I just refinanced my FHA loan with 1st Rate and Joseph was amazing! He made the process extremely easy and stress free which was the complete opposite of what my first lender did. We did it completely over the phone and from different states, which I was skeptical at first but it was great. I will definitely be working with him again and already have recommended him to my friends.

My experience with 1st Rate was very good,they ask question regarding my eligibility and found the right situation for me and my family.

I would recommend 1st Rate to anyone refinancing or seeking a mortgage.

We recently refinanced two VA mortgages with 1st Rate Home Mortgage, and Troy Johnson was our broker. Normally, I wouldn't bother commenting on, or rating a mortgage company, but the level of customer service we received from Troy was so great, he really earned five star status. He was always available to answer any questions and sort through any issues we had, and he made the process easier for both loans.

Excellent Company and Mr. David Lopez is quite the professional, very knowledgable and make the refinance process a breeze. He accomplished his work in an expeditious and excellent manner and remained in touch with me throughout the entire process.

I ask a lot of questions--very cautious about financial agreements, wary of deals that seem too good to be true, but curious about my options. So I responded to a postcard from 1st Rate Home Mortgage, Inc and got to work with Cameron Haleen.

He spent a lot of time with me on our first conversation, establishing an understanding of our goals, then presenting a few great options. He figured out a refinance option on our VA loan that scored us a LOW (2.75% fixed) interest rate, 15 year term, a savings of over $400/month (less than what we are currently paying), no points, no prepayment penalty, no out of pocket expenses at closing, and no fees added to the principal.

I asked how is his company compensated for their service since there was no mention of fees. In other words what are they getting from this refinance. Cameron was up front about credits received from the lender that covered our costs and their fees. Armed with information on a great deal, I went to my current lender to see if we could get a better deal or one similar to the one offered at 1st Rate Home Mortgage, Inc. Nope! Not even close!

Cameron walked us through the paperwork and explained everything--patiently going through questions when we weren't clear about something. I read every word on every document, googled every unfamiliar term to verify the information Cameron shared with us. I am emphasizing this to say that Cameron and the company 1st Rate Home Mortgage, Inc can be trusted. Not one misstep! He let us know that there may be a slight difference with the numbers on the final paperwork, however any adjustments were pretty close to the estimates and we were already well aware of that possibility.

Everything was done electronically and the Notary came to the house to complete the documents.

When the Notary came by to complete the final paperwork on our refinance, she said she had NEVER seen an interest rate as low as ours with terms as good as our loan (no points to buy down the rate, no out of pocket closing costs).

We were also happy that our documents included that they don't sell our information to other businesses.

Interest rates go up and down and deals come and go. But working with Cameron, we were able to accomplish one of the best decisions we made in 2016. Now we are looking forward to paying off our home sooner than planned.

It was a real pleasure working with Tim Regan of 1st Rate Home Mortgage, He is very Professional, Courteous, Kind and Honest. He walked me through the process of refinancing our home and it was simple, easy and fast. He was always available every time I needed to call him if I had questions or concerns and he continually kept me informed and updated.
