I had a service call for my boiler. Matt19T did a great job getting it up and running. Eric 26P also assisted. I would have these two guys work on my heat anytime. Thanks

I needed some work done on my furnace, I needed a condensation pump. Robert came out and was very professional and friendly . The work area was very cramped and there was no real spot for the condensation pump to go. Robert went the extra mile to make sure that the condensation pump was in a good spot and not in the way of my furnace or water heater.

Patrick M[redacted] called ahead to provide arrival time which was extremely helpful. He patiently explained what he was going to do and answered all my questions! The job was completed quickly.

William was professional and extremely helpful. He explained in detail everything that he suggested we do to improve the electrical system and safety of our home - and he never pressured us to make any of the repairs.

I had terrific service from James W[redacted], Jesse H[redacted], and Steve C[redacted] over the last few weeks! Always capable, considerate, & helpful assistance from Woodfin!

Yesterday 1/4/16 was the coldest day thus far this heating season. When I woke up it was cold in the house so I called Woodfin, my fuel oil provider. The lady that answered the phone was very polite, explained that she could not give me an exact time but that a tech would be out today. Mike the service called me a bit later and said that he would be there in about 10 minutes...and he was. He came in, introduced himself and began to check out the boiler. He went about his work quickly but took the time to make sure that he had found the problem. He cleaned up after himself, thanked me for choosing Woodfin and thanked me for my business. Yes, Woodfin did filled the system with refrigerant so I can have AC temporarily at no cost.  For that, I am grateful.
The new grills are fine after I had corrected the installers and called the salesman on spot.  It was just one of many blunders of that day.  To be clear, I am satisfied with the new grills as they are now.
During our discussion prior to the installation, there was no mention that the air cleaner was part of a promotion and free.  It was not until after I found out that they didn't install it, it became free and cost nothing.  The replaceable air filter that the cleaner used was free.  And since there was no air cleaner, there isn't much need for the free air filters.  I had requested numerous times to get an itemized invoice so I know what I actually paid for and what was free.  The business refused saying that the contract was the invoice.  The contract made no mention that the air cleaner was free.  Regardless, air cleaner was promised and listed in the contract.  It costs the business to provide that product and labor.  And it did influenced my decision to hire the company.
A ** bulb was offered as an alternative, but that does nothing to help with my allergies.  ** kills mold and bacteria but doesn't filter particles.  They perform different functions with no overlap.  It was not an alternative and the salesman should have known.  It was something offered that I did not need to replace something that I needed and agreed upon in the contract.
The sales manager did not call me in July and no messages were left.  I can prove this with my phone company.  If I did receive a call, I would have called back just like I did when the credit manager had called me 2 months later.
I had actually requested to do the installation on ANY Saturday or Sunday because I could not afford to take another day off work.  The business refused not because it was a holiday.  As we all know, [redacted] is always on a Monday and never on a Saturday.  They had wanted 2 weekends to do the job.  One to take measurements and another to do the installation.  As I had already invested the 2 days needed for the installation, two more weekends is unacceptable.  It was at that moment that I felt uncomfortable letting these people in my house again.
I had initially requested the $1500, 10 year service agreement, but the sales manager refused.  Several days later, he offered it to me and I refused.  The reason is because during that time, I had learned that service agreements such as these were the most profitable product a company sells.  Because the systems I purchased were expected to last over 15 years I would have gained little benefit from the service agreement.  In addition, after the unpleasant experience, I wasn't sure if I wanted 10 more years of that.  I am sure now.  I definitely don't want 10 more years.  Woodfin would rather offer me $1500 in services than give me a credit of $1000.
The $700 credit was not requested by me and was offered to me in lieu of the $1000 I had requested.  If they had agreed on the $1000, we wouldn't be in this position now.
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [redacted].

Annual service on oil furnace by Chris K at Woodfin. Professional, courteous, conscious of keeping our house clean throughout his work.
Showed up on time, completed quickly.

The delivery in question was indeed delivered that day, at approximately 8:49 p.m.  We are sorry that the night answering service was unable to communicate with the customer wether or not the delivery was going to occur, and we are taking steps to better inform our after hours service on the...

status of deliveries still out on the trucks during times of extreme weather and commensurate workload.  We were extremely busy on the day of this delivery, and had several drivers working late into the night to ensure the all deliveries were made.  We also make every effort to move a delivery up earlier in the day if a customer communicates with us that they are completely out of product, but we have no records of this being the case for this particular customer.
I would have liked to personally apologize to the customer, but I have been unable to reach them, leaving two voicemail messages with no return call.

Had a new Electric Hot water heater installed by Woodfin today. Service Techs were [redacted]. Started at 8:30 AM and were finished at noon. First rate job with top notch Techs!

Gene H was very friendly yet very professional. He assisted in acquiring a new kitchen faucet for me when the Delta faucet could not be repaired.

We again had a Woodfin technician in our home who was wonderful. [redacted], an electrician, came to fish our tv and components cables through our wall for our TV which is mounted over our fireplace. Throughout a very challenging and difficult "install," [redacted] had the patience and the determination to complete the job expertly and with enormous professionalism. He also replaced an outside socket which had gone bad....that dourly was a 15 minute job. Woodfin has always sent us the most personable, qualified, and gracious technicians and [redacted] ranks right at the top of these. This is why we have been faithful Woodfin customers for nearly 30 years.

Chris K. #48 from Woodfin, came by to repair our furnace (the night before thanksgiving). He did a good job and I heartily recommend him.

Chris K # 48 serviced our Air conditioner/heat pump maintenance today...he called prior to coming, provided explanations when asked, very professional and pleasant in his manner and attitude. Arrived during the time framework of his window of three hours.

My service technician was very courteous and professional. He put "covers" over his feet each time he entered the house, he cleaned up loose insulation which fell and he completely washed and cleaned the outside unit, which I don't recall anyone else ever doing. He was here when he said he would be and was very friendly and personable.

Awesome, thorough, and helpful service. Just a great experience all around, would recommend!

Adam J[redacted] #314 who works for Woodfin performed the plumbing inspection for our Richmond home. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and had some wonderful ideas for our over 80 year old, but well maintained home. There was no pressure to sell us any service or produce I highly recommend Adam J[redacted] and Woodfin. We have used many different plumbing and heating companies and they truly are the best!

[redacted] was prompt, courteous and professional. He did a thorough job inspecting our plumbing and gave us great advice.

Keith T[redacted] & Beamer were both excellent! They were the service technicians sent by Woodfin for a hot water tank issue. They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I really appreciate their professionalism!

Brandon called to tell me he was on the way, which I especially appreciated since my appointment was at 8:00 a.m. He was courteous, personable and informative. He described the results of his plumbing inspection, answered my questions and, at my request, showed me why he had included one particular issue I was not aware of. I would not hesitate to have Brandon follow up on any of the itemized issues when I am ready to address them.
