Do not use this company even if you are desperate. My move became a nightmare the day they moved my stuff out of my apartment. The sales lady, Michelle, was very persistent in pursuing my business and said it wasn't a problem and that they can work around some uncertainty around my final move out date (leaving NYC for Chicago - a big move). Up until the day of the move, the process was smooth and I got emailed by someone in Operations to provide the COI.

I had very specific delivery windows because I needed stuff for an upcoming vacation during the Christmas break. Operations assured me that they were going to make the delivery window. However, during the waiting period, it was radio silence with zero update on the status of my shipment, whether the driver had headed onto the road. There was zero communication in general to inform me of their process and logistics. I was left wondering until the last minute before leaving for vacation to find out my shipment wasn't going to arrive in time. After multiple phone calls back and forth, causing me stress right before leaving for vacation (and not being able to pack properly), they finally agreed to provide a $500 credit for their inability to deliver and the hotel charges that I would be incurring as a result of not being able to move into an empty apartment. While this was a good gesture extended by them only after I became really upset, I would have much preferred that they delivered on time. They then assured me that by the time I return from vacation (a 3-week period in which they had plenty of time to schedule my shipment even factoring holiday period), I will be updated on the status of my shipment and it will arrive within the first three days that I return from vacation.

Again there was radio silence and I never received any status update on my shipment during those three weeks. So that when I returned from vacation, I had to check myself into a hotel on a rolling daily basis because I had no clue where my shipment was. Again I had to call them myself every morning - it was like pulling teeth. However, this time around, I couldn't even reach anyone that I had originally talked to from sales and operations. IT felt like they were avoiding me. All I was told is that it is on its way, without any further details or consideration for my predicament. IT was clear they didn't have control, didn't prioritize my delivery nor cared about me as a customer. Ultimately I had to call the truck driver (who is a third party they have zero control over) myself to get daily route update.

My shipment finally arrived a week after I returned from vacation. I noticed right away that not only was my king mattress contorted because they had rolled it up, there was a big tear on one side. The mattress also had several clear footprints on it as if somebody stepped on it or walked over it. Also my black bookcase had long scratches on it. I took photos of the damages and immediately sent them to company operations. I have heard no response back in the three weeks that I sent the email. I don't expect them to respond because it seems like that's their m.o. - with no intention to reimburse me for all the troubles and the damage they've caused.

I don't know what they really do from this experience and wonder if they really are a family business. Either way, their internal operations seem like a mess with no regard for servicing or customer satisfaction.

I have moved many times in the city. Definitely one of the best experiences with a moving company. From the very beginning, they always responded promptly and were so professional. They were on time and the crew was courteous and worked quickly. Not a scratch on anything. Highly recommend them.

I had these guys move a large piece of furniture from the store to our apartment and they were awesome. I called Sunday around 11 and they had the delivery done by the afternoon for a totally reasonable rate. Everyone should use these guys.

Had a great experience with a team from We-MoveU Saturday. Professional & competent moving several pieces of furniture from LI to NY. The back office communicated terms, times and changes efficiently via e mail & cell. The team leader even went as so far to route his trip to save me a toll. I would recommend this company as they were to me !

My move could not have been smoother, more pleasant, or faster! Their van was there right on time and they moved my stuff in and out in a snap! I was more than happy to be paying their (very reasonable) fee.

We-MoveU! They are great. Very good service. The price was very nice too, Cheaper then competitors. Used them months ago. The whole process was very quick and easy. They were very helpful. I hope that I will not be moving anytime soon, but when I will I will give them a call again. Thanks guys.

I used We-MoveU about a month ago to go from ** to [redacted] and found them to be great. Very timely, courteous and professional. Plus they offered a great rate. I'd definitely recommend them and would put a special word in for [redacted] & [redacted].

Review: we move u moving company broke and scratched half our belonging in the move and over charged us on the price they quoted in the beginning. we are still missing thing from our move, my kids cant sit in the living room because the stole our cushion to the couch and love seat. All our electronics are missing minus our tvs I guess they were to big to steal. I really want this company shut down they are liers and thieves.Desired Settlement: I want half our money back for braking and damaging half our household and making my kids cry. And most of all I want this fraudulent company shut down and monitored so they cant open under a new name 2 weeks later. They are moving [redacted] for [redacted] my kids belongings and making them have to sit on the living room floor to watch tv in there own home.

We have informed [redacted] that the driver had the remainder of her belongings on the truck and that there was a human error where they were over-looked. The driver is delivering them to her on the way back up to our warehouse. We have never been nothing but open and honest with this shipper and has kept the lines of communication open as far as their shipment. They have been very unpleasant and belligerent, yelling screaming and cursing at our dispatch and customer service reps. We have and continue to do everything we can to appease the customer. We are having her missing belongings delivered as soon as possible.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

We contacted the moving company yesterday to ask where is the rest of our household goods and various items. The guy that answer the phone said his name was Lee, and the only answer he could provide for us was he didn't know where the rest of our household goods were or when we would be able to receive them. He said he is unable to reach the truck driver and left it at that stating there is no more info he can give us at this time. No compensation was offered in the meantime or nothing. No idea from this company as to where our belongings are and from the tone in their voice they don't really care because they have already been paid.

These guys are the best. Don't waste your time with other movers. From the accurate quote, to the care the movers took with our items, I highly recommend this company and the team. In a city full of choices and not-so-honest movers, you can trust this crew. Also use BoxUp rather than spending a ton of $$ on cardboard boxes. If using We-MoveU.

The estimate was quite reasonable and below other quotes I had received. They showed up on time and moved me very quickly, a full hour under the estimate, even with some issues with parking at my destination. Starting in the morning and throughout the day the dispatcher kept checking in via text. Everyone was friendly and pleasant, and seemed to really enjoy their hard work.

We did our move from [redacted] to [redacted] with We-MoveU and they were great, really caring about the furniture, really fast, it was a very easy process, and they were very punctual. Also, the price was a lot better than most of the other companies I quoted. Would definitely recommend.
