Review: My wife bought two beauty products from an unidentified company on 12/14/15 pursuant to an ad that offered a free trial, just pay shipping and handling charges of $4.95. At no point in the ordering process was it apparent that the trial had to be cancelled or a phone call had to be made in order to avoid further charges. A couple of weeks later (on 12/29) and I believe before the product had even arrived, the company charged my credit card $87.47 for one item and $89.31 for the other item.

After our credit card statement arrived, my wife called the company. They said that the trial had to be cancelled with 14 days of the order to avoid further charges, but they would cancel her account and issue a credit. An email confirmation of the credit arrived the next day and was in the amount of about 1/3 of the charge ($30.61 for one item and $31.26 for the other). She called again and was put on interminable hold while the customer service person supposedly was summoning her supervisor. After about 30 minutes, she gave up. I then called the company a couple of days later and got a classic run around from customer service person, and a refusal to credit the account. She said that it was clear from the website that a cancellation had to occur within 14 days. That is simply not true and the product was not ordered from their website anyway. Customer service had to tell me the website address. If one goes to the website, in order to find the "terms and conditions", the purchase has to open a link and then read a lengthy document. Buried in the document, it is stated that the shipping and handling fee will be $5.95, not the $4.95 I was charged.

My wife believes the order was placed through some sort of email or pop –up marketing ad with no reference to "terms and conditions" and designed to disguise the fact that there will be additional charges. This company is engaged in false advertising. The products are junk and no one would knowingly pay this much for them.Desired Settlement: Full credit of $87.47 and $89.31 charges. This is a scam.

After reviewing the case in depth, we refunded the disputed amount.

Review: Absolute Rejuven charged my [redacted] credit card 4 times for products that I did not order and did not receive.(July 3,july 3,July 20, July 22, 2015). The amounts were $89.31, $87.47, $89.31, $87.47. I spoke to representatives of the company on August 5 and 6 of 2015 and they offeredno refund and then offered 25% and moved to 50% and then to 75%.....all for product that I did not order nor did I receive.Desired Settlement: I would like all charges from this company on my [redacted] account to be credited and refunded and would like this company to be on the Better Business report for companies that are considered scam operators and ones not to be used by any consumers.

Review: my wife signed up for a risk free trial of absolute derma skin care cream on 5-29-15 via their deceiving website absolutederma.com. She received the two samples on or about 6-1-15. Our credit card was charged 89.31 and 87.47 for two small samples from same company on 6-11-15. We did not authorize that. They said you have to cancel within the 14 day trial(which begins the day you order, not when you receive). My wife did cancel the product on 6-12-15(which is within their 14 day period). I called them on 6-15-15 and they refused to offer full refund. This is fraud and deceptive practices and a scam.Desired Settlement: complete refund of $176.78. Both absolute derma and [redacted] are the same company.

After reviewing our records we see that we already took care of this complaint. 06/15/2015 01:47pm -cust called to cancel said they were unaware of charges, compensate, voucher, cust okeyed, account settled. 6/15/2015 04:40pm - custs husband called asking for refund, explained policy, cust made threat, cust hung up, processed full refund. 06/15/2015 04:38pm - Refunded - $89.31 Trans-ID: [redacted]

Review: Got the product by responding to a free sample to which I have to only pay shipping. Knowing that usually involved product auto shipped after a brief period I looked for that when ordering but did not see anything. Nothing sent in email or on the shipping invoice received. Noticed my account was charged $89 two weeks before a package was received. Called to get the return info since again not listed on invoice. Two phone numbers on invoice and one said they were no longer handling absolute derma. Called the other number and was told have to pay shipping and restocking fee of $6. I a agreed then after I got the return # I was told that I could just keep the product for a large cut in price. That is very shady business. They are ripping people off. Why not be up front on the auto shipping and just give a good price to all.Desired Settlement: I don't feel I should have to pay a restocking fee. And I do not want to hear from this company after this is resolved.

Review: ordered product for shipping cost only of $ 4.95. no place durring the ordering did I see any other charges or reacurring month charges. my card was never charged $4.95 but $89.31 and $87.47. when I received the second shipment I called. they said no refunds or sending product back even unopened. they offered a gift card for $100.00 but never came. I asked to cancel but they sent me another shipment before they canceled my account. I tried everthing I could think of. As of now I am out $530.00. I asked them to send me the order form so I could see where they had that info about the charges. They said they would email me as soon as we were off the phone. it never came, I called back and they said the computers were down. call today again said cant find me in system. this is a big scam and they should take product back and give refunds. also an other company named [redacted] was charging my card as well. I hope you can help with this problem. I see they are already in your system, can you tell me what they are?Desired Settlement: would like to send back unopened product for full refund.

Review: I purchased Absolute Derma on July 9, 2015. I received the product on July 15, 2015. On July 23, I was charged $89.31. I called to cancel and ask for a refund since I hadn't had the product for the 14 days risk free trial period. They refused saying the 14 day trial begins when you place the order. How can they be allowed to do business this way when I didn't have the product in my possession for 14 days to guarantee the resultes they claim are so great.

When I spoke to the customer service representative as well as the supervisor, they were trying to offer me more product at reduced prices when all I wanted was a refund and to make sure I didn't receive any future orders. I do not want to do business with a company that dupes its customers into paying for something they haven't had adequate time to use. If their product was so great, they wouldn't have such a short trial period before they take your money.Desired Settlement: I just want a refund. I will send back the unused portion of the product if need be. I am extremely upset with their business practice.

After reviewing our records we see that on 7/24/2015 10:15am the customer called in. We reviewed our T&C that are listed on the website. That same day 7/24/15 we refunded 75% in which the customer agreed too. 07/24/2015 10:17am Refunded - $66.98 Trans-ID: [redacted]. Today we went ahead and refunded the remainder. 07/30/2015 03:22pm Refunded - $22.33 Trans-ID: [redacted]. Please allow a few business days for it to post.

Review: I ordered their product online on Dec 29, 2014. My first request to return the product was Jan 10, 2015. It was within their 14 day trial period. However, they refused to honor their own return policy. When I would call their number, no one would answer. I noticed today that they billed my account for the items. They sold me two items from the exact same phone number and exact same address, yet insist the items much be returned separately. They are very shady at best. Regardless, I tried to return the products within the allotted time frame, but they refused. I am disabled and have a great deal of difficulty via telephone which is why I do everything via email or letter. They refused to assist me. Then they billed me nearly $200 for their junk product which I requested to return! I was absolutely within the 14 day trial period and within my rights to return their product. Today, I FINALLY got a hold of someone at their phone number. Her name was [redacted]. She was completely incompetent. I had to give her my zip code 6 times, then my last name 4 times. She refused to accept the fact that I requested to return the product within the appropriate time.Desired Settlement: I don't want their junk products. I want to return both of their garbage products and have them refund my card immediately. They are an obvious scam pretending to be separate when the phone number and address they use for business is exactly the same. Something is obviously not right about this company. The FTC will also be made aware of them.

Review: Orderd a trial sample of their product with only shipping charges involved. Orded product on 3/1 - didn't receive product until 3/5. Cancelled any future orders on 3/15 due to reading "scam" articles regarding this company. On 3/16 my bank was charged $89.31 for the sample that I received. According to them you only have 14 days from the time you order - not 14 days from the time you receive. Seems a little coincendental that I cancel on 3/15 and get charged on 3/16. [redacted] is partnered with them because when I ordered the free sample of Derma I also got charged for shipping charges for the [redacted]. So I am now being charge $88.00 for the [redacted] (also after cancelling their order on 3/15)

I think it's false advertisement when saying all you have to pay is shipping charges of $3.95 and then you get billed 89.31. I've seen many complaints on the web regarding these 2 companies about not getting product and return of their money. How is someone supposed to know if they like the product within a few days. They could send out the product in 13 days and you only have one day to cancel. I think both of these companies need to be shut down on their false advertising of "free sample" for shipping charges only.Desired Settlement: Would like my money returned for my "free sample" of shipping charges only in the amount of $89.31.

Review: from an advertisement from Absolute Derma a trial offer was offerred wih a 14 day trial period. I received the product on the 11th of April 2015. The advertisement, as I understood was I would be billed monthly 89.31fora monthly subscription. The advertisement implied thetrial was 5.95. I was billed 89.31 and another 87.49 for an additional product [redacted]. The advertisement on television did not state or was it clear that I would be billed this additional 87.49 for the product. I called the company and asked for a refund for at least the 87.49, even though I wanted a refund for 89.31 since I hadnt had a full 14 days to see any resultsfrom the product. I still have both products unopened and still sealed. they offerred some type of voucher. I want my money bak and I will return it. neither did get a full 14 days to try the item it takes 3 to 4 days to reive the item. I am at the least requesting the additional 87.49 charged back to my debit card. The advertisement impies that there is one charge for the product. Upon calling the company, I got an apology that this was notmad clear. The representative claims that the two products go together, I explained that it was not clear that iwould be billed 2 separate charges and to allowmt to return he unopned products.this was a rip off and misrepresentation of what was advertised.Desired Settlement: I would likemy money back and all future advertisements disclose clearly what a person is being charged for and should be stated and diclosed in the email confirmations and orders.

Review: Absolute Derma advertises a product at a trial price of approximately $5.95. Hidden in the small print is the fact that if you do not cancel within 14 days of placing the order, they will auto ship future orders at a cost of $86-$89 each per month. When I realized this and called them 16 days after placing the order, they agreed to cancel future shipments but would not allow a return even though their website states that returns can be made by calling and obtaining and RMA number.Desired Settlement: Complete refund of the amount charged to my account.Order # [redacted]

Review: I ordered and received 2 facial cream products seen on [redacted]. Approximately 1 week after I received them, but had not yet used them, I decided to return them. About the same time, I noticed that the credit card which I used for shipping charges had been billed for both products; $87.47 and $89.31. I sent both products back and shortly after received emails confirming receipt of the products and one email confirming a refund of $87.47.I called the company to inquire about the second refund and was told it probably had not been processed through yet, but to check my accound in 48 hours and it would be. More like 3 days later, I checked and I had no refund or any email, so I called again. I spoke to the same customer service rep and she apologized and said I would receive both an email and a refund; no problem. The calls began 3/24; since that time, I am still waiting for the refund of $89.31. I have emailed to no avail and have given up on calling.Desired Settlement: I just want the $89.31 due to me

Review: This outfit keeps sending - and billing - for their product for which I've requested cancellation. I was not able to cancel on line, so I mailed in my cancellation notice. This is a scam ... they send products which I cannot cancel out on ... on line! mail was my only recourse (to get receipt of mailing notice).Product is not what it is cracked up to be!!!Desired Settlement: Credit my credit card with the amounts they have billed me for. I have returned their products by US mail.

Review: I ordered free samples from this Company for the charge of shipping & handling. I received these "free" products and I was charged for them. I then received another order of these products and have been charged twice even though the products were returned.Desired Settlement: I would like the reimbursement for these items.
