We had a great experience purchasing a new Ford Edge at Jack Kain Ford in Versailles, KY in April After several decades of purchasing foreign vehicles, we decided to return to American made cars, and we are happy we did - we love our new Ford It was a pleasure working with BRADD GRAY He helped guide us through several options for a vehicle that would give us the room we needed for a growing familyNot only was Bradd an excellent Salesman, he proved to be a great babysitter while we were occupied with completing our paperwork Our little girls are still talking about "MrBradd"Thanks Bradd!!! Jack Kain Ford in Versailles has an excellent team It was a pleasure working with everyone we met from the owner to the receptionist We are very pleased with our experience - great vehicle, great Salesman, great dealership I recommend visiting Jack Kain if you are shopping for a vehicle

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I never instructed Kevin’s men to use the sliding door I can easily remove the child gate in the living room and would have if they had indicated that was the route they preferred In fact I gladly would’ve removed the gate to prevent the refrigerator from being dented and scratched Kevin came out to my house the next day to personally move my sofa and I took the gate down at his request The men actually told my husband that they knew exactly how to maneuver the refrigerator with the doors on through the slider because that is how they do it except for they didn’t have lift straps with them but would muscle it insteadSince Kevin wasn’t here with his employees/contractors at the time of the refrigerator move, I’m guessing they’ve given him a different impression of what occurred and what I said It is correct that I’ve withheld payment When the men scratched and dented the refrigerator, I asked them not to move the couch because I didn’t have confidence that they would not damage it tooThey immediately called Kevin to tell him of their mistake The guys apologized to me and said Kevin was upset with them but would call me later to fix things The guys also said that moving my refrigerator and couch was supposed to be a quick job on their way home after a long day of completing another client’s move I’m working with another Hillsboro company and I assure you I’ve paid them and it is not customary that I withhold paymentI have offered all along to pay Kevin for the move once we are made whole for the damaged refrigerator I’m not seeking something for freeIt is my goal to have my refrigerator restored to its original conditionI attempted in the following ways to work with Kevin on thisFirst, I called to see if my renter’s insurance policy would cover the repairs or replacementIt would notThe insurer informed me the moving company is responsible for repairs or replacement Second, I made the phone calls to Frigidaire regarding replacements doors and panelsI’d hoped it would be as simple as that but the dented panel that is visible from the stove and kitchen entry is not replaceable Third, I called a local appliance store looking for someone who could remove the dent and was told they don’t do that sort of thing and don’t know who does I really have tried to find ways to fix this rather than replace it Please see attached pictures of damageFinally, my husband informed Kevin that we were open to a certified refurbished and warrantied refrigerator but we never heard back from him other than he would lookSo after weeks we contacted Revdex.com This issue has been on-going for weeks now I don’t think slinging insults and accusations about our moral character is helping this situation As I told Kevin before, I come from a family of small business owners so I know how hard he must work to earn a living and run a business Both of my parents have run their own businesses here in the Pacific Northwest for over years Also, my back ground is customer service and it is in my nature to resolve issues not create them I did previously mention small claims court and will pursue that if we can’t come to an agreement that is fairThis isn’t a threat but rather an option if we can’t figure this out Finally, on 11/I had the opportunity to talk with another local moving company who were contracted by the US Navy to unpack our household goods which were transported to Oregon after my husband’s last duty stationThat company said if they had damaged my refrigerator it would be customary to repair it to its original condition or replace it My refrigerator (Frigidaire cuFt [redacted] ) is still being sold at local stores since it was originally purchased in It is currently on sale at Home Depot for $I will accept reimbursement in the amount of $($less $for the cost of moving my sofa and refrigerator) This is fair and reasonable since I will need to re-purchase an extended warranty as well as arrange for delivery of the replacement refrigerator May I remind you that I’m not coming out ahead since I originally paid $plus 8% sales tax, delivery and extended warranty fees Sincerely, [redacted]

On my last visit, a customer ahead of me (I do not know this person), had a complaint he expressed to the service desk attendantThe attendant explained the action taken by Ford was an approved process or action The customer respectfully disagreed(I silently agreed with the customer and was surprised that Ford had taken such a position) I will never forget Fords' position but was pleased to see that Ford corrected the issue before I leftBottom line: The customer was happy, I was impressed

Jack Kain Ford service department is the best place to have your Ford vehicle servicedI would definitely recommend them to anyone and was highly pleased with the work they did on my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would strongly recommend this company to anybody We had a mile move from house to house, but ended up with enough stuff to fill a 26' Uhaul twice guys in hours knocked out the job loading and unloading the truck and house They even made sure that our beds were set up so that we could pass-out after the long day ***, ***, [redacted] - They just simply worked their butts off Work was excellent, very careful, and polite They barely took a break during the whole day It has been a long time since I have seen a group of individuals with such a high work ethic and ability to do whatever it takes to please their customers

In response to this complaint I would like to state that I have attempted to work with ***A couple of things that should be noted: we were indeed instructed to use the specific doorAs the primary access or front door was not to be used as there was a gate up in the living room entry way that
she did not want to removeAdditionally no payment was made for servicesI came out and moved another item, couch, for her without payment azs wellThough she did not sign a waiver one was left with herI would also like to mention I made several attempts to find a resolution and fix the problem however *** was not cooperative and seems to only want t=something for free
*** contacted Fridgidair and priced replacing the doors at $less the cost of the moveI offered to pay for this and was denied as this was not a suitable option for her as there is a small dent aside from the doors which is not visibleI then offered to replace her used fridge with a similar or exact model I found miles awayI was going to deliver the fridge and remove the ol;d one free of costThis was not suitable either as she claimed her fridge is new (it is not it is used)At this point she demanded a new fridge or threatened civil courtHer husband then contacted me and said a certified used fridge is acceptable Upon proving these I could not find a similar model anywhere within miles and the ones I could closest were in the range of $to $900.
I will not be buying *** a new fridge, nor will I be purchasing a used one unless in the case I receive the old one which is damagedI will replace the doors at my expense less the cost of the move as good willI will not be sending a check for $I am already out of pocket for her move which was not paid for and I will not expend more to appease *** who obviously only wants to receive something for freeI do apologize about the issues and did try to resolve it, at this point however her requests are not reasonable

We had an excellent experienceWe were not bombarded as we walked the lot and the salesperson was very friendly and helpfulThe experience was not stressful and we came away with a positive impression
