Your 1 Plumber Reviews (28)

My experience with Your 1 Plumber was positive. He was polite, knowledgeable and got the job done quickly. I have already recommeded them to my friend.

Eric P. was my plumber from Your 1 Plumber. They actually came only 1 hour after I called, which was important to me. We had a kitchen drain stoppage that turned out to be MUCH more complicated than it seemed to be at first. There was A LOT of stuff stuck in the drain - hard, black greasy material that required extensive and prolonged snaking. Eric was cheerful through it all, including getting doused with some of the black liquid. He cleaned up after himself for the most part, although that stuff really gets everywhere. The most important part is that the drain worked well after all was said and done! I would rank his plumbing knowledge, service and good humor at a 10. To be honest, his clean-up was a little lacking, although he tried really hard and had the cards stacked against him due to the nature of the material he was dealing with. It would not stop me from requesting him again, as I think he is an excellent plumber and a really personable guy. The price was more than initially quoted, but still pretty reasonable; the job took a lot longer than we initially thought it would take, mainly due to the nature of the problem.

I was pleased with the service that I received from Your 1 Plumber LLC on Tuesday, 8/1/16. I called mid-morning and was able to get an appointment same-day.
Erik, the technician was able to solve my problem. He offered some explanation and helpful suggestions for the next time I have issues with my hot water heater.

Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable technicians. I highly
recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing service. They explained and showed me the problems I had that made it happen. The parts replaced were also shown which made me feel more better with the price I paid. For the good service I don't mine.
Great job !

Your 1 Plumber responded to my need for a new hot water heater immediately ... within 30 minutes of my call. William K was the service tech who helped me find the best price and installed the new water heater. He was by far the most knowledgeable, efficient and polite service man I have ever met.

Review: they charged four times too much for the service
It took an hour and a half, required two lengths of copper pipe and two valves and charged $
I checked with other plumbers afterwards and found out they would have charged @ $
I thought he was there to give an estimateThe sales person lied and said he was there to do the jobI could not
reach my husband to verifymy husband had just asked for an estimate
I am a woman, years old, and I was fooled!Desired Settlement: refund at least $

[redacted] And [redacted]

Dear
[redacted][redacted],
Thank you for entrusting us with your plumbing
service needsYour expression of confidence in our company is sincerely
appreciated
Thank you for expressing your concerns
about the price of our last visit to [redacted] residentsI have reviewed his file
carefully and discussed it with the technician who did the workThe charge was
correct for the work that was doneOur goal is to provide all our customers
with high quality, professional serviceOrganizations such as yours help us
assess and improve areas of our service, which are perceived as less than first
class
I am a little bit surprised by this
complaint considering [redacted] and I had a discussion on Friday 3, and
had come to an agreement of a refund of 5% of the Invoice amountThe check was sent on Monday 5/06/with
check # [redacted] Please also find attached
a copy of the InvoiceHere again is an
explanation of our pricing
To provide the kind of service we want our
customers to have, we have done extensive research into the pricing of tasks
our technicians performThis includes not only the nature of the task itself,
but also such things as materials cost, average labor burden, overhead, taxes
and profitThe price paid came from that research
Your Plumber, LLC, following the lead of
other major retail service organizations such as [redacted] and [redacted]
implemented an “Up Front” pricing system several years agoMany other
industries, such as the automotive industry, namely auto body shops, muffler
shops and oil changing facilities have also used this pricing method
The main reason for this pricing method is
because customers want to know how much the job is going to cost before any
work beginsThis method of pricing
gives the consumer, exactly what they are looking for; then they
have the opportunity to simply say yes or no to that price
It was in response to pricing concerns
that we implemented our Menu Pricing SystemWe call it “Up Front Pricing,”
because our customers are assured in writing, in advance, what the complete
price for their job will beThat way they can consider the proposal
and approve
it or not before our technician even starts to perform the repairThis
gives peace of mind because there are no worries like “Will this technician
ever finish?” or “What if the technician runs into something unexpected?” plus they
won’t have to pay extra for a less experienced or slow technician, since the
price doesn’t depend on how long any particular job takes
Up Front Prices
are delivered by calculating vital data such as; material averages and time
averagesOverhead items such; as
performing criminal background
checks on all of the employees that we send out to the homeLicensed and trained Plumbers and Heating
& Air Conditioning technicians perform all service callsWe drug test all field employees, with ongoing random
testing for our customer’s protection
We carry excess liability
insurance that exceeds the replacement value of the homes that we work in
for your peace of mind; the list could go on and onOur clients’ personal
safety is one of our main concernsIt does come at a premium cost but most of
our clients feel it’s well worth the expense
Of course, it’s possible to cut corners in
order to reduce pricesMay I ask you which one of these items would you like
to sacrifice so that we may be able to lower our prices? Should we sacrifice the licensed technician
that performs the necessary task? Should we stop checking employee’s background
or drug testing them? Maybe reducing the amount of insurance, therefore not
carrying proper amount of insurance to cover misfortunes? Our experience, though, has taught us that
bargain basement service is really no bargain at allCustomer satisfaction is
our highest priority here at Sanford Kramer Plumbing, Heating, and Air
Conditioning Inc., and we have found that prompt service expertly done is the
best way to keep our customers happy
We wish it were
possible to render quality service for lessUnfortunately, today’s economy
makes things more expensive than we would like, including the basic elements
that go into quality service and proper repairs
Thank you for your assistance in resolving
this customer issue
Sincerely
yours,

Technician was excellent and on time.

Review: We had a main sewer line blockage and sewage was entering into the home. We contracted Your 1 Plumber, LLC on 4/11/2014 to have them perform a main line clean out. We only decided to go with their service (despite being more expensive than competitors) because the service technician said all work was given a 3-month guarantee. We contacted Your 1 Plumber, LLC on 5/31/2014 to schedule a follow up as the problem returned. A customer service representative told us that the work only had a 1-month guarantee, which was contradictory to what we were told and agreed upon. They then refused to provide follow up services without additional compensation. There is also nothing in the invoice that clearly states the terms and conditions. We have contacted Your 1 Plumber, LLC for a copy of the signed contract but they have refused any further communications. Your 1 Plumber, LLC seems to have been dishonest about their terms and conditions.

On 6/3/2014, we contracted another plumber for a consultation. They determined that the blockage was the county's responsibility as water was pooling before the street clean-out outside the home. This plumber did not charge us, but, instead, provided us the contact details for the [redacted] County utilities emergency line. Shortly after, the county hydro-jetted the sewer line and cleared the blockage without us having to spend any additional money. Your 1 Plumber, LLC seems to have rendered services that could have been addressed by the responsible party. Instead, they were happy to take our money for unnecessary services.
