My name is [redacted] I had a young man knock on my door yesterday selling magazines, I never listen to anybody when they come to my door Soliciting ! But I decided to listen to this young man his name is [redacted] and everything he told me about the company how they saved his life and he would be ALIVE if it wasn't for Young People Working So I bought my first product from a door to door salesman It was a great experience

I was sold a bill of goods by being told a story that the magazine subscription I purchased would be used to send issues to a military member overseasNot knowing if this would be male or female I picked a fairly neutral magazine like "Runners World" and gave the salesmen a check for the subscription Several months later I received an issue of Maxim and subsequent months followed and then an issue of PlayboyNot having signed up for either did some research and found the subscriptions had come through a company in FLContacting that company I was referred to Young People Working, LLC and provided with some reference numbersAttempting to call the numbers found on the web and provided by the FL company were either continuously busy or disconnectedI have sent them a letter but don't expect anything to come of itStay away from this company and their representatives

I ordered a magazine subscription from a young man trying to earn a trip I did so on June 26, TO DATE>...I have NOT received my magazine and my check has been cashed!

I purchased a magazine subscription for my daughter, unfortunately prior to reading reviews, and I have never received the magazine it has been well over the wait period And have yet to see anything for this Do not waste your money on these and I regret doing it for once after years of saying no Do not believe these kids as they are pawns selling magazines and books for a deserved "trip" as a prize this is just another scam

'BAIT & SWITCH'Without obtaining a permit through our City Office, guys sold me one magazine & when I received an incorrect magazine (& their company conveniently does NOT have a phone number on their receipts), I called the magazine & was told (his name was '***', (nice guy)) that since I had ordered through a 3rd-party, I needed to call them (Young People Working, LLC.), & he helpfully told me the #He also told me that they (the INCORRECT magazine subscription office) received complaint calls REGULARLY due to YPW, LLC's, & other companies' 'BAIT & SWITCH' practicesHe told me they used all kinds of ruse tactics to sell mag subscriptions, mainly from contests for trips or college money, & that the guys were probably sitting on a beach in Tahiti sipping margaritasI called the YPW, LLC# & the gal I spoke with, '***', said I would NOT get a refund because I had "received A SIMILAR magazine, because the one I had paid for wasn't available"! I asked for her supervisor, upon which, '***', told me she didn't have a supervisor, is the Office Manager, she wrote her own paychecks & that an accounting firm did all the refunds, then refused to "give that (phone #) out to laymen." If this is not a scam, idk what is! Somebody's GOT to shut this company downThis experience has ruined any chances a LEGITIMATE COMPANY OR COLLEGE STUDENT had in door-to-door sales at my home and with my family

I purchased an order of Disney frozen books from a young man by the name of *** on May 7th of I currently as of today July 21st I still have not received any contact or notification on my order I have tried several times to reach the company and all I get is a busy signal I'm beginning to wonder if this company was for real or if I had just been taken I did pay for the order in full a $if you can help get any results on this that would be very helpful again they were for my daughter for her birthday and I still do not have the book

I absolutely cannot understand why I ordered a NFL jersey on October, 16th and have yet to receive the merchandiseThey also swindled my beloved friend into purchasing a childrens magazine subscription and she never recieved her merchandiseI have tried calling numerous times and either get a busy signal or this is the wrong number messageI paid for so called custom NFL Jaguars jersey that again I never recievedAt this point I have chalked it up as a loss but I feel that others should have some knowledge of what this company is actually about, they took advantage of me and my elderly friendThe seller's name is Matthew ***

Total fraud and scamPls google this company to understand the level of exploitation and fraud door to door magazine sales encompass
I lost $via a flat out scam from this company

SORRY I was also to trusting, do not believe fast talking, very polite, condescending young men! I ordered mag and was pressured into paying at least partial in cash so they could get something to eat for supper but really wanted it all in cashI know STUPID! PLEASE DO NOT ORDER !!! SHUT THESE GUYS DOWN FOR GOOD!

This company is a rip off. I cancelled my order with this company the day of the order. They are "claiming" they never received the complaint and now I am stuck with a magazine that I do not want. A process fee of 16.00 was included in this. What are you processing? I have been waiting to receive my check back and finally spoke to them. They will not fix this issue because of their "claim" they did not receive my cancellation. This is just another way to rip people off. I hope they never come to my neighborhood again. My neighbors have all been informed to never accept business from them.

Can't get a response to cancel this transaction! Mailed my 3 day cancelation slip back and have heard a thing nor have I been credited back! I just would like my money back!

ok, now I'm upset. In May of 2015 (and I don't care if this is issue over one year), I was sitting outside with my mother inlaw and a nice young gentle men name of [redacted] came to me to see if we could purchase magazines from him. And I spent over $150.00 on two magazines and only received one that I paid cash for (and have receipts). My father In Law was suppose to be getting a magazine called "Out Magazine", he was sick with cancer, so I was busy with him and my mother inlaw who totally handicapped so time was flying and now I'm finding the receipt. I paid $62.00 for this magazine and he never received it. I have invoice number of 76337 I gave cash (and have receipt) to a Johnathon [redacted]s. I'm thinking possibly since he asked me if he could separate the two magazine since 2 addresses, he might of kept( the money ($62.00) for himself. I believe your business owes me this money! The kids selling these magazines should of had a leader who would ck. the receipt books and the numbers on each one of the pages, so no fraud.---

I purchased a SUBSCRIPTION to two magazines back in May 2015 and still have not received my subscriptions. I wrote checks for the 2 Subscriptions. Which have been CASHED, but I have yet to receive anything. I was skeptical of this Door-to-Door subscription service from the beginning and now feel I may have indeed been SCAMMED. The young lady was bubbly and very personable. However, she was a bit over the top....

I have spoken to my bank and they will reverse the charges if I choose too.

I am willing to give them a little more time to come through with these subscriptions. It has been 2 Months. (Might take take that long)

The fact I heard NOTHING from them yet.. Leads me to believe I am out my $100

I think this business is a scam. I cancelled my subscription the same day I subscribed. I was within the allowed time. That was 3/16/15. Today is 4/29/15 and I have not heard what has happened to my refund. I have called several times. My advice is stay away from this group.

My wife ordered a magazine for our great grand daughter in may of 2015. Well needless to say we have never got any magazines to this date. Either send us a magazine or send us our money back of $59.00 dollar's.

I was approached in a local Walmart by a young man asking for my help in a contest. The first impression I got was that the contest was for a college thing and that he was trying to beat his classmates. He was very charming and he said that he wanted my help in getting enough points to win. As someone who has helped students with contests and surveys for actual school projects, I thought that was a reasonable assumption. It wasn't until after we had been talking for a while (about things like hobbies and interests) that he brought out "pamphlets". Pamphlets that weren't much more than cheaply laminated pieces of paper. I found out that he was looking for subscriptions after I asked him why he wanted me to pick things off a list. I told him that I didn't want any magazines so he pulled out a list of Bibles I could pick from. I gave in after a while and chose a children's Bible I could use as a gift. I didn't find out the price until he was writing up the receipt, and I was shocked at the price. $72 dollars for a children's Bible? Unfortunately I am a panicky person who is horrible at asserting myself. I didn't really want the Bible in the first place and I definitely didn't want it for that much money, but at that point I was feeling kind of cornered so I let him walk me up to the ATM so I could get cash.
Long story short: I was a complete it who let herself get suckered into buying an overpriced Bible (I looked it up and the collector's edition only costs $40). I was tired after a long day at work, I hadn't eaten yet, and I was stressed out about having to get home before my grandmother who I was caring for started worrying about where I was. The receipt says that you can cancel by letter postmarked within three business days from the date written on the receipt to get a refund, but because my weekend was so hectic I didn't even try until after those three days had passed. Now I just feel stupid. The company doesn't appear to have a website and their Facebook page seems to be down. While looking for information on Young People Working LLC my results were essentially the Revdex.com webpage and a suspicious Craigslist ad. I wish I owned a smart phone so I can look stuff like this up during encounters like these instead of after.

I bought a subscription to Readers Digest for $60.00. He told me that I would get the first magazine within 30 days. It has now been 3 months and I have not received any Readers Digest.
