The claim is in process and the customer will be updated when it is resolved. He recently provided information which was requested by the insurance company. Making Revdex.com complaints will neither speed up or slow down the process.

We offer a one year warranty with our work which we stand by, he can send it back for free warranty service.

The use of the word crystal in quotes to make it seem that it was not an actual crystal. A crystal is defined as the clear covering on a watch face. It can be made of plastic mineral (glass) or sapphire. The only crystal that is available to us is a plastic one, and we used that. We did not specify in the estimate what would be used, and the denotation that it would be "custom cut" would be more than enough indication for someone with a small amount of perceptiveness to understand that this is not the original part. We do use original parts when available, but since this was an 80 year old watch it is not available. 
 
Please have a Revdex.com representative personally review this so it does not continue to go back and forth, which I suspect will continue to happen.

For a mere $93, (shipping included), I was able to have my favorite watch that I have ever owned repaired and back on my arm. I had to have a new crystal and new gaskets. My watch is a LaSalle, which is probably the slimmest ladies watch ever made. It is unique and no longer made--therefore, I was afraid that I would not be able to have it repaired. I received the BEST service you could EVER ask for. I received the watch back in less than six weeks-and the watch looked brand new. They threw in a deep cleaning. I am this company's BIGGEST fan, and will definitely be a repeat customer if I should need another watch repair.

Yes the watch had some worn areas but not the scratch/gauge in the rear plate as mentioned in my complaint. The picture taken by the company when they received the watch is a frontal view not rear. Scratch is in the rear. The poor quality of the picture show blue tarnish on the watch and there is NONE. The picture documents that the crown was in the closed screw down position when received by the business. When returned to me it protruded from the watch and could not be screwed down in the correct position. The picture supports my allegation.
The business states they did not touch the watch during their evaluation. During a 6/*/2015 at 3:51 PM telephone conversation between my self and business manager [redacted], [redacted] stated they during their evaluation they remove the back plate but do not touch the movement. He offered that if I sent the watch back to the company they would fix the stem. Having no confidence in the business's workmanship I declined and instead brought to a certified [redacted] Boutique as stated in my complaint. 
Also if the business claims they didn't touch the watch during their evaluation process how did they arrive at an approx $1,800 repair estimate?
I will be satisfied if the shipping and handling price $68 is refunded to me and I have no further dealings with the business.

The customer can send the watch back for warranty repair. We stand behind our work with a one year warranty.

Once again, the representative for the company, Adam, seems to only be able to address one issue at a time.  My complaint addressed multiple issues:  the deceitful practice of baiting customers by offering "free" estimates for repair that are not truly free estimates ($14.95 for return shipping REQUIRED), the cheap quality of the bracelet they sold me, and the poor customer service offered by Adam after I complained and requested a refund, which was not granted to me.  Adam only addressed the "free" estimate complaint I had.  In his response to my complaint throught the Revdex.com, Adam says that they would be 'happy' to use another shipping method (of my choice) to save me money.  Well, Adam never offered this to me, so how was I supposed to know?  Once again, poor customer service and communication.  In his response, Adam failed to respond to my complaints of cheap quality and workmanship, and rejecting my request for a refund.  I consider this complaint to be UNRESOLVED until he does 2 things:  address these other 2 issues in my complaint, and give me a full refund, including shipping.  If he does those 2 things, I will consider this complaint closed and I will also send them back their cheap bracelet they sold me.  I'll even pay for my own shipping.

According to our terms and conditions at [redacted] you are not entitled to any compensation for delays which are out of our control. However, I can offer to refund the return shipping charge as a courtesy. I would greatly appreciate it if you could retain a calm and respectful demeanor.

Repair turnaround time was 10 days. Shipped - UPS tracking number [redacted]. Nothing left to say.

I've sent a new estimate with [redacted] rates to PR and eliminated the cost of the manual search and print to free. Thanks for everything.

We have been in touch with the customer as well as the [redacted] factory with this situation. We have consistently explained to the customer that it will be back in our possession next week. Complaints and aggressive measures will not hasten the delivery of his watch which was sent overseas.
