On time and friendly... Explained everything about our door.

We called Affordable Garage Door for help with a balky garage door. The service tech Tim arrived within an hour and made some adjustments, which took care of the problem. We were able to keep our afternoon appointments, and appreciated the prompt attention and the professional manner that Tim displayed. We will certainly call them again.

Had them come by my house yesterday to replace my keypad and needed a new remote. Guy was early on time schedule, did the installation, checked all moving parts and left. Good courteous man and reasonable price. I recommend them and will use again if necessary.

Customer service over the phone was great, Service in the field was outstanding. Colton was fast and efficiant.

Had a garage door spring break. Called Affordable Garage Door. They were able to come the same day. Rick arrived and finished (including some extra work we had done) when he said he would. Very professional and a good price. Would recommend him to friends and neighbors.

For months of my garage making weird noises it finally stopped working. After looking on yelp for a good repair man and nobody answering I called this company. The owner Rick was able to pin point the problem over the phone and give me a cost. His cost was very reasonable and he fix my garage with no hassle. I was very pleased with his work and his customer service. I will be using him again!

I love this company! On time, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I called today and boom, they were here as quickly as possible. Marcus was the best - knowledgeable and excellent skills plus a nice bit of humor and a great personality to boot. What could be better? I highly recommend this company!

I read others reviews and decided to call. I'm glad I did Marcus came out and was very friendly and by the end of the repair I didn't feel as if had been ripped off. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Amazing service! Replaced our broken springs and rollers. Tightened our chain. Even put in a keypad for us (by our request). All for MUCH less than we would have paid for just springs elsewhere. Marcos was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and HONEST. I wouldn't hesitate to send all of my friends and family their way. In fact, I would recommend they do so if repairs are needed. This is the ONLY place we will ever call for our garage doors. Thank you!!

I strongly recommend the Affordable Garage Door. I usually do not write reviews but I feel obligated. He came on time, gave me a free estimate. He was the lowest price installing the exact same LifeMaster for half the price!! He worked for 3 hours and my garage door is all fixed. I am very happy with the work and how much I paid.

Earlier today my garage spring broke and snapped a support cable in the process. called up these guys and Rick sent over Colton to fix it the same afternoon! Will definitely recommend, thanks guys !

Marcos the guy! I had received 3 or 4 quotes and everyone said the door had to be replaced since the parts for Amarr Stratford 1000 are not being manufactured anymore. The lowest quote was for $660 to replace 4 panels. Marcos straightened the damaged lower panel and installed a strengthening strut all in 90 minutes and for less than $300. Works fine and we're relieved and happy and satisfied!

Had to post an update. We had an another problem with our garage door. (It was something we were told about on his last visit but we elected to not have fixed). Rick came over a as soon as he could and fixed the problem.

I'm writing this review to make sure that people call around before accepting any quotes that this company provides. On the day of our move out of a rental home the movers left some shelving in the way of the garage door track. Unfortunately we didn't notice that and tried to close the door. Because the motor was so old it was not equipped with the emergency reverse so it just kept trying to go down and eventually forced itself off the track and torqued itself enough that one of the panes of glass shattered. Needless to say this was super stressful and knowing we had to get it fixed ASAP I called this company. They had been out once before when we had some problems with the spring and they seemed competent enough. Well Rick came out to do an estimate on the repair and after looking at it told us it would be approximately $1,200 since the door wasn't able to be fixed. It needed new everything he said. Tracks, a whole door, new glass etc. Given that estimate I told him I needed to discuss it with the moving company to try and get them to assume at least 50% responsibility and hopefully 50% of that cost. We were able to get it back on the track before Rick arrived with lots of hammering but it was still open and I was concerned about it slamming shut and shattering more glass so I asked him to help us get it down. He said he would only help if we paid him $100 to do it. Because we needed to be able to secure the house we agreed to pay it (bad decision in hindsight) so after the door was down he asked us to sign an invoice that stated 'Ignoring common sense and the recommendation of a licensed profession we are choosing to not fix the door' or something to that affect. He told me I had to initial it. So I did in order to finish up our move and get on with the repair. I contacted the property management company for the rental house and explained what happened. They put me in contact with another company (Wild West Door) who came out and told me the door was entirely salvageable and ended up being able to fix it for just over $80. If there wouldn't have been such an enormous difference in the cost between these two companies and the offensive wording on their invoice I don't think I would have cared to do this, but those things combined along with him charging us $100 when he could have just told us it was safe to put it down ourselves made me upset. He knew we were in a bad spot and was clearly taking advantage of us. We were under the gun and needed help and he was happy to gauge us for it. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.
