a successful redemption of the Xbox Code. Sometimes, clients already have an Xbox Live Membership on their account what results in the fact that the Xbox Live Code cannot be redeemed. In other instances it happens that an account is inactive, what results in problems with the redemption. Second Contact On 06-**-2015 14:16:31 CET our Customer Service department received an email of the client in which the client said that the client would sent us a screenshot with more information on why the Xbox Live Code could not be redeemed. Based on the error code, we would have been able to assist with the redemption. Unfortunately, we have not received a screenshot with this information from the client. Claim via [redacted] The client filed a claim via [redacted]. After getting more complaints, we figured out that there was possibly something wrong with some Xbox Live 12 month codes. After contacting our supplier, we were informed on technical problems with some of the Xbox 12 month codes. Following this, we gave the clients concerned, the possibility to get a new working Xbox Live Code or a refund. As this client asked us for a refund, the money was refunded on 06-**-2015 15:28:05 CET. Sorry for any inconvenience caused We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. Following this undesirable situation, we have taken the necessary actions to prevent this in the future.

Review: on 12/**/15 I signed on to my xbox live account. there were several games advertised as free with a gold membership, which I have. I preceded to download the game. I noticed that it charged me $14.99 plus tax. I immediately called customer service to notify them. I began talk to a customer service representative named David. I explained to him what happened. I was met with complete disrespect. his tone was inappropriate and hostile. he told me that I needed glasses . I explained to them that I had a photo of the screen where the free game was advertised. when I asked to speak to his supervisor. upon speaking to the supervisor I was met with the same temperament. when I asked the supervisor if there was anyone above him I could speak to, he immediately disconnected me. they was unnecessarily rude. I did not, in no way, disrespect them or handle the matter unprofessionally. they were extremely unprofessional.Desired Settlement: if possible I would like the employees involved to face some sort of disciplinary action. No my issue was not resolved. I am being shorted on my subscription every time I buy a membership. I am being shorted 7 hours. Now I am reporting this to the Revdex.com and a detailed description of this stealing of time from my membership will be posted on [redacted] and any other social media I might come across. Every time anyone in my time zone buys a membership it is automatically shortened by 7 hours. That means that I am paying for 364 days and 17 hours....not a full 12 months as advertised. It should go by my time zone not Greenwich time zone....7 hours ahead of my time zone!

Review: I have purchased a 48 hour Xbox live Gold trial from this online company on August ** , 2015. Since I work two jobs I was unable to reedeem this code right away. In their confirmation email of purchase included A subject order number, The code itself, and a order summary overview. Nowhere in their email was terms or conditions stating complaints need to be filed within five days of purchase about nonfunctioning codes or that codes expire. Generally Xbox live redemption codes do not expire this is factual. I have contacted them stating their code does not work multiple emails back-and-forth they pretty much call me a liar and I have sent them proof screenshots and pictures of my private email private [redacted] account showing purchases and activations proving I have not activated this code now they will Not even respond back to me. They said they are willing to help and have to follow their procedures. I understand policy and procedure very well I am a police officer this is all over $3.98. On our website, it does state that this code can only function on an account that has not had a gold status before. Plus, this code only gives you a silver status. We assume that the customer has already been an gold member before, as the code stated as 'invalid' when trying to redeem it on his account. We have just checked the code on our trial account, and the code stated to give 48 hours of XBOX time, which means: valid. Nevertheless, to close this case we will decide in favour of the customer and reimburse the amount. This money will be on his account within a few days. For christmas I purchased my husband a second xbox one 1tb bundle which is located in our bedroom, our original day one xbox one is in the living room. I contacted support shortly after my husband hooked up the new 1tb bundle in the bedroom due to my xbox live gold account was not coming up on my two accounts. We checked the living room xbox one and my accounts were fine. I proceeded to contact xbox live support around December [redacted] 2015. I explained my husband just renewed the accounts ([redacted] and [redacted]) on November *, 2015. I went on to explain we paid one via bank card and one via ebgames one year code activation. According to the representative who I spoke with he could not find any account activity. He even went to see my husbands account and said the same thing yet my husbands accounts are fine on both xbox ones but mine are not. The representative said they would call me back the next day around 4:30p.m. I never got a phone call all I obtained is emails for a customer survey. I can't seem to get it through to xbox my account issue. This is not the first time my husband and I have had issues with xbox live gold.Desired Settlement: I hope to resolve this by having both my accounts [redacted] and [redacted] (emails for accounts: [redacted] and [redacted]) to be reactivated to my xbox live gold membership.

Review: Since renewing my account in January I have had several issues, I was unable to access downloadable content last month due to an issue with the Xbox live servers and most recently my account was issued a communications ban for 2 days. I pay 60 dollars a year for this service and have made several purchases from Xbox live. I have made several attempts to get this issue resolved with Xbox live support and was met with unsuccessful results and told that there was nothing that customer support could do. Again I pay 60 dollars a year for this subscription and am getting subpar customer satisfaction for my money!Desired Settlement: The communication ban needs to be lifted and I would like some credit for my other issues last month due to not being able to access items that I purchased for several days!
