Accredited Interchange Reviews (78)

Accredited Interchange strives to make sure every customer is 100% satisfied with their new processing setup. We understand, however, that we cannot please everyone. On behalf of the entire company, we sincerely apologize for your dissatisfaction. We have no record of selling you
a terminal… Looking at your notes, I see here that your Interchange Agent *** *** negotiated with his supervisor and placed a free terminal at your location at no cost to you. As an Interchange provider we are forced to use certain encryptions for file builds. Your previous processor, ***, uses an encryption that is not compatible with our file builds. The price of a new encryption cost more than just purchasing a new terminal. Unfortunately our hands were tied and we had no choice but to use another terminal. Sensitive to your “hot points” and the fact that you explained that you paid $for that terminal, we thought it best to give you a free one. We also have in our records that *** *** did in fact show up to your business on several occasions to assist you. The last time we sent him out, he had a 1pm meeting with you, and when he showed up you were gone. I have a recorded call from our support department that called you to let you know that he was there for the meeting, and you explained that you had errands to run, and that you were currently at the bank and would be anther minutes. Unfortunately he had other appointments and could not stay until you returned. We understand that this industry is hard to understand, and many times the processing companies are stuck bearing the grunt of industry restrictions. We would like to resolve this amicably. Accredited agrees to take you out of collections for the money owed, as long as you pay a reduced penalty of $350. Unfortunately we cannot reduce the penalty any less than that, we incur costs to setup new accounts. These costs are waived under the expectation that new clients will honor their 36-month agreement. Over time we slowly make up those fees, but those fees must be paid in full upon early termination

Beware of this company, it's a scamMy representative, Thomas C, came here and promoted a lot of BS to meI was told this would save me money, I was told there is no monthly fee, but yet they're charging me $a month and other feesI was told the charge anywhere app is free but I am getting charged by them alsoi was told to do a $charge a month to avoid monthly fees, this month I had no sales, rang up one dollar and got charged by them and by charge anywhereI was specifically told this would save me money from using the square appThis has actually cost me a lot moreI have recently come to cancel my service and I'm being told there's a $1,penalty for cancelingThe customer service has been horribleI have tried to reach out to my rep numerous times and he refuses to call me backI will be taking legal action and I will be cancelling my service with themDo not deal with this company, you are better off using the square app or other processing services that charge you a flat rate and don't try to scam hard-earned money from small businesses
its very obvious the majority of the reviews saying positive stuff are fake, which is also illegaldo NOT deal with this company
On September 1st I canceled my service and they immediately sent me to collections for over $2,even though by law they must give daysFurthermore this company has left my business slanderous and defamatory reviewsI also found out that Thomas C is not even a real person, he's actually either Eric or Anthony k, owner of conpanyIt's hard to say which one because they are twinsThis company is defrauding people and involved in highly illegal activityThe two reviews on behalf of Muhammad and Chris posted above are the exact same accounts that left my business negative reviewsI'm in the process of selecting an attorney to retain, all of them have told me I have a very easy case for defamation of character

I was impressed with the level of knowledge and professionalism that Thomas C provided We switched processors six months ago and could not be happier! He cut my fees in half and upgraded our credit card machineI highly recommend Accredited Interchange! Great Job I am Very impressed!!

Great people to work with I have a very nice local representative, Travis, who checks in on me all the time He lowered my rates, gave me online access to my account which shows EVERYTHING I need to know, and helped me setup my website shopping cart with no hassle Thank you Accredited Interchange, you guys rock!

Accredited Interchange
***,
I have attached items for your review. The proposal that you were given, the
contract that you signed, and the interchange rates that Thomas sent you while
making adjustments to your account
You’ll notice that nowhere on this paperwork does it state
that we guarantee you a fixed rate. Our
program is a pass through interchange program; every rate is different. The proposal clearly states that these
numbers are not guaranteed from one month to the next, they are only based on
the current statement under review. It
also clearly states that the rates will vary.
When you called in to get this issue fixed, we jumped on the
opportunity to make things right by you, and show you that we are a great
company to work with, but you had already switched to another company. Rash decisions like that only create more
conflict. Now you are in contracts,
and using web based disparagement in an attempt to get out of your agreed
terms. Unfortunately, with other
processors involved, an amicable solution seems impossible
Please understand that all of our sales agents are trained
to say the same script. Nowhere in that script
does Accredited offer a fixed rate. Jon,
your agent, has signed over merchant accounts with Accredited, and has had
no complaints from any of his customers.
On ride alongs with upper management, he has always said the script word
for word. Your claims are unscrupulous.
We tried to make you happy to the best of our
abilities. We gave you a free account. Take a look at your statement, you sent one
to Revdex.com. It’s clear to see you are on
Interchange pass through plus .0005%.
You signed a contract for .1%, so we gave you a much better deal than
you actually signed for. Every $20,
that you process only makes Accredited $10.
A very fair price. Your
equipment was leased at cost to Accredited as well. Again, no excessive markup. Rather, a very fair deal.
We tried to solve this per your terms, but you are being
unreasonable. As a courtesy, because of
your volatile nature, we were going to let you out of your contract with
Accredited to protect our Sales Agent.
But you are holding us accountable for another companies contract as
well. Accredited does not have authority
to cancel a non-cancellable lease that you signed and agreed to.
Since we have more than honored our agreement, and attempted
on several occasions to satisfy your needs at no avail, we are no longer
negotiating with you. We are holding you
accountable to your contract. You will
remain in collections for the full amount owed, and if you feel the need to get
lawyers involved our collections department has lawyers ready to handle those
matters in court

You are sending the equipment back, so does this resolve
your issue. You failed to give a reason
why our proposed resolution will not work for you, but you are moving forward with
the resolution
We are trying to help, please provide your desired
resolution

On behalf of the entire customer service department at Accredited Interchange we’d like to apologize for your frustrations while working with us. Theses issues regarding your Sales Agent *** *** are why he was fired.
"">In the complaint you mention that your Agent forced you into a lease when you didn’t need the equipment, and that he would not return your calls. *** ***’s unprofessional behavior is why he only lasted month at Accredited Interchange before he was let go. We don’t understand how you can quote him on this complaint calling Accredited Interchange a shady business, when he obviously took advantage of you. Our records show that he sent you the contract on June 19, so that you could think about the deal and make sure it made sense for you. A few days later he was given approval to move forward. We also have record of you calling the corporate office on November 16th asking for lower rates, which we honored. We have done everything that you asked. The issues with your previous processor are not at the fault of Accredited Interchange, you need to take it up with them. Our records indicate that on June 29th we mailed them the necessary paperwork to cancel your account. At that point we are powerless. If they disregarded the letter signed by you and referencing your MID to cancel, we have no way of knowing. Had we been notified that you were still being charged minimums by that company, we would have asked that you fax them the letter directly, and send us the statement showing your ETF paid in full so that we can reimburse it to you. We were never notified, and cannot be held accountable for $800. If you cancel that account, and send us the merchant statement showing the paid ETF, we will reimburse the ETF in full, as well as months worth of the minimum payments you made to that company as a good faith payment. In the future please contact your customer support team at the corporate office so that we can take care of all of your concerns. Reaching out to shady sales agents that have been fired will not help matters. Especially when said sales agent is the one that leased you equipment that you didn’t need. The $chargeback is not at the fault of Accredited Interchange; you are processing on a Gateway and are currently not EMV compliant. New Data Security Standards took place October stating that any transaction not ran on the EMV platform cannot fight a chargeback. If you want to prevent future chargeback losses, please contact the corporate office and research your EMV options with customer service

I love this company!! I switched processors six months ago and could not be happier I met with a sales agent named Thomas Cody, very professional and considerate salesman After hearing him out I decided to work with him -- he cut my fees in half and upgraded my credit card machine I have been checking my statements every month because I have been burned by merchant companies in the past but everything I was promised is true I have had to call Accredited Interchange a few times for help with transactions and a recent chargeback and their customer service team proved to be just as impressive as my agent Thank you Accredited I will be recommending you to my colleagues

You are currently at a 1.8% bundled rate; we are happy to have kept our word.  [redacted] was never part of the agreement; they
control their own rates, as they are technically a private company and not part
of the Interchange.  Our Agent’s are
trained to take that volume and fees out of the cost analysis.  With Opt Blue the fees are much lower, however, we have no negotiation power with [redacted].
We are initiating a buy back on your lease, and you should
not see any more payments come out of your account from FDGL.  Please allow up to 2 months for this
completion, Accredited cannot guarantee the speed and efficiency of another
company.
Please accept our apology for the added stress to you life.  We hope the $250 of monthly savings that we
are providing you, combined with the free paper and this good faith buyout of
your lease is enough to make you happy and keep you as a client.
Does this resolve your issue?

Case # [redacted]This file was set up as a retail account with a wireless terminal because the merchant sold his product at the swap meet every week.  There are no phone/internet lines or power cords so a wireless terminal was the best option.  The merchant was...

very happy with his setup for the first 3 months until the swap meet finally kicked him out for reasons unknown to Accredited.   At that point, the merchant did not want the wireless terminal, but that’s not how leases work, they are non cancellable.  He was approved to sell those products as a retail account, so once he became a fully MOTO account the Interchange shut him down as well.  Had we known in advance that he was going to get kicked out of the swap meet we would have offered a different solution during the initial meeting.  We also provided a shopping cart for his website.  Our records show that he used both the wireless terminal and the shopping cart during his first few months with Accredited.  The accusation that he was swindled and scammed is a false accusation in an attempt to get out of a contract.   Accredited completely denies these allegations.  Resolution:We understand that getting kicked out of the swap meet was probably bad for business, and has added additional stress to this merchant’s life.  We have cancelled our contract with this merchant with no penalty and will not seek legal action for the money owed.  His current balance with Accredited is $0.  We wish him luck on his endeavors; hopefully his next retail shop is not shut down.

The customer support department at Accredited kept their word and cancelled this debt.  He is showing a $0 balance.  Maybe he owes someone else...

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Every word in this his reply is not true,
there sales rep. stopped in by when the equipment delivered and unpackaged everything
and took the empty boxes and said he will be back tomorrow to set everything up
and train us. Never came back or seen him again, and never returned any phone
calls even the main office the main office in San Diego were not willing to
send someone to setup the equipment and do the training. We kept leaving massages
and e-mail to come set us up or pick the equipment, which just been setting in
the office unable to use.
I will box all, and return it to their
office in San Diego.

I have already sent in the agreement we signed showing the promised fees and rates and a copy of the statement showing more than twice the rate. They are just saying that they can change this to give me a better rate but in their response to Revdex.com, they said exactly what they said to me that they...

would "dramatically reduce" the fees but would not specify which fees or how much the effective rate would become. They DID NOT honor the agreement and will be served by my attorney.

This matter was resolved amicably.  Mercant was sent to collections automaticaly due to ACH Rejected merchant processing fees.  This is an automated process that takes a few weeks to reverse.  The collections was reversed and the account has been closed successfully with no fees to the merchant.
