repairs. We also gave Mr. [redacted] the option to trade-inthe vehicle for something he chooses and we will give him acompetitive trade-in value for his vehicle.I have personally been communicating with Mr. [redacted] and will continue to do sountil we’ve reached a resolution.

[redacted] I didn't ask for the deposit back in thirty minuts the manager was so upset that I had to com him down he said he wasn't giving back the deposit he has a sales man that had a hole day in to this deal any way if the check shows up to day then this mater will be over I  do beleave if I didn't start complaining rite a way they would have made this much harder credit acceptance  said they ordered the manager to return the money asap thank you for this response

I filed a complaint 4/8/2018 about the zag moters not wanting to refund my down payment of 500.00 on a car deal that didn't work out .on 4/9/2018 a manager called me at 7.47 pm told me my refund check was ready I asked if I could have some one pick it up they said no I asked if they could mail it...

they refused that request to .after reading complints on the Revdex.com public web site about zag motors and the same sales man I'm was working with that customers have been physically hit customers chest bumps calling them names and making it hard to pick up a refund .I feel this is a set up to get the same treatment I have my step dad he is 80 my mom she is 78 four kids under 13 yrs old I'm a single dad if they did sumthing to end up in jail wouldn't be good for me or the six people that rely on me every day .please just have them put my refund in the mail certified only then they can verify they sent the check thank you

We’d like to thank the customer for reaching out to us through you. It’s always a priority for us to look into customers’ concerns and to treat these concerns with a lot of seriousness.
Here are the facts that I gathered after reviewing this deal. 
Our listed price...

for the vehicle at time of purchase was $15,995
At time of purchase, the customer negotiated the price down to $15,441 (to match the Kelly Blue Book recommended retail price.)
As you can see, the customer was not misled through the process of the sale.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to scan and send you the contract from Wells Fargo due to Zag Motors informing me that they needed to relocate it. Even when I was still living out in Seattle, I went to Zag Motors multiple times asking them to give me a copy, but would always be given some sort of excuse of why they couldn't find it. Since moving to California, I've called Zag Motors several times asking them that I need a copy of the supposed cancelled/ denied contract from Wells Fargo and their response to me continues to be " okay, they have to look for it." It's been two months and I have not heard anything from them or received the documents regarding the copy of the cancelled contract from Wells Fargo that I asked for.

We are in receipt of your January 4th letter regarding the complaint Mr. [redacted] filed with your office. I am the controller for Zein Automobiles Inc. d/b/a Independence Auto Center/d/b/a Best Bet Auto. 
 
On 4/24/2016, Mr. [redacted] purchased the vehicle from Best Bet...

Auto, and the purchase included a 6-month extended service contract at no charge to Mr. [redacted]; the extended service contract is provided by a third party. During the sale transaction, Mr. [redacted] was offered the option to extend the term of the extended service contract to 12 months, 24 months, or 36 months at an extra cost; Mr. [redacted] declined the offer.
 
Our records show the Mr. [redacted] did benefit from the included extended service contract in early September of 2016 for repairs done on his vehicle. 
 
As a goodwill, we’re willing to offer Mr. [redacted] a discount on labor rate if he chooses to do the repairs at our shop. Mr. [redacted] can contact our shop at 425-903-4084 (Sam) if he would like to take advantage of our offer.

in receipt of the letter Ms. [redacted] filed with the Revdex.com on September 14, 2016.  Please consider this letter as Independence Auto Center’s response.
 
                Ms. [redacted] purchased her previously owned vehicle in December 2015.  At the time of the sale, Ms. [redacted] agreed to purchase the vehicle “As-Is” and without warranty of any kind.  Although our dealership offers extended service contracts to its customers, Ms. [redacted] elected to not purchase a service contract for her vehicle.  Although we did not have a legal obligation to do, Independence Auto Center previously offered to accept the vehicle in on trade in order to give Ms. [redacted] an opportunity to obtain a vehicle that is more suitable for her needs.  If Ms. [redacted] is interested in looking into options for a different vehicle, she should contact the dealership and ask to speak to me.  
 
                Thank you for giving us an opportunity to respond to this issue.  Please let me know if you need any additional information from Independence Auto Center.

At the time of the sale, Mr. Cruz was given an opportunity to purchase an extended vehicle service contract for the vehicle; he declined to purchase the extended service contract. Weeks after the purchase, Mr. Cruz complained of issues with the vehicle. As a goodwill, ZAG Motors agreed to repair the vehicle at no cost to Mr. Cruz. The vehicle was repaired at the time Mr. Cruz picked it up and Mr. Cruz was satisfied with the repairs. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.   Regards,   [redacted] Controller
