Bad advise and got hung up by Management
I was advised to purchase items that were not needed and when delivered it was a danger for my children. I tried explaining to sales woman and manager and they were trying to make me purchase more items and didn't care for the safety of my kids

Desired Outcome

I want to exchange not needed merchandise advised from sales woman for something else if they don't want to take back . I want a respectful manager to talk to me and not act vulgar and hang up on me .

the costomer service was bad
me and my husband went to go get a couch from them and ended up getting a sectional insted we ended up paying 600.00 for the couch and 50 for the delivery fee we were told that we would get the tuesday which that was the next day so at furst we were told between 5 and 7 and and that we will be getting a call a hour before they come so my husband gets a call at 1230pm saying it will be there between 1pm and 2 pm so then it never come I had to take a uber home because my husband was at him waiting so at 5pm I called them they said by 7 it will be here my husband called at 620pm and then they said 830pm them they said before 11pm so we kept getting diffrent stories so we decided to go up there to get a refund back so we can take our busniess to a diffrent furunture place when we got there the manager and the employess were rude and disrespectful to my husband saying that they wont refund our money unless we pay 30 percent for restocking fee and we said why when it isnt our falt that it is yours for telling us 4 diffrent things they continued to be rude to my husband and disrespectful pointing the fingers in his face yelling at him them one of the guyds threatend to beat his *** if we didnt leave and that he has been fightinf for years what the heck thats not how an employee or manager should treat an customer so we called the garland pd to help us out with this situation so we talked to the cop for a whille and he went and asked can you atleat give them the delivery fee back and they will take the couch and just deal with it the manager lauohged at the cop and disrespected him so we didnt get any refund or delivery fee back for there mistake we ended up getting the couch and it was the same one diffrent color

we would like the 50 dollar delivery fee back

After buying my first home, I was excited to shop for furniture. On 7/30/19, I purchased a dining set, the floor model, for $6500. I was told the items would be delivered on 8/1 between 6-8pm.

Soon after I left the store, I began receiving constant phone calls and texts regarding the purchase and my delivery. The salesperson, Carla, called to tell me the owner was very upset that she had sold me the floor model, and asked if I would let them keep it and instead wait 3 weeks for delivery since their policy is not to sell the floor models. I refused, but she continued to ask. Then, the owner, Sam reached out to me about my purchase. All of this left me very uneasy, so I began shopping for another option.
Luckily, I was able to find another set for less than half the price of the one purchased from 5 Star at another store. I immediately texted Sam at 3:45pm to confirm that the dining set had not been picked up for delivery yet. He confirmed by text it was still there at the store and scheduled for pick up and deliver later in the evening. So I told him to cancel the order and I would instead use the money I had paid to purchase a $5400 bedroom set I needed. He then called me very upset telling me that I was not able to cancel it and I wasn't allowed to change my mind because now the furniture was already out for delivery. This was right after I just confirmed it was still in the store. I told him I wouldn't accept delivery of the furniture.
I immediately headed to the store, arriving around 4:45pm, and the furniture was wrapped in plastic but still sitting on the showroom floor. The owner Sam was extremely rude and insisted on charging me a 30% return fee of $1950 even though the items never left his location, were never delivered, or signed for.
