As on the attached examples, the invoices show the date to which the subscription is paid until and also inform the customer that delivery will continue until Customer Service is called at ###-###-####.With this stated, however, we at the York Newspaper Company make every attempt to satisfy the delivery needs of our customers and therefore will waive the $25.40 due on the subscription account.

I have put through the requested refund and the customer should receive it in about 10 days.   I also left a VM for customer and responded with an email as well.  The customer has my direct phone number to follow up. Bob T[redacted]

Months ago I received a call from an outsource company in Pittsburgh that offered me 13 weeks of newspaper for $19 + some odd cents prepaid or $22. + some odd cents billed. I rec'd 2 bills one for $65. 7 days a week paper & one for $42.90 for the York Dispatch 5 weekday papers Mon. thru. Fri. This was not what I was offered by the person in Pittsburgh.
Until today I was waiting from the supervisor of customer service in York to call me back. I had called once before many weeks ago and was told she was out due to a personal problem. Today I called and found out the Billing & Customer Service Dept. is in Louisville, KY. Mike has sent a request to the Acct. Dept. as to the amount I was quoted.
All my notes are in the shed since I had to empty out the house for new flooring & I have not gotten everything back in.
Why only 4 complaints for this company is unrealistic. Maybe most people today do not know what Revdex.com is at all.
And, much more since I have been here 30 years. And, I have had many experiences over the years.
LETS MAKE NOTE OF SOME THING ELSE: Approx. 2 years ago the paper TOOK and very large increase that no one else would have been allowed. And another large one since then. For what - LESS paper articles and articles that tell you to go to their internet to SEE the criminal photo Boy what an public service that is. And, how you must pay to see complete details say of an obituary. Also, I had to put in the paper 3 out-of-town obits. this year which each cost almost #00.00 each for a one day showing the Daily Record & York Dispatch. The York Dispatch was an evening paper but it how comes WITH the morning g paper around 4 a.m. at my house.
You can say at this time it is resolved but not until I get my next bill. We shell see.

I spoke to the customer this morning and explained that the $58 was not "owed" - it was only to continue future service.  The account is currently stopped and there is no balance owed on the account. Thanks,Bob T[redacted]Distribution Director

Review: Newspaper delivery absolutely horrible. Missed papers, wet papers, papers delivered after placing vacation stops ( on last vacation, last week) and on previous vacations ) Just received a bill for continuing delivery and there was a 65 % price increase. I cancelled my subscription. I was a customer for 30 plus years. I had same carrier for at least past 12 years. I lived at same address for past 30.Desired Settlement: Terminate the paper carrier (s)

Review: We paid for a year's worth of Sunday papers on 5/21/2014 by way of check in the amount of $54.60. We are moving out of state on 11/24/2014 and called to stops delivery. We expected a refund but were told they do not refund partial amounts. We talked with a lady named "Beth".Desired Settlement: We feel a refund is warranted in the amount of $27.30.

I am rejecting this response because: I am still waiting to receive my refund check from the York Daily Record. I talked to someone on the phone last week about it and was told it had been "sent out" to my old address at [redacted] PA [redacted], but it has not arrived as of December 6, 2014.
