Thank you for submitting your auto repair estimate and for taking the time to share your comments regarding the issues you encountered with Emergency Road Service assistance on and after August 23. As an initial matter, on behalf of our entire organization, I offer you our sincerest apologies for the extended time it took for our field service representative to contact you and to investigate your damage claim. We note that you auto repair estimate includes the cost of materials and labor for repairs to running boards, driver door dents and replacement of a back window lock assembly. After inspection of your vehicle, our field service representative reported that the rusted out condition of the running boards (photographs enclosed) and the fresh appearance of the driver door dents were not consistent with the type of body damage that could occur when a vehicle slips off of a flatbed service truck. Our field service representative was also unable to conclude that the emergency road service slippage incident on August 23 caused damage to the back window lock assembly. Based upon our representative’s inspection and assessment of possible damage to your vehicle that may have been the result of the emergency road service slippage incident on August 23, we cannot honor your claim for the cost of repairs to your vehicle’s rusted-out running boards. While we are not prepared to admit responsibility for the damage to the driver door or the window lock assembly, we, nevertheless, are willing to offer you $599.40 (the estimated cost of labor, materials and tax for the dent and lock repairs) to resolve and release your claims. If you wish to accept our offer of settlement, please sign and return the enclosed release form and include a copy of the vehicle’s registration, and we will mail you a check in the amount of $599.40 for the cost of the materials and labor to repair the driver side door dents and window lock assembly, as noted in the estimate you provided on September 16, 2015, from [redacted].  If you should have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at ###-###-####. Sincerely, Thomas [redacted]Executive Vice President

A member services supervisor from AAA East Central spoke to the member and apologized for the issue.  We will be sending a check in the amount of $74.00.  The member was grateful for the apology and for the resolution.

On October 9, 2014, a membership was purchased in the amount of $44.00.  The membership was valid until October 31, 2015.   The call for road service on February 21, 2015, was the first request for the membership:• During the heavy volume period, AAA was unable to provide service and the...

member did contact a company for outside services.  • The company contacted to provide service for their Mazda was [redacted].  The fee of $155 was indicated on the receipt sent by the member.• The member was reimbursed $30.00, the traditional fee for tire service.  Understandably, the situation was a disappointment, as the amount reimbursed was not as expected.  To resolve the situation, we will initiate a check to the member in the amount of $169.00.  The check represents the cost of the membership of $44 and the difference in the receipt for outside services, minus the amount already reimbursed.  In addition, the membership will be cancelled.

dated May 17, 2016, with our Emergency Road Service Call Center Manager, you
agreed and acknowledged the summary of roadside assistance calls for your
membership year of May 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016, had exceeded the maximum
yearly allowance.  Further in reviewing
your membership historical records, you had also exceeded the maximum yearly
allowance in the 2013 membership year.
 
Since
you have opted to not pay the outstanding Emergency Road Service usage charges
and have not renewed your membership for the 2016-17 year, we will accept your
non-renewal of AAA membership and no further action will be taken by AAA East
Central to recoup the $821.01 of outstanding surcharges.

I am writing in response to complaint #[redacted] by [redacted] about her AAA membership automatically being renewed.

Our records show that [redacted]  joined AAA in January 2009 and there was a lapse in her membership renewal between January 2010 and June 2011.
 
In June 2011, she added [redacted] to the membership for one year through a special offer which gave him the one year membership for free. The special offer also included a discounted membership fee for [redacted] from $49 to $44 because she took advantage of the auto pay option.
 
Since [redacted] took advantage of the auto pay option, her membership was automatically renewed for both she and [redacted] in June 2012 for $78 and June 2013 for $78.

A representative from our Administration Department spoke with the member today, June 23.  The member received the check yesterday and is happy with the resolution.

Before contacting the Revdex.com, the member did contact AAA directly, approximately four months ago, regarding the same issue.  A member relations counselor phoned and never received a call back from the member.     A member relations counselor has been in touch with the...

03/30/17  AAA has inspected the damage and could not determine the cause of the damage.  Since there is no clear and concise evidence that the damage falls under the liability of the contractor, AAA cannot advise the contractor to make restitution.  Member was advised he could go...

The monies from the second charge by the member's credit card company were never received by AAA.  Therefore, we needed a copy of the charge, and after our Director of the Member Service Center spoke with the member, he promptly sent a copy of his statement showing the second...

charge for the three memberships.  New memberships were issued and sent to the member.  We have now contacted the credit card company requesting the payment.

Called [redacted] Tuesday, September19, 2017.  Apologized for the misinformation regarding Plus membership. [redacted] paid $49.00 for Class membership on March 21, 2017.  She paid $22.67 for Plus midyear upgrade on May 10, 2017. Offered to reimburse [redacted]...

[redacted] the $22.76 for Plus upgrade or AAA would waive 2 road service calls from her entitlements leaving her with 2 road service call for the remainder of her membership year January 1, 2018. Resolution:[redacted] wanted 2 road service calls waived.  AAA has waived 2 road service call off her entitlement so [redacted] will have 2 road service calls remaining for the membership year expiring January 1, 2018.  [redacted] satisfied with resolution.
