After several issues including communication and professional abilities,we lost confidence in this company to follow through on the contract.
We contacted Green Terra Homes in October 2017. After several emails and telephone call and texts, we decided to drive 3 hours to the location in Trenton to meet with the sales representative ***. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment, nobody was there and we had to wait an hour for *** to arrive. This is should have been the clue to run. We met with *** and went over our wants and wishes. We asked a lot of questions and were satisfied with the answers we received. We drove home and the next business day, I contacted a mortgage broker to begin the process to access funds for a construction mortgage and a second mortgage on my current property to be able to provide GreenTerra Homes with the deposit they requested. It was a total of $33,277.20. We were advised that somebody would be contacting us to schedule a meeting with the designer to get a set of plans started. A few weeks passed before this took place. We connected via *** with video to provide ***, the designer with our floor plans. He said he had enough information to get this done in approximately 10 days. 10 days came and went and then on the 13 day,a Friday afternoon we receive a plan. It contained very little of what we had discussed 2 weeks earlier and the delivery went from 3 trucks to 6 trucks. Our masterbedroom had no way in/out. The list of details missed goes on and on. After some discussion between *** and I we decided we would not be comfortable proceeding beyond this point with this company and asked for a refund. However, phones and email were rarely ever responded to or answered. *** had suggested we meet again to go over the draft of the floor plans. I asked what time on a weekend worked for him and he replied he doesn't work weekends. I tried many times to call him to advise that we could not meet any other time as I just had a total hip replacement and could not travel that far in a car so it had to be *** that took on this design process. It was still impossible to meet on a weekend. After several phone calls to different people in the company, I finally reached *** to say we were requesting a refund and are well within the time frame for a complete refund. I received two emails telling me my reasons for my refund request could be fixed and that with notice, *** could meet on a weekend. ***'s email was very different. It was too late, *** and I had lost confidence in this company to do what they said or when they said. From many...too many phone calls unanswered and emails ignored, the relationship could not continue. Then, the refund request is promised in 30 business days. That equates to approximately 6 weeks from the date the refund was requested. At the 30 days mark, I email and don't get a response. I call and leave *** an email to request an update on my refund request. 4 days later I get an email advising they answered my question a day after I asked. I have no email on the date it was sent. I am told the refund would be at their offices in Trento on the 4-5 of April and then Express Post to me but I would receive an notice of this before it happened. It is now April 9 and I emailed on April 6 and no reply. I try to call and guess what...they don't answer calls from my caller id. So, they block my number so I can't follow up. I call from my work cell phone and now it is also blocked. I need help. I want my full refund of $33, 277.20. Nothing less!

Full payment was made nov 22 contacted dec 5 with engineering plan. Last and allowed change dec 24th email of contact only returned Jan 2nd draft not until Jan 8th signed and returned same day. Contacted the 11th about green terra wanting to change window size to a smaller window then in draft. My answer no I tried to arrange windows myself through *** in laws company, but decided to leave everything in my builders hands. No communication from company for a month on progress or changes then when I contacted them via email said mid feb then end of feb then mid march.no actual date. Then when I said a required date they told me no. The end of march the 23rd or the 26th. Again not 1date to arrange hauling. As it's over sized from originally told (weight) then *** called me from New Brunswick last night to say it could be done late feb 16th only to change his mind again when I emailed my contact *** at green terra resenting her initial dates of march 23rd or 26th. I specifically said needed to be finished for *** to start school march break. Arranging a lot propane water and licensing all takes dates and time. If it can not be finished by march 16th I want all of my money back by that date! So I can make other arrangements. I can not keep accepting changes to vague due dates and finishes. When I have been the one making compromises with weight size living accommodations well waiting on no solutions and the shower issue now this week. First I'm hearing of it. But the companies suppliers or ordering are being done improperly. To cause this many delays. *** Friday the 16th of march now denying saying it and no reimbursememt had been arrange leaving us with no where to live.
