Jake Sweeney Automotive, and all other dealers, must adhere to the lenders when it comes to the financing of vehicles. When a lender calls to verify either employment or residency and the information provided to them differs than the original application, the lender can return the deal. In this case, the applicant is considered a "seasonal employee". This is why the lender returned the deal. Jake Sweeney Mazda West is in the business of selling cars, not taking them back.  Jake Sweeney Mazda West diligently tried to find another lender to purchase the loan for Mrs. Oneal. Unfortunately due to her credit and employment situation they were unable to find another lender.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] My view on the matter is they did not keep the contract [redacted] and I made.  They slandered me in their responses and if they think I would even want to ever step foot in their establishment again they are as crazy as they are liars.  It was actually proved the opposite to me on the drive with the cruise control man.  However it worked when he did something he just said that was how it was supposed to work.  I attached other reviews stating the exact issues I had with it.  Mazda never tested it out, they refused to go for a drive with me.  I can just picture the corrupt manager and his croney laughing it up as they made their fictitious reply.  The manager at this Mazda thinks he is akin to Hitler and treats women like they are little children who should just shut up and do his bidding.I am not certain it all my materials will be posted but I believe they prove that the manager is immature and unprofessional.  I believe most of the salesmen their are afraid of him because he uses his position to "lord" over the dealership.  I believe he thinks he is a big man but in reality he and his cohorts in crime are very small men.I do not believe he would have treated a man in this manner.  They lied and did not keep our contract.  The cruise control did not work safely and in any type of consistent manner.  For the record it was a Rostra.  I cannot say enough bad things about this experience.  I hope other people will be forewarned before doing business with Jake Sweeney Mazda or for that matter any Jake Sweeney establishment if this is the type of employee they have in charge.I also realize since the Revdex.com has no power over these companies and anyone can be a member the Revdex.com can not really help people resolve these issue when a company is dishonest.   I just hope all the evidence I submitted is available for consumers to view.

[The HR assistant never told the lender I was part time. My position is not part time it is full time. My pay stubs were not inconsistent, that can be proved. However the calls that took place between the lender and HR assistant were recorded and as well as the emails that were sent. I have documents of pay stubs that were sent to the dealership both show 80 hours because I am full time. I was refunded my down payment however that didn't take care of the late payments caused by the dealership not sending the payoff for the Chevrolet cobalt in which they ageeed to payoff. Jake Sweeney is only addressing the issue of me returning the car that is only part of the problem. The real issue is the late fees that I accrued due to them not sending the payoff which also caused a negative impact on my credit.]

Attached you will find the documents [redacted] signed acknowledging her vehicle was being sold AS-IS no dealer warranty from Jake Sweeney Mazda West.

To Whom It May Concern: [redacted] purchased a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox in February of this year. At time of purchase she added a cancelable aftermarket product. Mrs. [redacted] came into Jake Sweeney Mazda West the week of June 6th and signed all necessary documentation to cancel the product. This...

process usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to process, however Jake Sweeney Mazda West was able to rush the cancellation. [redacted], where the vehicle is financed, should receive the check any day. It may take a couple extra days due to the holiday weekend. Our service department has reached out to Mrs. [redacted] to schedule her vehicle to be inspected for the overheating and idling issue. dealing with our other store and was unable to agree on numbers. She had found,
on our website, the vehicle that that she wished to purchase. At that time she
gave us the stock number of the vehicle and told...

delivery the following day. We obliged and had the vehicle that she picked out
filled with gas and ready for her. When she was here to pick up her new car
everything went extremely well. After all negotiations she asked if we could
also include a rear cargo mat and rear bumper guard. So after everything was
already done we still helped her out and included additional accessories. She
was THRILLED with us that we worked with her so much. Regarding the trade, the
times that we spoke to [redacted] after the sale we explained that we actually
took more money off the price of the car than the other store. We tried to
explain and show her numerous times that she was actually getting a better deal
when you looked at the whole deal rather than just the trade. The first place
that we sent the vehicle to have the windows tinted she was unhappy with. So we
paid a different company to remove the old tint and apply new window tint. She
was then unhappy with the window tint the second time. So we sent her a check
to get the window tint done at a place of her choice because she was not happy
with either of the company's we use. We had her bring the vehicle in to our
service department to see all the "damage" that was done to the
vehicle by the supposed window tint. There was now damage behind the door
panels or liquid affecting the vehicle what so ever. The rear view camera is on
the back of the vehicle and the front 2 windows were tinted. We explained that
the camera does get dirty due to the elements ie: rain, dirt, salt, etc. The
mileage they was told to her comes directly from Mazda the manufacturer and the
monroney sticker, NOT from Jake Sweeney Mazda West. Jake Sweeney Mazda West went
over and beyond to give Katherine a great deal and great service.[redacted]General

Any and all dealers need to adhere to lenders. In this case the lender returned the deal to employment verification. We attempted to secure financing at another bank with no success. Jake Sweeney Mazda West does not control lender guidelines and policies. We are at the mercy of the lenders and there verifications when a loan goes into underwriting. When a lender returns a deal, our only option is to try find another lender. Due to her current situation we were not able to find another bank to finance her. That is why she cannot get a loan at another lender. Jake Sweeney had no affect on her securing financing after she returned our car because she could not secure financing, again due to her current situation. Jake Sweeney will work with the credit bureaus to try to get the inquires off her credit.

We had 1 lender willing to give Mrs. [redacted] a pre-approval based on the information that was provided to the lender. [redacted] had recently started her job and she was required...

to bring a paystub back to the dealership. When Jake Sweeney Mazda West received the paystub and sent it to the lender, the hours worked were not constant with what was submitted. The bank tried to reach out to [redacted]'s HR department which her HR department told the lender she was part time. Due to the income coming in lighter than submitted the lender returned the deal. Mrs. [redacted] stated she was full time and not part time. Jake Sweeney gave her the benefit of the doubt and let her keep the car until we received another pay stub. When the lender got the following paystub the hours were still inconsistent. Unfortunately at that time the lender returned the deal. We tried to find another lender to go thru, but due to her current situation, we were unable to. [redacted] [redacted] was refunded all of her down payment.

This did not happen and my accounting of the billing  does not match with the steps taken by Jake Sweeney Mazda which resolved in part some the disputes in my complaint, they did not perform their promise, "that it would all be taken care of". Now no one returns my calls, despite being a repeat customer of Jake Sweeney I can no longer trust them.
