Review: Contracted in Dec.2013 a 5year vehicle warranty with a large deposit and 6 payments of $305.00 monthly..the payments were electronic transfered except for the last payment..since I changed banks I elected to mail my payment in..unbeknownst to me they claimed they never rec'd it and in August 2014 the company canceled my warranty with NO NOTICE to me. I didnt know this info until I called on Tuesday 7/14 2015 as I didnt need any service until then..thats when I was told my policy was cancelled due to non payment and why did I wait so long to call them..Spoke to a nice person who said a supervisor would call me in 2 days...well NO ONE called me..I called them Friday afternoon and was treated rudely by Chad K[redacted] and another associate via phone..I am a senior citizen and feel like I have been taken advantage of and my money is gone..I explained to them that I assumed they got my last payment and with no letter stating I was cancelled I had no idea..I asked for a refund or reinstatement..they have given me the run a round and have been spoken to rudely...not sure if my age or what..I am out $305. x5 and an initial deposit of $1200..I only had the policy 7 months for all this money to them and no consideration. please help me as I'm on limited income.Desired Settlement: I now just want my refund.I have been nice and was willing to settle but after being talked rudely by most of the associates.

Review: My husband purchased an extended warranty for our car and was told that all parts of the engine were covered. That we had nothing to worry about. The very first time I filed a claim they referred to a booklet that had been sent with our contract number and sai they only "lubricated"parts of the motor were covered. The book stated that the crank shaft was covered. However the sensors (which had gone bad) were not covered because they weren't lubricated although they were "crank shaft sensors". They promised what they were unwilling to fulfill. If the crank shaft and its parts are covered they are covered. Whether or not they have grease on them. I had not only paid them on time but had paid them a month in advance. They are running a bait and switch. Their sales people are telling folks that things are covered that are not.Desired Settlement: I want my car repaired and I want my extra month's payment returned.

Hello,Attached is our response for the above stated complaint.Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I bought an extended warranty for my 2007 [redacted]in April 2014 and put my first claim this month. My mechanic had the vehicle and called Palmer and they sent an appraiser to check the vehicle and he said yes and called [redacted] and found out the price on the part and said it should be approved. Now Palmer is saying the part is too expensive and want to send a part but my mechanic can't find out if it is a new or used part. The truck has been out of service for a week now with no end in site.Desired Settlement: Would like to have a full refund or vehicle fixed. This plan is a RPP Classis Powertrain Enhanced plan which cost $2956.00

I am rejecting this response because:

This complaint has been satisfied. It took almost 2 weeks to get the job done and would not recommend this company to anyone. I'm lucky I have 2 cars and could deal with the situation. Thanks for your help. [redacted]

Review: I canceled a Warranty Agreement from US Dealer Services, administered by [redacted], on October 16, 2015, requesting a refund of my $298.00 deposit. The telephone number [redacted] connects to Customer Service that acknowledges receipt of cancellation and advises that the refund will be a check and could take up to six weeks. I paid with a [redacted] and requested a credit back to my Card, but Customer Service insists it will be a check. When I asked for direct contact information for the Administrator, [redacted], I was advised there was not a phone number available and Customer Service's only contact was by email. When I was offered the Warranty, the agreement was a thirty day review with the option to cancel and obtain a refund with no hassle. After checking out the Warranty Company on line I decided against doing business with them, and if trying to get a refund back to my credit card is an indication of their business practices, I am glad I did not follow through with a warranty from this company.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund to my [redacted] in seven business days following acknowledgement of Warranty cancellation.

As [redacted] states he purchased his service agreement from US Dealer Services of [redacted] not us. [redacted] as the Administrator of [redacted]'s service agreement was successful in obtaining a full refund for [redacted] via his credit card [redacted] on November 9th in the amount of $298.00.Sincerely,Michael B. I have purchased a warranties with this company. I have for the first time had to put in for a claim. This is worst service I have ever received from any company. I have contacted them every step of the way to make sure I was following all the rules. I now am being told I that no one from this company has contacted the dealer as of yet to review what has to be taken care of for the approval of the repair, plus I now have to pay for a rental even though they told me I would be covered. It has been 4 days since I first contacted them. When I called today, to try and get some answers as to when I can get my car taken care of, I got hung up on by your manager on duty. What kind of service is this? no one at Palmer seems to care because I paid-in-full up front for the warranty. This company is a "TOTAL RIPOFF SCAM COMPANY" !!

Will not back what they sell and are the rudest claims dept...... never will deal with them and advise friends and family against it

Review: I was sold an extended warranty on my 2008 [redacted] in January or February of this year. I paid the upfront fee of 400 along with 179 a month every month on time, not that it matters they take it directly out of my account no and ifs or buts about it. My car started to stall and over rev so I told my supposed extended warranty people who told me to take it into a shop and they would handle the claim. I took it to [redacted] in [redacted] and got the [redacted] and the extended warranty people in contact and was told that was all I had to do, [redacted] would handle it from there. My car sat on the lot for a week before they even came out to look at it to give it the ok to start being worked on. After they came out to look at it they told [redacted] that I would have to pay the cost up front and they would reimbursed me and they would only pay 1795. I was told at the time I was sold the warranty it would be no out of pocket cost to me except for a 100dollar deductable. [redacted] called me and informed me of the situation. [redacted]'s fee was 2199 or close to it. If I had the 2200 I would not need an extended warranty auto pretection. I just want them to pay what they said they would pay directly to the dealership and I will take care of the remaining balance or give me my money back.Desired Settlement: Pay the dealership what you said you would pay and leave me the remaining balance or give me a full refund because you are providing the services sold.

Review: I bought a 2005 escalade in May 2015. I was approached by Warranty company to insure the truck and was emailed the policy after $125 down pmt and $99/mo. I was assured when my truck started went out that it was covered and I would just have to pay my $100 dedct. I called on Monday 1/4/16 to let them know about the repairs and faxed over the invoice. I was told it was a coverable part and expense. After speaking to the Claims Supervisor Anthony, he said I would be mailed back $34.?? for a invoice of $502.94. After going back and forth with Anthony, he was very condescending and arrogant towards me. He said that he would not do anymore than what he said (send me the $34.??. I told him I would contact the NJ State Atty Gen and the Revdex.com and he said he would deal with the accordingly when they called. I called today (1/6/16) and requested with Vincent (cust care rep) and he assured me that he would start the cancellation of my service and have a Cust Care Sup call me to ensure cancellation was complete.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that this company will give me a complete refund of my policy premiums, keep their $34.?? reimbursement.

Response:

I have had my $4,600 warranty in place for 18 months on my Mercedes vehicle (Select Plan) and they have approved NOTHING and I have paid thousands in repairs. To be fair all the issues with my car though it falls into the Drive Axles, Steering, Seals/Gaskets, Front & Rear Suspension, the parts that I have needed were not specifically listed. So not covered.

So not being a mechanic and knowing what the difference is between a stabilizer shaft bushing and the sway bar bushing I am screwed. They only cover, period, the parts listed no matter how it relates to the failure. Even the dealership said it was a awful warranty. I just never had the magical parts. Seems like they are professional in the customer service department and working on a prorated refund but I have still wasted $2500.
