had not received them and clearly was frustrated. The delay was caused by a service failure by a freightWe offered him a $400.00 refund in an effort to resolve the matter. Per the agreement we had with him, any delays due to freight makes a customer eligible for a $150.00 refund. In his case we made an offer over and above what the contract calls for as a way to acknowledge that we appreciate his business and understand the frustration associated with his delay.I am happy to report that we have reached an agreement with him to resolve the matter.We trust that this response to his concern will be deemed adequate and fair.Sincerely,Rick D** S[redacted]President Zippy Shell incorporated

My wife ([redacted]) spoke to you this afternoon. The original quote was 3214.40We paid half 1607.20 on 12/29/2015Shell delivered on 12/30Currio busted on 12/30We were told that we needed a 2nd shell 12/30, although sales person stated (Rebecca W[redacted]) that the 15ft shell would suffice. We...

had no choice but to get another shell 800.00.BALANCE = 1607.20 and 800.00 - 2407.20 This is when my wife's  [redacted] was missing (during the 2nd day of moving)No one contacted us about the Currio Claim, in the mean time.Once we were in Arizona, I received an email  stating that our MERCHANDISE was in Phoenix. I'm not sure of the date.We questioned ALICEN (CUST SVC MGR) about the Currio and she offered us a credit of (-300.00).After the credit the balance was 2107.20It was suggested that we have the 10ft shell delivered first, to look for [redacted]. We agreed. Once the Shell was delivered no [redacted]We paid 800.00 on 1/22/2016Shell delivered on 1/25/2016.Our balance after that was 1307.20This time another (cust svc mgr ) Dalia  contacted us again with a credit of (-500.00). for the [redacted].We now have a balance of 807.00.We told Zippy Shell that we wanted the shell delivered first, so we could inspect the items before paying.They told us that the driver would not leave until we paid him, whatever that means.

I am rejecting this response because: The issue has not been resolved with Zippy Shell as they stated in their response. I was contacted by Zippy Shell employee [redacted] on August 1, 2017 indicating that he was following up on my delivery. He was not aware of the complaint that I had submitted to Zippy Shell, despite an email being sent and a voicemail being left for him regarding the same. He asked me to email the complaint to him with all damages included, which I did.  He responded and offered $300.00 for our damaged goods, which totaled $773.86. I responded and indicated that $300 was not agreeable and that I would accept $673.86. He responded and offered $400. I agreed to accept the $400 to settle our dispute over the damaged goods ONLY. I stated on several occasions that this was for the damaged goods only and completely separate from my request for a full refund due to the services not being completed as agreed upon. On August 2, 2017, [redacted] forwarded me an email with the Agreement regarding the damaged goods. However, the Agreement included statements indicating that I would not file any complaints against Zippy Shell, including with the Revdex.com; that I would not dispute the credit card charges with my credit card company; that I would not post any negative reviews about my experience with Zippy Shell to any websites and that I would agree to pay in full for their services. I responded to [redacted] and explained that I did not agree with any of those statements, as I had already filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, [redacted] and submitted a dispute to my credit card company. I also indicated that I have every intention of posting my negative review of Zippy Shell unless they will agree to refund my money and resolve this matter. I asked him to confirm whether or not they would refund my payment and to date, I have not heard back from anyone at Zippy Shell. I am in disbelief that they would say that this matter has been resolved. My family was put out of our home for ten days and forced to rack up unnecessary debt, due to Zippy Shell not completing their services as agreed upon. They were supposed to deliver our POD on July 8th and we did not receive the same until July 19th. They were unapologetic and have made little to no attempt to resolve this issue and now they are falsely claiming that it has been resolved. This further demonstrates their shady and unacceptable business policies. I would agree to resolve this dispute with Zippy Shell if they would agree to pay the $400 for our damaged goods, in addition to refunding $1,648.74, half of the total payment, for the extreme delay in delivery, extremely unprofessional customer service that I had to deal with, and the stress and suffering that our family endured during that time frame.

Westchester County NY.This is a very unfortunate situation to say the least and we expect a lot better service from our franchisees. In fact, we demand it. That said, each location is individually owned and operated and we have no direct control on a day-to-day basis over these independent but affiliated franchise owners.We have put our franchisee on notice that this is unacceptable and may in fact move forward with more drastic measures up to and including the termination of their franchise rights within the market.I do know that she did receive her goods as soon as we realized what was happening. I personally took a trip to NY to make sure that this was handled. I truly apologize for her inconvenience but We are somewhat limited in what we can do in these instances.
