To whom it may concern:I just read their response from A & E Glass and their workers are NOT telling them the truth. They did say they would fix the panels when they sent out the guy to tint the windows - he looked at them and said he cannot fix the panels because he did not do the glass work and spoke with the owner of the company and told him that, while I was standing there. They then sent the guy out that originnally installed the glass and he tried to tell me that he did not remove the panels to install the glass. The panels have never been removed prior to A & E Glass touching them.They did not repond so I took my truck to the dealer that I have had all my work done since I purchased the truck new. They said there are two types of clips inside the panels - there are ones built into the panels and clips that hook into the metal of the door and they snap into each other - the problem is that the clips the installer broke are the ones that are built into the panels. It cannot be fixed by replacing the clip - the panels have to be replaced.The total the dealership gave for the work breaks out like this:Glass and Tint to ford glass          $   600.34Panels replaced                           $1,620.00Estimate fee                                      79.95Total all together                          $2,300.29I feel sorry for A & E Auto Glass, they have an untrustworthy employee that is costing them their reputation. I hope they realize the damage this man is doing to their business.Attached is the Receipt from Rodeo Ford for your review.Sincerely.[redacted]

THIS WAS A CASH JOB.  REGULAR WHOLESALE PRICE FOR HIS VEHICLE SHOULD HAVE BEEN $180.  ALL OTHER GLASS SHOPS CHARGE BETWEEN $240 & 300.   THIS CUSTOMER RECEIVED A GREAT DEAL WITH THE $40 OFF.   HE ONLY PAID $140 FOR THE WINDSHIELD INSTALLED.  THE $40 HE IS REFERRING TO IN...

I was referred this company by a friend who had informed me that they offer a $100 dollar incentive for changing out my windshield. I called and spoke with Gabriel who confirmed that the $100 incentive was still active. Upon the arrival of the repair guy I asked how it worked with the $100 dollar incentive and he had no clue what I was talking about so he contacted the office manager Debbie P[redacted] who reassured me over the phone that she would have the $100 check sent out that after noon. A week later without receiving the check I contacted Debbie P[redacted] and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about at first and then stated that Gabriel said he told me nothing about the $100...I then "reminded" her that a week prior she herself stated that she would have the check sent out that same day and that clearly Gabriel was lying. At this time she told me to give her until the following morning and that either way I would receive my $100. I tried contacting Gabriel but of course there was no answer. The following morning comes and at 11:00 AM with no call received I decided to call and was then told that the check was on the way after being put on hold. Two days later I finally received my check. How ever the friend who referred me who went through twice as much hassle as I did recently informed me that the check he finally received bounced.

I am extremely disappointed by this company. They wrote me a check for a windshield rebate. I was informed by my bank that the check had bounced... It was only $60. Now my bank has charged me $12. I have spoken with several people and they tell me they will send another check... REALLY? This was over a week ago. I just called again and spoke with the same woman who apologized and said she would send it right out....AGAIN! This is ridiculous and very poor customer service not to mention that I am a single mother on a very tight budget.

WE HAVE RECIEVED THIS COMPLAINT AND WE WILL HAVE THIS PROBELM HANDLED THIS WEEK. A & E STRIVES TO HAVE HE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. AN INSTALLER WILL BE IN CONTACT FOR SURE THIS WEEK AND THE OFFICE WILL BE IN CONTACT WITH THE CLIENT TO MAKE SURE ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN HANDLED .

WE HAVE SENT OUT CUSTOMERS CHECK

[redacted] WAS HAND DELIVERED $100. CASH TO HER BY A PLACE CHOSEN BY HER.   [redacted] TOLD HER SHE WOULD PERSONALLY DELIVER A CASHIER CHECKS AND [redacted] SHE GAVE HER CASH.   IT WAS DELIVERED  2/4/2014 @ 6PM

The customer had called and spoke to the owner once and the owner gave the gentleman his direct cell phone number. The owner advised the customer to go to [redacted] to have the car alarm system checked. The owner also told the customer our company would pay for the damages. It is not our company's...

fault it had been broken into. Our office had been broken into with a state of the arm alarm system intact, that didn't stop the break in from happening. If the customers car had been keyed in a parking lot would it be our company's responsibility to fix those damages? Our windshield installation had nothing to do with the car being broken into. The customer has the owners direct cell phone number and can call anytime. As we know the alarm system is in the same condition now as before we worked on the vehicle. I HAVE TOLD THE CUSTOMER TO GO TO [redacted] TO GET HIM ALARM FIXED. WE DON'T DO ALARMS! IF THE ALARM IS STILL NOT WORKING PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ALARM SHOP AND I WILL PAY THEM TO FIX THE ALARM. BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY ALREADY HAVE AND IF THEY HAVE AND IT STILL DUES NOT WORK PROPERLY IM SURE THEY WILL MAKE IT RIGHT. PLEASE LET ME BE CLEAR IT WAS NOT OUR FAULT SOMEONE DAMIDGED THIS VEHICLE! IT WAS THE PERSON THAT COMMITTED THE CRIME THAT IS AT FAULT. ONCE AGAIN A&E AUTO GLASS HAS NO PROBLEM PAYING TO FIX THE ALARM SYSTEM.

I JUST SPOKE WITH THE CUSTOMER AND WE HAVE AGREED TO MATCH ANOTHER COMPANY'S OFFER OF $50.00. SO WE ARE PUTTING A CHECK IN THE MAIL FOR $50.00 AND THIS IS OK WITH HIM.
