Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I went to the establishment on Jan and the manager insisted that I take a shirt which was not anything remotely close to what I dropped off originallyShe then stated that I have zero basis to negotiate because ZIPS policy is only to refund the customer at most times the cost of the cleaning which would be about bucks even though the original cost of the shirt was $I asked to speak with Jason who walked right pass me and she said that he was unavailableThe shirt that ZIPS tried to give me was researched and currently costs bucksI left the establishment without resolution Regards, [redacted]

The store manager told me she was not going to make my beltHowever, I was contacted by the manager, Brian, and was asked to find the material to have a belt madeUnfortunately, I was not able to locate the material at the fabric shopI sent an email informing the manager and owner letting them no I reject the claim from Tina that she offered to make me a beltShe offered me $dollarsYes, I was upset, but in no way did she offer to replace the items the store is clearly responsible forWhen I picked up my coat, she wrote $dollars on the ticket

[redacted] brought a white dress into our location on April 12, 2016. She returned the same day, I told her that we damaged the color of her dress and that we would try to fix it, and that I needed several days. After several days she returned, and unfortunately I told her we needed more time... and to use much stronger chemicals to try to fix the color of her dress. From my perspective she has been positive and understanding during this process. She has not called us "every other day" and from my understanding she knows that if we fail to restore the dress to its original color, she will be compensated. We have completed all work on the dress and we have already notified [redacted] via phone message that its ready to be picked up. If she is not happy with it, she will be compensated as already discussed.Owner/OperatorJason S [redacted]

HelloIt seems to be that a piece garment became separated during the cleaning process They are usually held together by a small thread Because it's one tag per garment there is no way to know there was something missing out of her completed order We have searched for this slip but was unable to locate it There is a day waiting period to file a claim Since it has been that amount of time all she needs to do is stop at the store and fill out a claim form.Thank You Tina S [redacted] GMZIPS Dry Cleaners

Dear Representative Revdex.com;On 10/28/16, this customer came into my store and requested her jacket with fake fur trim on the hood to be cleanedHere at Zips we are very careful about how we clean certain items, especially with any type of fur trimThe care label clearly stated that the jacket could be dry cleaned, or machine washedIt also clearly stated that it can tumble dry in a drier, or be hung to dryThere is no way we could have gone wrong by cleaning and drying this jacketIt was machine washed, then tumble driedI was very apologetic to the customer, even thru her cursing, both in store and on the phoneI suggested she take it back to where she had purchased it because they manufacturer who put the care label on was responsibleA couple days later tried to reach out to her on the phone and after multiple attempts of apologizing and asking her to take it back to where she bought it, she hung up on me.Thank you,Michael K***Owner/OperatorZips Dry Cleaners - Germantown

I called corporate twice before any manager from the store contacted me, which was minutes after I spoke to Rebecca from corporateThey damaged my coat and refused to reimburse me along with insulting my intelligence and being very obnoxious and disrespectful in front of customers by telling me the Revdex.com would not help me in anyway and would side with themAt this point there is nothing more to discuss I'm no longer interested in reading the lies from the managementTheir business practices are unethical, and by reading the horrible reviews they have online I'm sure many customers would agree! I also spoke with empolyees from the Gaithersburg location which also stated Germantown store and management is horrible and they should contact their insurance company and pay for my coatAt this point I would like them to pay for the damaging my coat!! Hello We have verified this order did contain a belt which was missing at the time of pick up. Since ** *** was quite upset and continued to talk over me, I have to assume that she could not hear that I was refusing to pay another tailor to make a belt when we have tailors
on our staff that could make the belt for her. Our store manager has been in contact with her, We are now waiting for her to call us backThank You Tina S*** GM

HelloMs*** dropped off her garments, pieces on December 4th 2014. She picked those garments up on December 20,2014. She did not return to this location until 2/13/and state that there was a problem. We have tried to explain to her that the problem with her
garment is not from cleaning. There are several areas all over the shirt that can be seen when shirt is held up to the lightthese areas are weak and could not withstand the cleaning procedures, and there for broke open. This problem has become more apparent after cleaning but was not caused by the process of dry cleaning or steaming and therefore we will not be paying Ms*** for this garment. I went to this particular location being that it is close to my house When picking up my clothes Vilma the cashier was very short with me I was suppose to be picking up pieces, Vilma came back with two then started to walk around the store but avoiding eye contact and kept distance from me I had to get one of her co-workers attention and inquire what was going on, so they LOST my work shirt and the other pieces that I came to pick up my white button up and two HUGE stains Vilma was non apologetic and could have cared less, I spoke to the store manager on duty Her name is Laurie and she was semi yelling and was not really educated on how to help the situation Then I tried to get compensated for my LOST work shirt and my stained shirt ZIPS DRY CLEANING messed up, so I called the general manager for the location Jaici She had a Sarcastic apology and said Shbasically had to wait till she figured it out Take a look at the other reviews for this location DON’T GO !! On Wednesday February 28, I delivered my clothes to Zips Dry Cleaning located in the Laurel Maryland area to be cleanedAfter dropping the clothes off in the AM I returned in the evening to pick up my clothesOne item of the cleaned clothes was a black zippered hooded sweaterOn March 7, when I decided to wear my hooded sweater I discovered my sweater had been steamed causing the white fabric of the thermal to show along the seams of the arms, pockets, under the armpits, body of the jacket and hoodI returned the sweater back to Zip's and showed the sweater to the managerThe manager stated that she would investigate the matter and contact me laterThe manager called me back and stated that they had nothing to do with ruining my sweaterI returned to pick up my sweater and took pictures of the damage Zip created

I have been a regular customer of Zips Dry Cleaners at Germantown, MDHowever, recently when I turned in my silk dress for dry cleaning, I got it back all ruinedThe color came off from some parts if the dressIt bleededThe whole fabric is ruined, it is not silk anymoreIt is in a terrible shape that original fabric can not be seen anymoreZips website says that if there are chances of garment to get damaged then they will not accept the garment for dry cleaningHowever, they accepted my garment even after I insisted that the fabric of the garment is silk and they have to handle with careI am certain that they accepted it just to make money as they didn't even refund it after they damaged and gave my garment backNow, I would like to claim for my lossAnd, the manager of Zips didn't want to give me the claim form for the damage that was done by ZipsThey sent damaged dress to the lab to see why there was a color lossAnd it came back it could be something by customer that they might have perfume on that is why, when I didn't have any prefund on

I am rejecting this response because: I went to the establishment on 23 Jan and the manager insisted that I take a shirt which was not anything remotely close to what I dropped off originally. She then stated that I have zero basis to negotiate because ZIPS policy is only to refund the customer at most 20 times the cost of the cleaning which would be about 30 bucks even though the original cost of the shirt was $90. I asked to speak with Jason who walked right pass me and she said that he was unavailable. The shirt that ZIPS tried to give me was researched and currently costs 22 bucks. I left the establishment without resolution.
