Yellow Pages 365 Online Reviews (29)

Review: W received a phone call on or around the 18th of April. The phone call was from an alleged [redacted] with Yellow Pages 365 Online. She began to tell me that she saw that our advertising subscription was going to expire on April 30th. She gave me the option to just terminate it at this point and then I can reinstate it later on. From the moment she explained to me who she was I was unsure if we even had any sort of trial period or advertising contract/ agreement with this company. I told her I was unsure of the advertising with them and I would have to speak with the owner and check files to see if we do. She then said "Well I'll just cancel it now and you can reinstate it later." I told her no I do not want to do that because if I have until April 30 until it expires I would like to find out on my end what the situation is then make a decision. She said " that's fine I will call you back later". She again called later but I had not spoken with the owner yet. She called back Tuesday the 22nd and the owner of the company answered the phone. She gave him the same spiel she gave me. He stated we do not have any sort of advertising with you at this point. He asked her to send us proof of any sort of advertising agreement/ contract we have with the company and she said she would do that, "have a nice day" than hung up. I received another phone call near 11 am today (23 April) from this [redacted]. I explained she just spoke with my boss yesterday about the issue, she quickly realized who we were and that she did not mean to call us back. I asked her if she was going to send us proof of any type of advertising agreement she stated we had and she said yes. She tried to get off the phone but I asked her how she would send us that info and what address she has on file for us. She said she could not look that information up at this time. I asked her for her supervisors name and telephone number. She gave me the name Jody and they telephone number she had just called me from [redacted] After hanging up I then called the phone number, there was a general message asking for an extension and the option to hold for a rep. Once the gentleman answered I explained the situation to him and asked if he would look up my company information to see what they have on file for us. He asked for the company name so I told him. The situation quickly escalated from there. H stated there is no information on file for us and then with an attitude asked who I was. I told him I was the general manage so then he started calling me general manager sine I didn't want to give my name. I told him I couldn't believe how he was talking to me and that he was customer service for his company. We went back and forth for another 5 minutes while I tried to get an answer from him on why his company had contacted us and wont give us our company information they have on file or cannot find it in their system. He completely talked over me at this point while I kept trying to ask him a question. He did not give me his information and was extremely rude and unprofessional. I am not sure if this is how this company just conducts business by trying to fool business owners into thinking they had an account and signing them up for one on the spot or what their goal is. It all sounds like a huge scam and a waste of valuable time on our end.Desired Settlement: Ideally We would like a combination of settlements. First we just want the Revdex.com to have this information on this company. Second, if this company and contact number is legitimate, we would like a phone call or email from the company explaining their actions during this situation. We also would hope this company some day has repercussions for their actions and therefore is restricted from trying to solicit business in this manner.

Review: We have been contacted several times by Yellow Pages 365 Online requesting payment in the amount of $559.99 for online advertising that was never ordered. We had never heard of them until June when they sent us an invoice stating it was past due. When I asked [redacted] for information on my account such as when advertising was ordered as well as a confirmation number, he said he was not authorized to look at my account and would have to talk to another department and call me back in a week with the information requested. When [redacted] called me at 7:40am on July 3, he had a recording for me to listen to that was supposed to be a confirmation of our order, yet the recording was actually a confirmation of our cancellation. We were not informed that the conversation was going to be recorded.

[redacted] informed me that information regarding our advertisement was mailed to us, yet it never was. We have no records indicating ordering advertising from Yellow Pages 365 Online. [redacted] also could not tell me anything about our advertisement, just that I would have to look it up myself on their website. When I did, all it had was our Post Office mailing address and phone number. What good will that do our company if a physical address is not listed and no information is given about our merchandise sold? That was proof enough that we did not order any advertising from them. There is also no proof of contract with this company.Desired Settlement: I want them to cancel the charges on our account and to stop contacting our company.

Review: This company contacted me regarding our firm's "online listing", which we do not have with this company. They asked if I would like to renew; I told them we do not wish to do anything with their company and they said they would remove us from their listings. A few weeks later I received another call asking about an unpaid invoice. I asked them to fax it over, which they did. This company is alleging that that our firm owes them $559.99 for "online advertising service fee". There is no contract between our firm and this company. This is a scam and a fraud.Desired Settlement: This company should be reprimanded and investigated immediately for wrongful practices.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: I was contacted by this company a month ago and asked if I wanted to renew my subscription with them. I had no idea what they were talking about and have no documentation of ever signing up with their company. I have since received two bills in the mail totaling $500. I believe this is a scam and will not be paying them anything.
