Zag Motors Reviews (30)

Dear Sir/Madam, We’d like to thank the customer for reaching out to us through youIt’s always a priority for us to look into customers’ concerns and to treat these concerns with a lot of seriousness Here are the facts that I gathered after reviewing this deal Our listed price for the vehicle at time of purchase was $15, At time of purchase, the customer negotiated the price down to $15,(to match the Kelly Blue Book recommended retail price.) As you can see, the customer was not misled through the process of the sale Please contact me with any further questions or clarification Sincerely, Brittany P [redacted] Controller

Unfortunately, I'm unable to scan and send you the contract from Wells Fargo due to Zag Motors informing me that they needed to relocate itEven when I was still living out in Seattle, I went to Zag Motors multiple times asking them to give me a copy, but would always be given some sort of excuse of why they couldn't find itSince moving to California, I've called Zag Motors several times asking them that I need a copy of the supposed cancelled/ denied contract from Wells Fargo and their response to me continues to be " okay, they have to look for it." It's been two months and I have not heard anything from them or received the documents regarding the copy of the cancelled contract from Wells Fargo that I asked for

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Sincerely, [redacted]

[redacted] Revdex.com Resolutions Consultant Re: [redacted] Dear Ms [redacted] : We are in receipt of the letter Ms [redacted] filed with the Revdex.com on September 14, Please consider this letter as Independence Auto Center’s response Ms [redacted] purchased her previously owned vehicle in December At the time of the sale, Ms [redacted] agreed to purchase the vehicle “As-Is” and without warranty of any kind Although our dealership offers extended service contracts to its customers, Ms [redacted] elected to not purchase a service contract for her vehicle Although we did not have a legal obligation to do, Independence Auto Center previously offered to accept the vehicle in on trade in order to give Ms [redacted] an opportunity to obtain a vehicle that is more suitable for her needs If Ms [redacted] is interested in looking into options for a different vehicle, she should contact the dealership and ask to speak to me Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond to this issue Please let me know if you need any additional information from Independence Auto Center Sincerely, Brittany P [redacted]

Dear [redacted] , We are in receipt of your letter dated 10/25/regarding the complaint filed by [redacted] (ID # [redacted] .) I’m the controller for ZAG Motors, and please consider this email as ZAG Motors’ response [redacted] signed a retail installment contract clearly stating the terms of the deal, including the interest rateInterest rates are set by lenders depending on things like the customer’s credit report (ZAG Motors doesn’t set the interest rates.) We are not sure why there is confusion about the interest rate since the retail installment contract clearly states the rate and the contract was signed by [redacted] Please let me know if you need any additional information Regards, Brittany L [redacted] Controller Tell us why here

I am rejecting this response because: that is not what the company ZAGG MOTORS had informed meI spoke to WELLS FARGO regarding the supposed contract that was signed with them saying that I was financed through them, I spoke to a representative from WELLS FARGO and they informed me that they had no history of ever financing me nor canceling a contract after it had already been signedSo when I went back to the ZAGG MOTORS to confront them and ask them to show me proof of the financed contract that the dealership was stating that was being cancelled and if I could obtain a copy of the supposed cancelled contract from WELLS FARGO they denied me completely, and anytime I requested any information from them they would just give me a story on how they couldn't or how they couldn't find it anymoreThe contract of finance that I had originally signed with WELLS FARGO was only for a 13% interest rate and when they had me come in to sign the new one they stated and showed to me that all the number stayed the same including the interest rate excrete, and so when I got home to review the contract again the interest rate went from a 13% to a whole 30%.Another problem that I had with the dealership is that they gave me GAP insurance without advising me and charging me a $1,for it without an honest consent, as well as charging me $for extra accessories that I never received on or for the car. So to make this straight and to the point I originally signed a contract with WELLS FARGO with much better terms and then the next day I receive a phone call from a representative from ZAGG MOTORS telling me that WELLS FARGO dropped the contract and that I HAD to go with this other company insteadSo then I come to find out after doing some research that WELLS FARGO never got anything from the company ZAGG MOTORS and as I spoke to the representative from WELLS FARGO that they indeed would have approved me if they in fact did receive the application. What the dealership ZAGG MOTORS is doing is fraudulent and they need to be put to a stopThe only way to come to an agreement is for them to take back the car and give me a full refund of the $3,down payment that I put down and a full refund of all the payments that have been made towards the car
Sincerely,
*** ***

Dear Ms***
We have received the letter in regards to Mr***’s complaint (***). ZAG Motors has reviewed the complaint and its own records relating to this matter. Please consider this letter ZAG Motors response
After reviewing our records and speaking with management ZAG Motors has determined that Mr*** came in on Saturday 4/07/to purchase a vehicle. The manager suggested a co-signer*** said his dad was willing to co- signWe included his dad on the sales documents per his request.
Later in the day on 4/07/*** told the sales representative that his dad did not want to sign the documentsOn Sunday 4/08/*** called and spoke with our Manager and said he wanted his money back in the next minutesHe was told that there was no staff available on Sunday to write the check as our office staff has weekends off. Management let him know at that time that we would refund the money when the appropriate person was here to process the request.
A check was written on 4/09/in the amount of $to *** ***. On Tuesday 4/10/the manager called Mr*** to let him know his check was in the store ready for pick up. Mr*** wanted to have someone come in and pick up the check for him and was told that it is our policy to release the check only to the person it is written to in order to protect our customers.
The check has been mailed to Mr*** today. This should serve as resolve in this matter

May 1, 2018 Revdex.com Complaint ID: [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted]   We have received the letter in regards to Mr. [redacted]’s complaint ([redacted]).  ZAG Motors has reviewed the complaint and its own records relating to this matter.  Please consider this letter ZAG Motors...

response. After reviewing our records and speaking with management, ZAG Motors has determined that Mr. [redacted] purchased the Tahoe on 10/26/17 As -is, with the only agreement being that we would provide the customer with Bumper Clips, which our Service Department installed.  At the time of purchase Mr. [redacted] was offered the opportunity to purchase a Service Contract Warranty for the vehicle at which time he declined purchasing. Our service records do not indicate that we did any repair work on the lifters or the oil pan gasket/valve in the oil pan. Please see the attached documentation in regards to this complaint. This should serve as resolve in this matter. If you have any further questions in regards to this matter please do not hesitate to contact me directly at: [redacted]@zagmotors.com   Regards,   Marcie M[redacted] Controller

Dear [redacted], Ms. [redacted] signed a contract that clearly stated the interest rate, the GAP insurance, and the ETCH product that she was purchasing. Ms. [redacted]' vehicle is financed through Reliable Credit Association. Reliable Credit conducts interviews with customers PRIOR to approving their loans (usually a day or two after the customer purchases the vehicle from the dealership.) One of the reasons for the interview is to confirm that the customer is well aware of the interest rate that she's receiving and any other products purchased with the vehicle. As far as the Wells Fargo part, it's common in the auto industry that the dealer tries to obtain financing for a customer through a lender but the lender denies due to credit history, employment history, or other reasons. In such cases, the dealer tries to obtain financing for the customer through another source (Reliable Credit in this case.) Our records indicate that Ms. [redacted] already cancelled the GAP and ETCH products that she had purchased at time of sale. The refund was applied to her loan balance with the lender.   Please let me know if you have any questions,Brittany L**
