I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I wrote in Italian to the person who he said he ordered the crystal from and the reply was "the crystal in NO LONGER AVAILABLE". When this was communicated to US Watch repairs, the reply was "we are having it custom made. I requested the name of the company that is making this crystal and a copy of the purchase order, I received no response. I requested over and over again (see attached file) NOT to perform any repairs until you have the crystal, this was disregarded and they claim to have already performed the repairs and expect me to pay for them.The watch is worthless to me without a new crystal. I do not believe they will get the crystal and then expect me to pay for the unauthorized repairs. This behavior is the same as the numerous complaints regarding them. I wish my money (minus any reasonable shipping charge) and watch returned to me.If they really are having the crystal made, why won't they provide me with the name of the crystal maker and a copy of the purchase order?

Rather than provide the refund for the misleading/fraudulent service, the company misstates the facts and disparages me. At no point did I threaten them with "hassle" if they did not refund. This company advertises on its website, and on its written estimate to customers, that it repairs vintage watches using "genuine parts", presumably obtaining those parts from non-functional vintage watches, which are readily available on *** and through other sources. Instead, the company used a cheap $piece of plastic for the "crystal" and claims it just forgot to tell me it was going to do that. When I contacted them regarding this, the company refused, and continues to refuse, to refund

As to the length of time of the repair - we had advised the customer at the time of estimate that Invicta was slow to provide us parts, that it could be as much as monthsThe warranty repair should not be anywhere near as long since no additional parts from the factory will be required

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because, For one *** by his owe word Puts my pocket watch at years old, and like I said they told me that my watch was from the 1910's The number inside the watch is *** when I looked that up it is a watch from He did not make mention of the fact that I asked for my parts back from the day I gave the ok I also asked about the watch having Gold Full on the back and was told that it was some kind of plate When I got my watch back I pulled the back cover off and seen Gold Filled, that is a plate, yes a heavy plate but not soild like I sent in They had my watch since Novtill July 1914, now that is a long time for someone that works on those types of pocket watch and when I looked at the reviews that were on there web page everone had newer watch's
I am asking that if they do not do right by me then the business should have the Revdex.com sign removed and a sign put that they are not in good standing with the Revdex.com

I would like to take the watch to a reputable jeweler or watchmaker to look at the watch to verify damage to the watch a get a estimate for repair to the scratches on the bezel of the watch send the company that scratched the watch an estamate for repair for refund just for damage done by them on the watch after reading *** web site and online complaint web sites on this company I don't feel comfortable to send my watch back to them for repair fearing additional damage to my watch

This business is actually a pretty good scamThey say they specialize in your watch and brand so I send it in and I pay to sent it in because I could be ever get the pre-paid shipping to showI send it in to have a simple part repairs and to be buffed and polished as it was one of their choices of servicesWell they then come back to me a few days after they receive it and say the part I need has been discontinued but now I have to pay triple of what I paid to ship it to them, to get my watch back! It's kind of brilliant of a scamYou have people send in their watches, say you can't fix them and charge an outrage shipping charge to get it backIt's a $watch so of course I'm going to pay $to ship it backAnd the service that I wanted to begin with, which was a polish and a buff, they did not do!! Why? Is that machine discontinued as well?? What I find upsetting is that I can buy this watch on *** and even *** (which I'm not happy about by the way) and yet they say the part is discontinued??? But they are still making the watchanyway I would suggest staying away

His response was to put me off further regarding the status of an estimate I wrote to him again on 12/**/requesting the return of my grandfather's pocket watch (my watch)His response was to inquire if I was sure I wanted my watch returned I responded within five minutes informing *** *** that I was positive and I desired my watch be returned as soon as possible His next response agreed to return my watch and promised to send me a bill of shipping within the next few days I have never received such a bill or shipping statement When an estimate finally arrived, I regarded it as irrelevant since I was now positive I wanted the watch returned to me I have lost all trust in this company The watch may be of significant value because of its age and the company which made itThank you for your attention to this matter

This frivolous complaint has been ruled in our favor by the merchant which is American ExpressFive separate times this customer has wasted our time fighting a frivolous claimHe cancelled the order many days after the band was ordered by us from overseasThis order involved us wiring non
