We hired Action Termite after getting several bids from different companies the whole experience has been great the inspector [redacted] that came out was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail the technician that came out was also very nice and did a great job we would highly recommend them

Ms [redacted] termite inspections are only visual and you are correct one of the things we look for is shelter tubes because this is one of the first signs of subterranean termites we also look for other signs such as damage conducive conditions for termites Ect. I understand that not all termites leave tubes such as drywood termites but we also look for signs of drywood termites during our inspections but understand your warranty only covers subterranean termites so even if we would have found evidence of drywood termites there would have been a charge to treat for them that being said the wings you found were not from subterranean termites according to my inspector that was out at your property on 7/14/1016 he has almost 20 years experience in the industry so he has seen and dealt with subterranean termite swarmers numerous times through out his years in the industry also there is no treatment for subterranean termite swarmers they are leaving an over populated colony to start another the majority of swarmers will die during this process but there is nothing that we can do until the colony has been formed and the worker termites move to the structure your structure has been treated and is protected so even once the establish they're colony they will have to move through the treatment zone we put down at the time of treatment

The first inspection consisted of visually looking for termite tubes only.  He said "No Tubes, No treatment".  All termites do not create tubes!  Drywood termites DO NOT create tubes.  Another sign of termites is evidence of swarming which is a pile of wings shed by termites.  This is what I had, and the second inspector made sure he destroyed this evidence and did not look or "inspect" anywhere else on my property.  I also did not have tubes 11 years ago when I remodeled and they treated because over 1/2 of the wood inside my bathroom was eaten by termites.

I had treatment in September 2013 (over 120 days) I spoke to an Action termite on or about Mid-January about

my persistent termite infestation. I had to wait 2 weeks for them to re-inspect my

home. I scheduled an appointment, the employee supposedly came and no one was

home. I re-scheduled the appointment again for another week out, he showed up

spent 10 minutes in my home and randomly sprayed some areas of the home and

left. I didn't get anything about this visit, I asked for a copy of proof for

the visit (Never received it). For the next week I left messages with at Action

Termite with a [redacted] and [redacted] to have someone call me about my complaint. I

finally heard back from [redacted] on 02/12/13.

It took Action Termite a week to address a

customer s complain, this is not acceptable! It is obvious that [redacted] is so disconnected

with his customer, that he cannot even accurately relay the reasons I was

upset.

My first statement to [redacted] was “I FEEL that I am getting

the run around from your company” In most cases a service base company may

simple say “I am sorry about that, How can we fix it?” (Open to communicate)

Instead [redacted] stated “I don’t see how you can say that, I am calling you back

now” At this point I felt that [redacted] was debating my feels about my

experience with his company and services. He became defensive, he could not

hear me because he was busy telling me why I could not feel the way that I did

about MY Experience with his company. Yes, I stopped this conversation because

by the very act of [redacted] debating my feelings, I knew [redacted] was not capable

of fixing or even meeting my half ways to a resolution about the bad service he

was providing. I stated to [redacted] that if he and I could not get past this I

would have to meet him in court, to fix this. 

He took full advantage of my statement to end the call. He said “do not

threaten me! Good luck” He ended the call by hanging up on me. [redacted] reaction

is that of a person who is used to hearing complaints about his company, he just is

not willing to hear it. The method he used with me is the most effective and

easiest for him. If [redacted] would have taken a step back, and not have been

offended by a customer’s complaint he may have saved himself a customer and a

bad reputation.

I paid [redacted] company $950.00 to get rid of my

termites and a 5 year warranty.  He

terminated the ability to help me by not providing me a method, way an

opportunity to get the warranty serviced. He was

argumentative and irrational as a service provider. He closed the communication

when he hung up the call for no real reason. 

He showed that he is closed and unwilling to fix the problem. I cannot work with this sort of behavior from company or person.

I have read Mr. [redacted] response we are not unwilling to take care of his problem but he needs to understand that there is no 100% guarantee that he will never have termites again there is always a chance the termites can return that is why we put the warranty on the home that being said I would be happy to speak to Mr. [redacted] and see if we cant figure this out if he is open to having a conversation

I would like to apologize to Ms [redacted] for any inconvenience I have spoken with both my inspectors and both have informed me that there was no evidence of termites any where on the structure so there was nothing for us to treat it is my understanding we went out on 7/12/2016 because Ms [redacted] was...

concerned she had a reinfestation of termites my inspector went out and did a full inspection and looked at the area that Ms [redacted] was concerned about and informed her that it was not termites she then spoke with my office because she thought that the inspector was wrong we then scheduled for our service manager to return to the property on 7/14/2016 to double check the area and Ms [redacted]'s concern he then informed her that it was not termites and let her know we could not treat if there was not evidence of termites in the state of Arizona the label of the product is the law the product we use is Termidor HE I have attached page 12 of this label where it pertains to retreatment instructions and highlighted the area it states Annual retreatment of the structure is prohibited unless there is clear evidence that reinfestation treatment zone disruption and or evidence of breakdown has occurred so unfortunately our hands our tied by Arizona state law on retreating the area Ms [redacted] stated that she has been a customer for 11 years and we have not had to come back and retreat the property during the last 11 years I believe this shows that we have done an excellent job in controlling her termite issue so at this time I dont believe we should have to refund any money because we have honored our contract and intend to going forward if at some point she has a reinfestation we will return a do any treatment necessary to resolve the problem thank you

I apologize that Mr. [redacted] feels this way I spoke with Mr [redacted] on 2/12/2014 he was upset because the termites had returned and when we went out to do the retreatment under the warranty we treated the areas of re-infestation so what I got from Mr [redacted] was that he was upset #1 because the termites had...

returned and #2 he felt that we should have retreated the entire house so I tried to explain that the termites can return that is why we put the warranty on the home so there is no more cost to the customer termites are no different than any other insect we deal with in Arizona there is always a chance they can return we also state this in our contract as far as the retreatment in Arizona the label for the product is the law in this case the product was Termidor HE the label instructions for retreatments states (These reinfested / disrupted / vulnerable areas may be retreated using spot, partial treatments Action Termite Control has done everything per contract and label instructions so I am not sure what else we could have done I am attaching a copy of the contract and the part of the label that speaks about retreatments thank you

I have enjoyed prompt and efficient service from Action Termite. I have seen no sign of termites since treatment several years ago. Their ten year warranty is a real plus.

This is the 2nd year I have used Action Control. The inspector has always been friendly and informative. This year he did find some termites outside and immediately set up an appt for their exterminator to come and spray.

I have continued on with the services of Action Termite following their acquisition of [redacted]. I have found their service to be prompt and thorough, not only their inspection techs but also their office personnel. I will continue to utilize their services and would recommend them to others should the opportunity arise.

Action Termite has always doen a great job in protecting my home. Ever since I first closed on my home 9 years ago I continue to go to them for my business.
