Good Afternoon, After reviewing the members contract that was signed with Professional Fitness we are not showing anything in regards to a facility called Renegade Fitness We sent member a copy of his contract which shows the services would be offered at a gym called WOW in Norwich same address that member provided (Salem Turnpike Norwich Ct 06360)Member has also been advised at this time with the contract on file he is month to month until a day notice for cancellation is receivedWe are always happy to review membership if the member can provide proof of previous cancellation applied to the membershipUnfortunately at this time members contract is still active until we receive notice to cancel or proof of previous cancellationPlease let us know if we can further assist this member in regards to his membershipThank you Peak Payment

Member, Personal training was deleted in the Peak System as of 12/31/with day notice for cancellation that was received on 12/01/we replied to that same email request on 12/04/letting you know that it would expire on 12/31/2017.The balance that you are being contacted about is for a disputed payment from 11/30/which per our records was the last payment required for the pt agreement with notice to cancelBecause you disputed the payment your membership is now also behind on monthly duesIt may be best for you to contact us to further discuss the membership and information in regards to the pt that was once on your membershipSincerely, Peak Payment

I am sorry that you feel this information is contradictoryHere is the cancellation options I see outlined in your terms of agreementADDITIONAL RIGHTS TO CANCELLATION: You or your estate may also cancel this contract for any of the following reasons: 1.-If upon a doctor's order, you cannot physically or medically receive the services because of significant physical or medical disability for a period in excess of three months; In case of your death; If the health club services to be provided under this contract are not available because the Seller fails to open a planned health club or location, permanently discontinues operation of a health club or location, or substantially changes the operation of a health club or location; If you move either your residence or your place of employment more than miles from any health club operated by the Seller or a substantially similar health club which will accept the Seller's obligation under the contract5.You may cancel this contract at any time, provided your account is in good status, by providing a thirty (30) day written notice of cancellation and paying a cancellation fee that is the lesser of $or 25% of the value of the unused sessionsOf course for any of these options to apply your membership would have to be paid current prior to us cancellingPlease contact us if you have questions in regards to these cancellation options outlined in the terms of agreementSincerely Peak Payment

To whom it may concern, We are sorry to hear that the member is not satisfied with the terms of agreement she has signed up forAs the billing company for Professional Fitness we are hired to handle the cancellations based upon members terms of agreementI show this member entered into a One
year contract on 05/23/for payments of $and paid the first and last months dues at the time her contract was signed If the member chooses not to complete the term they agreed upon Professional Fitness does allow them to buy out of the contract for the $fee and day noticeThis is something not listed in the contract because it does not have to be offered to members they offer it as a courtesy to cancel earlyMembers signature on contract does state that they have read and agreed to all the above termsUnfortunately if the member did not read the contract prior to joining the only option we have to cancel at will is the buy out option We are more than happy to review all terms with member and assist in anyway possible as stated in the terms of members agreement. In response to this complaint form member *** we would be happy to help the member with cancellation of her contractWe have information from our clients on how they allow members to cancel their contract when they are still in contract termFor this members club they require that members
permanently relocate more than miles from their present locations and their new residence must be more than miles from the club and any substantially similar facilities in the areaWe are here to back the clubs contracts that members sign for and this information is included in the signed agreementThis club also provides their members with the option to cancel early by paying a buy out of 50% of the remaining contract balanceAt this time all of these options have been provided to the member as of 1/11/and we would be happy to further assist this member with cancellationReviewing the members terms of agreement that we have to follow she will not be able to cancel this agreement early unless she pays the 50% buy out, based off the information she provided to us she does not meet the mileage requirements as listed in her contract. I am rejecting this response because:I am not the gym membership you are referring toMy dispute is for the the personal trainer month membership.Lighthouse fitness previously handled thisAt my last month of billing I called them to find out what needs to be done at the end of months and make sure I wouldn't be chargedI was told that I didn't have to take any further actionsSince Peak fitness took over the account they are now charging me for a month after my membership endedI was told I had to provided something from Lighthouse stating this and I have tried to get copies of the notes on my account but I am being told the gym has it and they don't have any account informationI called the gym and was told they don't have the information and every time I called Peak they only have information for my gym membership but not personal trainer and they do not have any notes other than I was told to contact the gymThe gym doesn't take billing calls but refers me to one of these billing companies

Good Morning, In response we see that member called back in October as she stated wanting to know how much time was left on her contract with Fit BootcampOur records show at this time member was advised of the time left and also how to cancel the auto renewalMember was sent our email on
this same day that had all of our information email, mailing address and contact information to cancel her membershipThere was no further contact from the member until 03/03/At this time we will honor members contract terms that states a day written notice for cancellation is required to cancel the auto renewalClub has also waived the last payment for March so member will have no further billing at this time and no refund would be due to member because her contract was still active at the time she is requesting she be refunded. 01/03/2017 with Club Fitness for a total of 24 months. If you would like to receive these records we would be happy to provide them too you. In regards to collecting on a debt we simply are just contacting numbers provided at the time of joining to help assist with getting balances current on the membership before the club decides to send them to an outsourced collections agency of their choice.
