We have reviewed the phone call between *** *** and our client service representative that took place on 11/30/*** *** was made fully aware as to how each of his loans workThe representative informed *** ***, “Each loan carries a 30% finance fee per due date which does not apply towards the principal balance, and in order to schedule to pay down or pay off your principal balance you must contact customer service no less than three business days prior to your due dates.“ *** *** was read the terms and conditions for each loan separately and was asked if he had any questions afterwardsThe representative informed *** *** that he can pay off this loan whenever he decides, however the loan will automatically begin to pay itself down by 5% of the original principal balance beginning on the fifth due date in addition to his regularly scheduled finance fee until the principal balance is paid in fullThe representative confirmed for a third time that *** *** had a clear understanding on how his loans work before finalizing his loan agreementsLastly, *** *** agreed to the terms of his loans when he signed his loan documents

Hello thank you for your assistanceI wanted to update this complaint as Sierra lending did respond to my Revocation of authorization to debit my account email, which they honored noting I still owe a balance of over $Their email stated they will not withdraw from my bank account. I have

Financial all at once, which includes DBA’s: Iggy Loans, My Quick Funds,
Lend Me Now, and Sierra Lending. There is no way for us to delineate the
description of the transactions beyond one company and the decision was made to
use IggyThis has since been changed to read Sierra, the name for this entire
portfolio of companiesThe $debit you are referring to was applied towards
your loan with Sierra Lending in accordance with your contractIn an effort to
resolve the situation, and as a gesture of goodwill, Sierra Lending has waived
your remaining $balance and marked your account as Paid in Full

On November 18, 2018, I logged into my checking account to pay bills. I noticed a debit in the amount of $165 from Sierra Lending. I wasn't sure why I was debited that amount, so I backtracked and observed that Sierra Lending placed $500 into my account.

I never authorized them to put money into my account. I went and checked old emails, and saw that on 11/06/2018, they sent one stating that my application was received, and that they must speak with me before any funds are deposited. I never spoke with anyone from Sierra Lending, much less authorized them to deposit money.

I filled out an application to see what the rates would be, and once I saw how expensive they would be, closed out the window. I never accepted the loan, signed for a loan, nor gave permission for any loan.

I called the company and supposedly spoke with a manager. I advised him that I would pay back the $500 since it wasn't mine. I advised him that since $165 was already taken out, I would immediately pay the remaining $335. He advised me that I would have to pay the entire $500 back, and they would keep the $165.

I explained to him that was unacceptable, that the money was never authorized to be deposited into my account. I went to my Credit Union and they advised they would send back the $500 to Sierra Lending, and would credit me back the $165 that was taken.

This company fraudulently placed money into my account without my permission. I never once spoke with anybody from Sierra lending and agreed to the loan.

I will pay back the $500, but I will not pay a penny more.

Took out alone 4 weeks ago for $600.00 with a reduced finance fee special im 1st scheduled payment I made was half the loan amount $317.50 which I was told was half of my loan payed off...I then paid finance charge of $125.50 the following pay period. I called today and was told to pay off $523.. ? I was told both payments I made were finance fees only That makes no sense im complaining to BBB on this matter if its not properly resolved right away. .I was told the 1st 4 payments no matter the amount is finance charges only so..in other words one of payment could have been for $559.00 during this 4 payment rule and I will still owe $600 something is terrible wrong and down right criminal

I took out a payday loan with this company and somewhere along the line I got behind on my payments. In order for them to stop automatically deducting money from my account I had to close it. I then contacted a debt management company who made payment arrangements with Sierra Lending. I had the entire debt almost paid off and missed one payment. They sent it immediately to a 3rd party collection service who now says I owe $3000. They call my relatives and my place of employment and threaten me. They will not mail me anything detailed in writing about this debt and how to settle it for what I actually owe, which is no more than a few hundred dollars at the most.

I am very upset emotionally and in financial hardship due to my loan with Sierra Lending. I borrowed $700 and have already paid them over $2000. I lost my job and couldn't make my payments, they couldn't work with me on losing my payments. Then they withdrew an insane amount of $680 that I did not authorize. When I called them back to try to get it back or make sure that my account is paid off they told me I still owed $780. Everytime I called I got the same agents that were very rude and condascending, they called me debtor and stated they would never be in my position because they would never borrow more than they could pay back. I was brought to tears. They would not transfer me to a manager and they made notes on my account stating that I was very rude and cussed, I dropped the f word one time mid sentence then got hung up on. I had to call from a different number because I couldnt get through on my phone which was very suspicious. They state they can't access my information because a 3rd party agency has my account but then the absent was able to access the collection agency's comments about me being rude and cussing and the $700 and $560 withdrawal say Sierra Lending on my bank statement. I will not accept the response that my complaint is with the 3rd party agency and not Sierra Lending. I want my last payment of $560 returned that was withdrawn on 6/23/18 and my account closed, paid in full. You already have over $1000 in interest. I would select no stars if I could.

I agree. This company is a complete ripoff. They pull your money every pay period to only add to your payoff amount. I called to see what my payoff amount was today. I was told its was $665. I only borrowed $500...but ive6 made 3 payments of 169 already. Those payments did not go towards the loan. Be advised...DO NOT BORROW FROM THEM! They will leave you in a worst situation then you started before borrowing from them.

I emailed them as well, pleading with them to close my account and they never replied. They still took an additional $560. They don't value they're customers, they should be closed down.

They also stated they were able to withdraw a " magic pull" which is the principal balance if I default on my loan. That was how they justified pulling out more than the amount I agreed to when got the loan. So then I stated I should be paid off then and that's when they said they could still do a magic pull because they could make a new principal balance and they would send me a copy of my contract which they never did. I would have never agreed to the loan if I was properly informed of the contract. This has to be illegal. I was in a tough spot when I took out the loan but even worse now because of Sierra Lending. They do take advantage of people, and count on them not being to pay off the loan. What am I supposed to do about food and utilities after they withdrew $560, I have 4 children.
