This company uses scam sales techniques as exactly described here: http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/ftc-combats-tech-support-scams I received a cold call and they walked me through telling me I had computer problems when I know what they were says was wrong (I'm in the computer business, so they tried to scam the wrong business.) Unsure if all the positive reviews on here are legitimate and people not realizing they bought something they possibly didn't need, or if they're postings by the company itself

THIS WAS A SCAM INVOLVING ME, A 64 YEAR OLD DISABLED MALE WITH MAJOR ANXIETY DISORDER. I WAS CALLED AND TOLD THAT 4 HACKERS FROM INDONESIA HAD GAINED ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION IN MY [redacted] ACCOUNT. I ALLOWED THEM ACCESS TO THE COMPUTER AND THEY SHOWED IP ADDRESS THAT SHOWED THE HACKING. THEY ASKED FOR 500 DOLLARS FOR A LIFETIME SERVICE FOR 2 LAPTOPS. I ASKED THEM HOW I WOULD KNOW IF THEY WERE SCAMMING ME. THEY BROUGHT ME TO THE BBB PAGE SHOWING THEIR A RATING. I TOLD THEM TO CALL BACK I WOULD DISCUSS THIS WITH SOMEONE MORE SAVVY THAN ME. THEY SAID THAT I I DISCONNECTED THE CALL THE HACKERS WOULD KNOW AND PROCEED WITH THEIR PLAN. I WAS SCARED AND SIGNED THEIR ONLINE CONTRACT AND GAVE THEM AUTHORIZATION TO TAKE $550 DOLLARS FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. I SPENT A SLEEPLESS NIGHT AND CALLED MY BANK THIS MORNING AND THEY TOLD ME THEY SCAMMED ME. THE CHECK HAS BEEN STOPPED. THE AGENT HAS BEEN CALLING ALL AFTERNOON. I WAS ADVISED NOT TO TAKE THEIR CALLS. I HAVE TRIED TO LOG A COMPLAINT ON THIS SITE BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN A FRIENDLY ONE AND AS OF NOW HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FILE A COMPLAINT. ANYONE WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO LODGE A COMPLAINT, PLEASE COMMENT.
